Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:09pm Liz Berg:

Good day party people! Thanks for joining me! And for helping me reach my goal... woo hooo! WFMU is just a smidge away from the 100% mark, btw.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:34pm testingwithfire:

Such a cool show so far... taking the phone with me on my lunchtime stroll.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:39pm joe:

That is the quote of the day. "I ditched you for my mom"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:42pm steve:

im back on coffee! man coffee is good. especially when your work amounts to being a human assembly line most days.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:43pm steve:

i highly recommend taking a few days off coffee and donating the proceeds to WFMU.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:48pm Liz Berg:

I thank you for your sacrifice, Steve! I once quit coffee for a few years and man was that a bad idea!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:50pm KRYPT:

Hi Liz B, wow , really feeling thisJake Meginsky.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:51pm steve:

  12:53pm Pete L:

i don't know what it is about this arabic sounding stuff but i like it
Avatar 12:53pm fred:

@steve: "human assembly line"? Do you actually assemble humans or is that a metaphor?
Avatar 12:54pm fred:

Ishraqiyun really sounds like Secret Chiefs 3
Avatar 12:55pm TonyR:

"The 15" made my morning. Thanks, LB!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:55pm Liz Berg:

fred, Ishraqiyun is an offshoot of Secret Chiefs!
Avatar 12:57pm fred:

@Liz: that explains why I was pretty sure I had heard Secret Chiefs play that live
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:57pm steve:

wait, i guess all assembly lines are human assembly lines. im a one human assembly line.
  1:01pm smilerwithaknife:

ultimate paintings vocal delivery/cadence sounds exactly like Courtney Barnett...
Avatar 1:01pm ----|d¢ (pät)|----:

Hey folks, I posted this on trouble's playlist and would like to do so here too: "Hey any Paris peoples: My friends are putting on a show to promote they're book of photos from early DC punk rock scene. The opening is Dec. 10 at Agnés b., 17, rue dieu, in Paris. Ian Svenonius, and Olivia Neutron John will be there providing musics, and Alec MacKaye and Lucien Parkins (photographer) will be talking. The show will go from Dec. 11 to Dec. 31. I have nothing to do with this, just plugging for my pals."
Avatar 1:03pm fred:

I've never seen Le Singe Blanc, not for lack of opportunities but something else always comes up, usually dance. Speaking of which, I'm off to see Lucinda Childs' Available Light
Avatar 1:03pm ----|d¢ (pät)|----:

The site for this is hardartdc.com. Thank you for indulging...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:03pm Liz Berg:

Avatar 1:53pm ᏠЄႶႶỊѺµЄ:

Liz - there is a local band here called Death Eyes I think you would like. I've seen them twice and the lead singer reminds me of Gollum. Awesome! Here is a link to one of my fave songs by them - deatheyes.bandcamp.com...
