Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:11pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Here's a special Drummer Some playlist for Doug's show tonight - www.wfmu.org... There's a WFMU listener could use some good vibes.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:13pm Liz Berg:

Good point, Cecile, the mood seems to be more biker scene stuff from that era.
Avatar 2:15pm Cecile:

I don't know about you, but if they put "biker rock" in the title, it would be even more awesome.
Avatar 2:19pm Cecile:

what if Melt Banana met the Angry Samoans? It might go a little sumthin like this.
Avatar 2:24pm Cecile:

Avatar 2:25pm Cheri Pi:

Avatar 2:25pm Cecile:

OLDIES for the YOUNG at heart
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:41pm Liz Berg:

Steve, you could do some band name searches on this page to see which DJs may be in possession:
wfmu.org...
Avatar 2:51pm steve:

Liz how far back does the playlist database go back? a lot of northern nj punk/hardcore and related is not to be found anywhere, even on the fmu database. though i did find a few on Pat Duncan's (!) show, which i need to go back and relisten to.

to be fair, most of it is probably not so hot in retrospect, i'm interested mostly for nostalgia purposes!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:54pm Liz Berg:

Most DJs started doing searchable playlists in the early '00s. Some DJs have older archives and a few went back to pop in playlist data for those old shows, too.
  2:54pm Playing with Matches:

I would like for this show to go at least another hour or two please and thank you.
Avatar 2:55pm steve:

thanks Liz!! i shall continue the digging.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:56pm Scott Williams:

@Steve, some possibly good news for you: Diane has posted her playlists going back to 1982!! www.wfmu.org...
Avatar 2:58pm steve:

hot dam. thanks Scott!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:59pm Greg from Bloomfield:

Thanks much, Liz!
