A viking ship appears on the horizon, a likeness of Alice Coltrane carved into its bow. Rare birds flock together to sing Francoise Hardy as soul hits. A sunset of blips and bleeps fills the air.

Good morning. Sun dappled skies and so on.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:03am Trouble:

bonjour tuesdayites and all that we represent
  9:03am joe!:

tuesday is trouble time--yay!
  9:04am Mark R:

This is a perfect beginning. I like this record SO much. She reminds of a lot of people, but she sounds completely like herself. And I'm not sure there's a better songwriter out there.
  9:06am Adrian in London:

Hi Trouble. Dropping in and out today. Busy busy. But with Grouper it's already been a great show!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:07am Trouble:

good morning adrian, i do know your love for grouper, and why not?
  9:10am sugarwolf:

Hello all
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:11am Trouble:

today's artwork is by warlimpirrnga tjapaltjarri. he has a show up presently at salon 94 bowery
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:11am KRYPT:

Hello Trouble an everyone, deadline jobs, Turner Prize exhibition looms large, art industry serfs getting it done!!! Calming music is helping wonderfully.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:12am Ken From Hyde Park:

The artwork reminds me of a topographical map. Fun trivia question: On an actual topographical map, is it possible for lines to intersect?
Avatar 9:15am βrian:

They'd be fined for doing so.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:17am WakkaWakka:

my favorite show , trouble with tuesday... i mean. wonderful as always!
Avatar 9:17am βrian:

"Je passe mon temps à fair n'importe quoi." Charile ought to play this on his show.
Avatar 9:20am bobdoesthings:

good morning.
  9:20am Listener Robert:

Yes, it's possible on a topo to have intersecting lines. f you had a local top or bottom with ridges or ditches leading to it from different directions, that could happen.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:21am Ken From Hyde Park:

An overhanging cliff has intersecting lines.
  9:21am Listener Robert:

The ridges would be one way, the ditches the other, forming a saddle point.
Avatar 9:22am βrian:

How do you represent lemmings, then?
Avatar 9:24am Roberto:

THIS Scott Walker never drops out.
  9:24am Neanderthal Head:

  9:25am sugarwolf:

The only Scott Walker that matters.

Speaking of the Republican primaries, don't listen to Ted Cruz's voice if you can help it. Reminds me of fingernails on a chalkboard.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:34am Guido from Cologne:

One of the real great Jaques Brel cover versions!
Wasn't it Mort Shuman who wrote English lyrics?
Avatar 9:35am riley:

@sphere re:Cruz, the word "mewling" springs to mind.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:15am Trouble:

no @kevlicki i didn't, sorry to say. i really enjoyed it last year but the governors island art fair won out in a limited amount of hours in the busy weekend. saw jemeel moondoc give an amazing performance saturday afternoon at the Paterson Public Library. did you go to PS1? and then what about brooklyn book fair on sunday? so much to do!

  11:10am Dean:

It isn't polite not to talk about politics.
  11:10am Kevlicki:

I'm not a proponent of representational democracy, or voting. I think it's something people should do, or not, but get the hell on with the job of making our communities functional and safe places.
There's a lot of work to do!
I generally vote myself for president!
  11:10am Eric:

We are subjects of a powerful elite, elections are just an illusion to make you think you're "free", the illusion of freedom is just one of the tools they use to keep you subjected, in order to maintain that illusion there may be a little actual freedom allowed, like you can choose where you work and what junk you buy, lol. That said I'll vote for Bern!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:10am MD:

People Have the Power...It's true united we stand! Don't let them take our voting rights away! The Repubs. always go for that...always Trying to make it hard for us to Register and Vote!!! The voting POWER we have...Frightens them! IF WE GET OUT AND VOTE WE CAN CHANGE THINGS!!! THANK YOU TROUBLE!

Trouble, I always enjoy hearing your take on Life, Art, Politics, etc.

Also, noticed that Lonnie Holley will be playing in Los Angeles at the UCLA Hammer Museum this Sunday: http://hammer.ucla.edu/instruments/

Kim Gordon and Genesis P-Orridge will be there Saturday. Plus a bunch of other bands both days. Not sure how good most of them will be. I know at least 8-10 people who'll be performing in various groups and even though they're my friends, I'm a little worried about it. Maybe it will be great though. You never know...

I'll be there Sunday for sure as I'm a fan of Net Shaker and want to see Lonnie Holley.
