Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:03pm Doug Schulkind:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:04pm listener james from westwood:

Avatar 6:05pm Mayuko:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:06pm Doug Schulkind:

Everyone, this is Bob, Carol, Ted and Alice. Bob, Carol, Ted and Alice, this is everyone!

Good eatening, Mayuko!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:12pm Doug Schulkind:

You'd think with a bed show there'd be plenty of covers.
  6:13pm Dean:

Get down with the bed show!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:14pm Doug Schulkind:

Please pass the sriracha, Mayuko!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:14pm listener james from westwood:

@Doug: Aaaargh, you had to spring that on us?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:14pm Doug Schulkind:

You don't get down off a bed, Dean, you get down off a duck.
  6:15pm Dean:

So call me impatient. I can't wait for the duck show next week.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:16pm Doug Schulkind:

Guess who's on the bill, Dean.
  6:16pm Dean:

Donald? Daffy? Fucka?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:17pm Doug Schulkind:

Fucka? Fucka!
  6:17pm Dean:

Wait, not that guy "L'Orange"?!
Avatar 6:17pm Mayuko:

I don't wanna be too stereotypical, but I only have soy sauce!
  6:20pm Dean:

Duck U. Sucker?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:21pm Duck Schulkind:

Soy sauce = I am sauce, in Spanish.
  6:22pm Dean:

Estoy sauce = I'm feeling saucy.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:22pm KimSorise:

Nice, nice!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:23pm Doug Schulkind:

Stereo Typical would be a great name for a radio show.

Hi Teach!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:23pm KimSorise:

Yes, it would be! Hey Doug.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:24pm Doug Schulkind:

Give dear Fred a little num-num from me, Kim.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:26pm Doug Schulkind:

Boca 45 = Scott Hendy, from Bristol, UK.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:30pm Doug Schulkind:

If anyone would like to make a bouncy-bouncy GIF out of my playlist art, I would repay you with a heavy karmic love. Oh hell, everyone gets the heavy karmic love anyways.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:32pm Doug Schulkind:

I bet the bass player on this Manteca track had his Wheaties® the morning of the recording session.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:33pm Doug Schulkind:

The timbales player had his snorty-snort.
Avatar 6:36pm northguineahills:

Still washing clothes clothes since Tony's show (we had the bedbug exterminator come this morning, and since the wife couldn't get out of work, I've been doing all of the work).
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:37pm listener james from westwood:

Yikes, ngh! Hope that guarantees the last of the little nasties!
  6:37pm mr c:

milt jackson or melvin jackson today?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:39pm Doug Schulkind:

Yoikes, Mr C, neither Jackson in the queue, but either would've been a luscious selection.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:40pm listener james from westwood:

See, I knew "The Champ" was where Onyx picked up the refrain for "Slam" back in the 90s! I played both for a friend of mine and he couldn't connect the two.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:40pm Doug Schulkind:

Yoikes, NGH, that is nightmarish. I am definitely not doing a Bedbug Music special.
Avatar 6:42pm northguineahills:

Wish I had a washer and dryer in my building. I hadn't used a laundromat since college (I drop it off, or when abroad, use friend's and family's)

we spent 12.5 hours inspecting and wrapping all of our clothes. Luckily, most seemed to be in the mattress/box spring, and the exterminator said they'd only been there 2-3 three weeks, although we didn't notice any noticeable bites until last week (probably assumed they were mosquito bites, as we still have them in our apt).
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:42pm Doug Schulkind:

Full disclosure. I haven't actually used this Massive Attack joint as a talkover track yet. I've had it in the can for a while. You'll hear it soon, though.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:44pm Doug Schulkind:

Oh what the duck, I'm throwing some Melvin Jackson down NEXT. Thanks for the inspiration, Mr C!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:50pm Doug Schulkind:

Melvin Jackson's string bass transformations are created with: Maestro G-2 filter box for guitar, Boomerang and Echo-Plex and Ampeg amplifier.

But it sounds like one funkyass duck.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:51pm Doug Schulkind:

This record is the first LP I ever digitized.
Avatar 6:52pm ndbob:

wow Doug!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:54pm Doug Schulkind:

Yep. Wow indeed!
Avatar 6:55pm ndbob:

Firsts can be so arbitrary looking back = first 45 first LP first CD et al
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:56pm Doug Schulkind:

First 45 I ever bought = Paul McCartney's "Give Ireland Back to the Irish"
Avatar 6:57pm ndbob:

my first batch included
I'm Telling You Now
Tired of Waiting for You
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:58pm Ike:

Hi! Sounds good!
Avatar 6:59pm Mayuko:

I don't know how you can make flows like this. I'm a student learning how to make a freeform radio right now!
Avatar 6:59pm ndbob:
