Global warming effects are definitely apparent in the Northeastern US. "Normally" we would have had a frost or two by now, maybe even a winter storm or two. But the leaves on the trees, which used to change and fall in Sept-Oct, are still lazily changing in itty bitty increments in Central Park.

There used to be a greengrocers in the neighbourhood and the owners son had a record shop in the back. Used to spend time there chewing the fat. He was a jazz buff. Stanley Turrentine was his man. So you could buy your fruit and veg and cop a record at the same time. Not sure if it even had a name.
