Hi Mugsy , welcome one and all….
  12:08am cheri:

hello nick,goodmorning everybody! what's up?
Avatar 12:08am hambone:

sounds good from here.
  12:13am cheri:

btw nick, when's the new schedule coming out?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:17am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

New Schedule reportedly *starts* June 9th (which isn't what you asked.)
I shall be listening horizontally in the dark.
Avatar 12:20am Claw!:

Oi, Nick!
Salutations, Good People!
  12:22am cheri:

hi claw!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:22am Ike:

Please don't feed the troll, @RevRab. :) (Long history, not worth recounting. It occasionally lulls you into thinking it'll behave... but always ends up slipping into tiresome shtick AGAIN. And AGAIN. And AGAIN.)
  12:25am cheri:

OHH NO ike is here.
Avatar 12:25am northguineahills:

I've never been disappointed by Richard Youngs, and tis Circuit des Yeux is new to me. Thanks Nick!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:26am Ike:

Eh, jeez, I can't even take my own advice. Explicating re: the troll is, in and of itself, feeding the troll. What a conundrum. The music is great, though!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:27am Ken From Hyde Park:

Hello, listeners.
Avatar 12:27am northguineahills:

I've really been away from the boards this last two weeks, I've seen references, Ike, but I missed the action.
Swag For Life Member 12:28am Nick Name:

Hi hambone - thx for checking in
  12:30am cheri:

ike if you don't like me, then LEAVE!
Swag For Life Member 12:31am Nick Name:

Hi cheri, thx for checking in - comes out very end of may / starts on june 8
Swag For Life Member 12:32am Nick Name:

hi RR Nov63 / Claw! / Ike / northguineahills / ken From HP - thx all for checking in
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:34am Ike:

What's up NGH? Did you make it to the Rec Fair? I liked the new space. Glass walls! Lots of light.
Avatar 12:38am Claw!:

I think the lovely Mr. McGasko played summa that White Eyes earlier today... Good stuff!
Avatar 12:39am northguineahills:

I made it a week too late (saw my friend play at the same space live for the Brooklyn Design Festival thingy), as I was broke, as per usual for the Record Fair. It happens every year, and my wife frowns upon me taking up more space w/ new rekkids.
  12:41am cheri:

i'm checking out now nick, night see you soon.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:42am Ken From Hyde Park:

Take care, cheri.
Swag For Life Member 12:44am Nick Name:

@cheri: nighty night
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:50am Ĩkє:

Next time you should come see it and say hi, that is, if you think you'd have the willpower to resist buying anything. Maybe just volunteer (then you get in free). Don't bring more than a few bucks and then you won't be too tempted. Watch movies in the AV Lounge instead! That's what I do sometimes.
Avatar 12:56am northguineahills:

So, I just found out Amazon did a TV series of the Philip K Dick, novel, "The Man in the High Castle". I've read the book, a few years back, and considering the subject matter, and his other books, I was let down (but still an awesome book, nonetheless). I wonder if the TV series is actually any good (premise, Japan and Germany divide the US after WWII.)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:02am Tome:

eh up Nick and all ,, nice set. diggig' it
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:06am Ike:

NGH, only the pilot episode is available now, and it's pretty good. Very atmospheric. They're still working on a full first season. (Agreed on the book; not quite what I was expecting, but not bad.) You don't even need Prime to watch the pilot episodes of their various shows. Pilots were free for all the last time I checked.
Avatar 1:08am northguineahills:

Thanks Ike!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:15am Ike:

Amazon's Bosch -- not as good, don't bother. Nice cinematography, great actors, but sloppy writing. But see Hannibal (great realization of a terrible premise; Mads Mikkelsen utterly demolishes Anthony Hopkins) if you can stand the creative gore. It's a mad fever dream. Also: The Americans.
Swag For Life Member 1:15am Nick Name:

Hey Tome, thx for checking in
Avatar 1:16am JakeGould:

Hi all! The record fair space was nice. I forgot what DJ said it, but they implied that all the sunlight helped kill off the odor of some collectors. So mean, but so funny.
Avatar 1:17am feedbackloop:

This sounds a bit like one of Philip Glass' Qatsi trilogy scores redone for chiptunes. Interesting!
Avatar 1:17am Claw!:

I like dis here tune
Swag For Life Member 1:18am Nick Name:

@ feedbackloop: it is, it was made for the game Delta on the C64 in 87
Avatar 1:20am Mugsy:

Avatar 1:51am Claw!:

Goodness, this is lulling me to sleep (in a good way).
I'm gonna sign out, but I will leave this on so I can have some nice sleep tunes.
Good night, Nick! Good night, All! Have a great weekend!
Swag For Life Member 1:53am Nick Name:

hey Claw! - next track definitely going to send you to the land of nod - have a good weekend
Avatar 1:54am JakeGould:

@NickName: Whoa! Giving me nice flashbacks here. I played Atari 400/800 games back in the day, but C64 music was pretty amazing. www.youtube.com...
Swag For Life Member 2:08am Nick Name:

@JakeGould: Atari 400/800 was great too, i played the Vic 20 before the C64.
Rob Hubbard composed a lot of the C64 games, he was the first person devoted to composing sound and music at Electronic Arts (EA) in 1988
Avatar 2:15am JakeGould:

@NickName: He’s not in this pic, but when I think of the early creative days of Electronic Arts I think of this poster: www.flickr.com...
  2:16am P-90:

Good Morning Nick and Namophiles. Joining very late (sadly) and a little bit tipsy (happily) to find that I missed all this good stuff. Some DJs, you can't turn your back on 'em, you'll regret it. I know, I know, "archives"....
Swag For Life Member 2:18am Nick Name:

@JakeGould: Ha ha….leather glove with studs
Avatar 2:18am JakeGould:

Really nice that the Internet has a Videogame Music Preservation Foundation. Here is the Rob Hubbard page: www.vgmpf.com...
Swag For Life Member 2:18am Nick Name:

Mornin P-90!
Avatar 2:19am JakeGould:

@NickName: Yeah, EA was trying ride the punk/new wave vibe with that. Bill Budge did create some decent games like pinball construction set.
Avatar 2:45am JakeGould:

Jesus! Stashu is going to be interviewing the real Monty Hall (Monte Halparin) on her show!
  2:45am rw:

Hey Nick! Hello kids! Checking in to say hello before the show's end. Nick your shows are always great. Thanks, man!
Swag For Life Member 2:55am Nick Name:

hey rw - thx for checking in
Swag For Life Member 3:02am Nick Name:
