our van broke down in West Virginia once. My friend and sister had to drive down from DC to pick us up with all our gear. The van stayed in the parking lot of the Super8 motel.

If you like band gig stories I highly recommend the book "An Oral History of the Legendary City Gardens" by Amy Yates. It's awesome. Forward is written by Mickey Ween (Ween guitarist).
