Was just thinking how some of this morning's tracks -- "Sprechen Zie", "Help Me" -- are almost hits, since they are so very familiar -- to WFMU listeners. On the other hand, to most people in the U.S. who identify themselves as music fans, they are completely unheard-of. Completely. "No one has ever heard of those songs," is how they would put it. After more than 35 years in the WFMUniverse, I have come to think that I really do live in an alternate world, and I'm just fine with that.
