Avatar 1:11pm BEAVO:

Linda Stirling Born Louise Schultz in Long Beach, California, her first role was as a model in The Powers Girl in 1943 and her first role in a serial was the title character in The Tiger Woman (1944). In 1946, she married Republic screenwriter Sloan Nibley. In 1947, she essentially retired from films to raise a family, although she later appeared in occasional episodes of television shows.

The owner of Barney's, Erwin Held made all the female bartenders wear short skirts. So when I worked with one who do you think got more tips? I got fired eventually. Erwin passed away a few years ago. I think his son runs it now.
2:20pm David in ATL from NJ:

Simply a fantastic show today Rex!
  2:21pm Mumbler:

Biography :Vocal & instrumental group from San Francisco, the Cables were formed by leader of the group, Don McCarthy (tenor), bass is Chris Kendall, while Jim Britt and Larry Dolgin are Baritone & second Tenor. The Cables recorded two sides for RCA Victor in Los Angeles. Their "Moonlight And Roses" made the charts in the Southwest . The reverse was a satire on rock and roll mumbling and gets a big play on teen-age dance shows (guitar solo on Choo-Choo by Howard Roberts).
