Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:08pm Ike:

Good evening!
Avatar 7:08pm Cheyenne:

Haha I love the Love Boat memes floating around right now!

the episode with Huun-Huur-Tu and Diamanda was the best. The part where they accidentally knock Paul Williams overboard while Ruth Buzzi and Ken Berry look on in horror is priceless!
Avatar 7:10pm Dan Bodah:

Hi y'all!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:10pm chris:

Yup, I couldn't believe it when Issac whips out some fermented yak's milk for the guys.
  7:11pm BC:

I wanna get fried.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:12pm Rich in Washington:

It must've been sweeps week, because NBC had Yat Kha on CHiPs on around the same time.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:14pm Ike:

Not for me it isn't.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:16pm Carmichael:

Image looks good to me on IE11.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:18pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Image also good for me on laptop/Firefox and Android phone/Chrome.

Ah crap, I was trying something new with the image, sorry if it's not working well cross-platforms -- have to fix it later.

Hello @everyone

this is nice!
Avatar 7:38pm Dan Bodah:

I wonder if Brooklyn Pirate Watch has reported the Flatbush pirate station that interferes with WFMU?
  7:39pm 77kid:

Good music Dan Bodah
  7:39pm Jake (the Cake) Gould:

FWIW signal strength in Bay Ridge has been… Meh… For the past week or so…
  7:40pm Jake (the Cake) Gould:

And you know what, a positive comment from “the Cake” on this show: I’m liking this!
Avatar 7:41pm Dan Bodah:

Hey BTW, I keep forgetting to mention it on the air, so -- The American Beaboxing Championships are happening this weekend in NYC! Details: www.facebook.com...

Hey guys, 19 neck Joe here
Avatar 7:43pm Dan Bodah:

Man that's a LOT of necks
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:45pm Ĩkє:

@Dan@7:38, do you mean 90.9 "Radyo Independans?" Brooklyn Pirate Watch has tweeted about R.I. several times. Love how they can't get the aspect ratio right w/any of their site's photos:
  7:45pm Mr. Joe Bob McFred:

It's a lot... For you, maybe.
Avatar 7:46pm Dan Bodah:

@Ike, bingo, that's the one.
  7:48pm penelope:

This is good music to be stuck in traffic to
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:49pm Ĩkє:

90.9 seems to be a popular frequency for interference-causing Haitian pirates. There's also one somewhere in the greater Elizabeth, NJ area. At the top of the hill in Sunset Park, sometimes you can pick up both of them.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:50pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Oddly, the 90.1 signal in my area was very good today. Usually, the signal fades out in some spots on my commute, but came in well today.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:51pm Ĩkє:

And at 91.3, flanking FMU on the other side, there's an English-language religious pirate in southern Brooklyn. Unlike many of the others, it's on the air 24/7-ish.
  7:53pm Listener Robert:

Here in the Bronx, I haven't surveyed in a few yrs., but 91.3's was the major problem, & a couple of locations on 91.1 had been so intermittently back in the 20th C.
  7:54pm Listener Robert:

Dan, even try to hit overtones yourself? I achieved a little bit of that about 25 yrs. ago when I was trying w a bunch of New Agers (or old age hippies) in a living room.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:55pm Ĩkє:

Anyone getting interference to WFMU from a pirate should report it here:
You don't need to fill in every detail, just what you know. If you notice it's on at certain hours and not others, note that. Many pirates don't operate M-F 9-5 or so.
Avatar 7:55pm Dan Bodah:

@Listener Robert, I have managed once or twice with the overtones. I'm thinking I might need to take up yodeling though...
  7:56pm Listener Robert:

Great, Dan, hope you're either serious or seriously kidding. Enjoy either way.
Avatar 8:00pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Thx DanB !
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:01pm Rich in Washington:

thanks for another great show!
  8:05pm bodahcar:

Really enjoyed the show tonight Dan! Especially liked the yodels and, of course, Ella.
