  4:10pm Torbjørn:

Hey, Scott ! Great show, as always. @RRN63, there is a Kronos cover of Hendrix ? I gotta get me some of that. @Clay, as a matter fact, I'm crossing the mighty Boknafjorden tomorrow. It's not one of the good ones, though. Would recommend Lysefjorden as a nice one that's pretty close to where I hang around, it fjords very well. Knausgård is cool, it's nice to see him make international waves.

  4:21pm Torbjørn:

@clay, http://www.tv2.no/a/6123840, Knausgård going for it on the drums, together with some other workable writers. Not sure about their musical abilities, though. Knausgård writes about music sometimes, he's big into punk and post-punk. Norways absolute best post-punk band, The Allær Værste!, was given a nice write-up by his brother, Yngve Knausgård.
  4:24pm SeanG:

  4:24pm Clay:

Great scanners gif at that link, Scott! have a great show. I have crossed over into board-hoarding territory with my chronic posting. Street cred: 0. How are your Arbitron's looking? Still rocking the 35-45 Mahwah commuters? @Torbjørn ... I feel like I know his whole family from those (fantastic) books. Love his writing about the failed gig in the mall parking lot. Recently finished Yngwie Malmsteen's autobiography. Great! Happy Holidays our Skando friend!

Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:51pm Scott Williams:

ha, nice one @Dean! FXO and Dan Bodah have played Reich the most (Bethany's up there too); Yancy wins Glass by far (also Charlie)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:51pm steve:

there should be some sort of "Einstein on the Beach-erizer" VST
Avatar 4:56pm JakeGould:

Yup, Dan Bodah as well. But if you want a specific DJ to play a specific avant-garde piece, that’s what stations like WNYC are for.

It's because we "get" it Scott. The greatness. Without DeYoung they are as hapless as Grand Funk without Farner. Did you catch DeYoung's Tarrytown show? OMG. Me either, and I was distraught. ---- Might I say, sir ... GREAT SHOW today!
  5:53pm Clay:

ha ha Dean ... had to look that up ... "Lethe was also the name of the Greek spirit of forgetfulness and oblivion, with whom the river was often identified. In Classical Greek, the word lethe literally means "oblivion", "forgetfulness", or "concealment"." Actually, once Curulewski left styx, the magic began to leak out like fetid air from a birthday balloon.
