Street interviews, listener call-ins, vinyl gluttery, sporadic normalcy, original floperas and fiktion, blatant talking over songs, politix, tenderness, and a vague undercurrent of angst. Right up your alley!

I remember seeing Sutherland Bros. and Quiver at the Iowa State Fair circa '75. They were second on the bill, following Texas, and before Steely Dan and Elton John. Steely Dan cancelled because a power line was cut-through and the gig was running late. I was really mad as I had just purchased Can't Buy A Thrill and I really wanted to see them. They didn't tour much after that until recently.

I am in such an "Irene" headspace tonight. Nice
The Communion Lark - Braintree - C. Pigeon
This improv piece is out of place. Should've stuck with the music. After ten years I still don't know what this show "is." Music, interviews, musicals, ... all over the place. I lose the music fans with this type of thing and the interviews.
Mercy  Love Can Make You Happy   Options     1969  MP3  Tampa band  0:57:13 (Pop‑up)

Avatar 6:10pm Marcel M:

I know what you mean about the odd comfort of having a cold... I have to work when I'm sick and it sucks but sometimes I get this weird feeling from it that is akin to a comforting feeling that certain drugs will bring on.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:10pm Linda Lee:

lovin the sounds Clay! & you sound very nice. if you want to get rid of it quick, here's what you do: draw a very very hot bath. almost too hot. take a big cup of ginger tea. get in the bath. sweat your tail off. get out, wrap up in blanket.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:11pm common:

absolutely marcel weird.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:12pm Linda Lee:

the thing is to sweat while staying hydrated. sweat. sweat sweat. & be safe! don't pass out in the tub! have someone around to help.
Avatar 6:12pm Marcel M:

@Common: I think it kind of has to do with the familiarity of it.. its like oh yeah this feeling... I'm sick. Gonna be sick now for a bit. Or maybe you me and CP have just fried our brains.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:13pm common:

that could be it, marcel. either one.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:13pm Linda Lee:

we like being sick because we're too damn busy & when we call in sick, we give ourselves an excuse to relax.
Avatar 6:14pm dale:

hot and sour soup and drambuie are my favorite cold foods.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:14pm Linda Lee:

if you're sweating enough to sweat out the cold, you might actually pass out. yeah.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:15pm melinda:

Hi Clay and everyone.
Avatar 6:15pm Marcel M:

No calling in sick for me! Working through the flu a few years back was really rough. But its all good my job has its perks as well.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:15pm Linda Lee:

hola melinda!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:16pm Linda Lee:

the sweat method is good because it'll kick out the cold very fast. but it's intense :-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:17pm Wendy del Formaggio:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:35pm (Eyepatch) Noel Fox:

Hey, can anyone think of Metal song titles with the word "song" in them?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:35pm melinda:

I misread pastoral gentilia as pastoral genitalia.
Avatar 6:35pm dale:

pastoral genetalia - heh heh
Avatar 6:36pm dale:

melinda beat me - and spells better.
Avatar 6:36pm david_:

I enjoy metal though am not a connoisseur, so I'm glad to hear Clay say the dude from Testament sounds like Hetfield.
Avatar 6:37pm Marcel M:

I thought he sounded like him too David... also generally thought it sounded just like Metalica but I don't know thrash so well so thats prob why.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:37pm sweeks:
