Good morning Jonathon.
Avatar Sun. 6/14/15 3:08am JakeGould:

Hello fine sir. Here for a few and then off to sleep.
  Sun. 6/14/15 3:08am rw:

E. Harvey is making me a little anxious.
Avatar Sun. 6/14/15 3:09am Jherweg:

Hey everyone! Thats the exact opposite of what it's supposed to do RW!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Sun. 6/14/15 3:09am cklequ:

I got here on time for once.
Same gloomy time slot, but i'm glad you're still here.
Avatar Sun. 6/14/15 3:10am Jherweg:

Thanks so much.....
  Sun. 6/14/15 3:12am Steve:

Morning Jon
Avatar Sun. 6/14/15 3:12am Simon P:

morning to our DJ
Avatar Sun. 6/14/15 3:13am Jaackk:

Jonathan, finally listening to the show live! (this is jack h)
  Sun. 6/14/15 3:13am rw:

It's cool. I feel more comfortable when I'm a little anxious. In agreement with cklequ. Glad you're still here for the Summer!
  Sun. 6/14/15 3:14am Stanley:

@Jake - loved your comment on Mary's show about the Proclaimers. I detest then vehemently and they're an embarrassment to my country. Recently, a movie was made based on where I live and the fuckers did the soundtrack. Utter bullshit.
Avatar Sun. 6/14/15 3:14am Jherweg:

Cool Jack , I'll give you a little shout out!!
  Sun. 6/14/15 3:16am Stanley:

Sorry, Jonathan, where's my manners. good morning to you
  Sun. 6/14/15 3:17am Henry:

Hey Jon, today I'm working, blurred and obscure is my company, a great one indeed!
Avatar Sun. 6/14/15 3:17am Jherweg:

Hah ah Good Morning
Avatar Sun. 6/14/15 3:19am Simon P:

@Stanley Proclaimers kind of outstayed their welcome (if they ever had one!) like many who don't know when to quit and become sad parodies
  Sun. 6/14/15 3:23am @Simon:

@Simon - too right
Avatar Sun. 6/14/15 3:23am Simon P:

RIP Ornette. I guess at least he didn't die young like Ayler, Coltrane, Dolphy etc. But he will be irreplaceable
Avatar Sun. 6/14/15 3:31am Jherweg:

This is melting my face off.....
Avatar Sun. 6/14/15 3:31am Simon P:

and hello JACK if you're listening!
  Sun. 6/14/15 3:32am Stanley:

This is very good
  Sun. 6/14/15 3:32am Steve:

Hey jack H hope you enjoy

Avatar Swag For Life Member Sun. 6/14/15 3:38am Ike:

Hello. This is cool.
  Sun. 6/14/15 3:41am rw:

I can't remember if being 15 yrs old particularly sucked or not. It all kind of sucks but it's all kind of great too. I feel it's the suckiness that keeps us moving.
Avatar Sun. 6/14/15 3:41am Simon P:

this is not a nuclear alert..repeat this is not a nuclear alert
  Sun. 6/14/15 3:44am rw:

And JH, I'm wondering what music you were using to try to impress the girls.
Avatar Sun. 6/14/15 3:47am Jherweg:

Hmmm I can't even remember......Sun Ra, and Flipper I remember freaking out about when I was a kid. My Music taste wasn't as well developed as Jack's at 15.
Avatar Sun. 6/14/15 3:48am Jaackk:

you didn't have the internet though...
Avatar Sun. 6/14/15 3:48am Jherweg:

John Frusciante's first solo album too, but that didnt come out until I was a senior in High School.
Avatar Sun. 6/14/15 3:49am Jherweg:

I used to go to Midnight Records on 23rd street and just buy stuff randomly. I bought Daydream Nation there and it changed my Life..
Avatar Sun. 6/14/15 3:50am Bazinge:

We had a programme in the UK called "Transmission" that was on at about 4am on a Tuesday morning. I used to set the VHS to record and watch it in the morning before going to school.
Avatar Sun. 6/14/15 3:52am Jherweg:

I had my tape deck hooked up through my television to record night flight on USA ha ha ha. I wish I still had all those old TV cassettes.
Avatar Sun. 6/14/15 3:52am Bazinge:

The VHS revival is coming!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Sun. 6/14/15 3:52am cklequ:

This David Prescott.... holy crap.
  Sun. 6/14/15 3:56am rw:

I'd call Sun Ra and Flipper pretty sophisticated for 15. I was 15 in 1977 and listening to the early stirrings of Punk/New Wave when I could find them. I was a pretty huge Eno fan by then too.

We had a show in LA called New Wave Theater but that was a little later. More like early '80s. I think there may be some episodes on YouTube.
Avatar Sun. 6/14/15 4:00am Jherweg:

Rangda talk about a super group!!!
  Sun. 6/14/15 4:00am rw:

But I was too scared of girls at 15 to share weird music with them. Maybe still at 52 or however old I am.
Avatar Sun. 6/14/15 4:01am Jherweg:

I thought if i found a girl who dug the same music as me I could survive high school , that didnt happen.
Avatar Sun. 6/14/15 4:02am Simon P:

my big sis was my musical mentor. when she was away I'd go through all her vinyl on her Dansette..the Doors, Family, Hendrix, Dylan, Joplin, 'Fill Your Head With Rock'....Roy Harper...
Avatar Sun. 6/14/15 4:06am Bazinge:

I've still got my older sister's Ziggy Stardust album.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Sun. 6/14/15 4:11am sinister dexter:

my high school sucked too .... christian .... dropped out weeks from graduation
Avatar Sun. 6/14/15 4:12am Simon P:

that transubstantiation and tabernacle stuff is pretty weird when you're a kid
Avatar Sun. 6/14/15 4:13am Jaackk:

when is that ever not weird?
Avatar Sun. 6/14/15 4:14am Jherweg:

It's all dungeon's and dragons bullshit.
Avatar Sun. 6/14/15 4:15am Jherweg:

I'm such a bad influence. ha ha ha sorry Jack..
Avatar Sun. 6/14/15 4:17am Simon P:

add dodgy nuns and sadistic priests and you got a lot of work for the psychotherapy industry/big profits for Big Pharma
Avatar Swag For Life Member Sun. 6/14/15 4:17am sinister dexter:

it IS all bullcrap ..... heh heh ..... glad you are still on the air Jonathan ... good to be listenning live , usualy hear you on the archives , jumped out of bed when i heard the rain , had to cover my boat
Avatar Sun. 6/14/15 4:18am Jaackk:

i appreciate your influence
  Sun. 6/14/15 4:20am rw:

JH, I'd call you a good influence.

I'm out. Have a good week all!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Sun. 6/14/15 4:20am sinister dexter:

saw a great music documentary recently "Searching For Sugarman" ...... very good
  Sun. 6/14/15 4:24am vlad:

running around with this tune
  Sun. 6/14/15 4:31am Stanley:

Jh - remembering what you said about schooldays. I had to 'like' a lot of shit music in order to get off with girls. it didn't take long to realise it wasn't worth it!
  Sun. 6/14/15 4:35am sylvia:

It's too bad you dudes didn't go to my high school...my girl posse had better taste in music than most of our guy friends.
Avatar Sun. 6/14/15 4:35am Simon P:

1959 Ornette sounds fresh as a daisy in 2015
Avatar Sun. 6/14/15 4:37am Jherweg:

High School was a sad wank fest for me mostly. I did eventually get a cool girlfriend which was a life savor.
  Sun. 6/14/15 4:47am sylvia:

savor = saver + savior + savory :=)
Avatar Sun. 6/14/15 4:47am Simon P:

the Soul boys always got the best girls
Avatar Sun. 6/14/15 5:02am Jaackk:

Avatar Swag For Life Member Sun. 6/14/15 5:50am fred:

Jonathan, the good thing is that you can start a 3 hour guitar show then change your mind if you get bored with it
Avatar Swag For Life Member Sun. 6/14/15 5:51am sinister dexter:

Avatar Sun. 6/14/15 5:52am Simon P:
