Street interviews, listener call-ins, vinyl gluttery, sporadic normalcy, original floperas and fiktion, blatant talking over songs, politix, tenderness, and a vague undercurrent of angst. Right up your alley!

Seriously, I know many of you won't read this, but if you happen to, THANK YOU for helping The Dusty Show and WFMU reach our goals. I really enjoyed this Marathon, although I though I was weak in Week 2. To be honest, it's hard to do that Marathon Show after co-hosting with Fabio. Dusty seems anti-climactic after that. And in truth, my shows have been spotty lately. Anyway ... thank you for pledging, to ALL the listeners, the volunteers, the FMU staff, sound people. light people. food people, musicians, everyone that made it happen. I really appreciate the money you pledged. I know that it is not easy to do that. I pledged this year, but only as much as I could and it's hard because I want to pledge for everyone. At any rate. I appreciate your support, loyalty, patience, all of it. You are the greatest listeners in the world, no doubt.
I was tottaly SUCKING at this point. Dying on the air. So boring and inhibited. So self-aware. It's been a problem lately. Rudderless.

WHY do you guys NEVER call until I START the song????? It amazes me. hahahahaaaa

CC7 is good. I am proud of it. And the Bonus CD turned out well, too. 77 minutes of mini-musicals and weirdness

Are You Tired of Yourself? dusty@wfmu.org
I looked it uo. Alex Karras played Doc in the movie FM. A tired, disillusioned DJ who has lost his confidence and is waiting to be laid off. I always remembered that role and feel it sometimes, that feeling of losing the mojo. weird I'd rather share that with you, not neccesarily to whine, but to let you know that I am AWARE when I suck, so you don't think I am just skating by and cavalierly getting away with sucking and not caring. I do care.
Growing Moss .... Real Life Rihanna sound better than THIS! I acyually like real life Rihanna.

you both probably remember the year-one of the first years fmu did not reach the goal,by my memory; and Vin Skelsa, who was dj on a commercial station at the time, rallied listeners of that station to donate to wfmu until the goal was met.

  6:30pm Gee Lampa:

Personally, I'd like to see a law that unseats any elected official that mentions "God", with regard to any proposed legislation. Out. One strike.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:30pm tomasz.:

i like that the original Neversink was sunk to make way for a reservoir.
  6:30pm V Priceless:

Interesting history, Neversink and towns that were abandoned for the building of the reservoirs. Bittersweet was another one....

Hi Clay and Fabio! <3
  6:37pm JakeGould:

Ooo… Another show idea, the “Shove It Show.” People call in complaining and the host basically helps those people shove “it” out of their lives. End of each call the host and listener shout “Shove it!”
  6:37pm Sally:

I love Clay no matter what mood he is in. I love everything he says and plays because it is all Clay Pigeon.
