Looks like they caught one. Where's the black one? They'll probably shoot the black one, right? "He was reaching for something."

You're right, Sem--that high-pitched camera noise would be good for at least a half hour on Bryce's show.

Inutili sound better in Fabio's show then on Bandcamp.

I missed the name of the renovated theater Fabio mentioned. Did anyone catch the name or know the theater he mentioned?

No, it was in December.

Avatar 4:20pm Cecile:

Although Big Hero Six was excellent.
Avatar 4:21pm Cecile:

Sulfuric or muriatic?
Avatar 4:22pm Cecile:

that was a question for ? from a while back
Avatar 4:23pm JakeGould:

I looked up prices for the New Jack Swing concert they are having at the Kings. Yeah, I like that and to see El DeBarge in a real theater in Brooklyn… Wow. Anyway, those prices. Boy howdy!
  4:23pm I k e:

Sadly looks like Loew’s Kings is mostly overpriced concerts... didn't see films scheduled to play there last I checked; hope I'm wrong
Avatar 4:23pm Cecile:

El DeBarge was sounding good around the time of his last solo album a few years back.
Avatar 4:25pm JakeGould:

@Ike: I hope that at some point they show films. And what’s sad in Brooklyn is there are so many underused former theaters that are now supermarkets or crap like that. I win the lottery I’m buying one of those places and just making it a theater again. Also, I will eat shredded $20 bills just because I can afford to if I win the lottery.
  4:33pm Robert:

"War Machine, Fart on Molly"?
  4:34pm Mark:

Poor Molly. She didn't do nothin'.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:35pm chris:

I chuckle every time I'm driving in Germany and Austria: Ausfarht... hehe. I'm a child.
Avatar 4:35pm dale:

jim croce and richard pinhas almost back to back this afternoon - where else but this station?
  4:38pm Robert:

Near me the Globe Theater went from regular movies to pornies, drew a lot of fire for that from locals, then after a fairly long closure went back for a while to regular cinema (allowing me to see Andy B.'s "Rat Race" & Bilko), then a fairly brief closure, a furniture store, a long closure, and now a supermarket.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:39pm Guido from Cologne:

usual is "fahrt zur Hölle" (go to hell).
so it should be "war machines: you all shall go to hell"
"Molle" is no usual German.
Do not quite get the pun.
Avatar 4:40pm Polyus:

@chris - we got endless amusement from 'gute fahrt'.
  4:40pm ?:

carbolic
  4:41pm Robert:

A couple of Loews (one on the Grand Concourse, another near W'chester Sq.) became bingo halls for a while, at different times. The one near the Sq. later was Parking Violations Bureau for a while. NYCDOT has a habit of opening & closing offices frequently; actually that seems to be true of other city & state agencies too, at least Labor's always relocating.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:43pm common:

good noise!
Avatar 4:43pm JakeGould:

In Brooklyn, I know of one on 4th Avenue near Flatbush that is now a church that is being renovated. The Fortway on Fort Hamilton Parkway in Dyker Heights near Sunset Park is now a supermarket. The Oceana in Brighton Beach is now a Russian catering hall and performance space. On Avenue J the Midwood is a medical building now. The only one I would personally think can be revived is the Loew's 46th Street Theatre which is a furniture store warehouse now, but the insides are still intact to a degree. cinematreasures.org...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:44pm Guido from Cologne:

"molle" can be an abreuvoir for mold.
so maybe an oven is meant to replace hell f...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:44pm chris:

nothing quite like a gute farht, when you need one, eh, @Polyus? :D
  4:45pm Robert:

Meanwhile on net supermarkets near me have been disappearing, several converted to chain drug stores. Higher profit margins for the goods & shelf space, I'm sure.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:48pm steve:

dont get me started on how the roller disco in Greenpoint became a Rite Aid.
  4:49pm Robert:

One meaning Wiktionary gives for Molle is Horbeispiele. "War Machine, go to Harp Playing". That being a cute way of saying, die, as dead spirits are often depicted playing harps. Of course I'm just guessing Horbei is harp.
Avatar 4:50pm doca:

I think it is "Hölle", isn't it? Which whould mean hell, I guess. "Kriegsmaschine, fahrt zur Hölle" (War Maching, go to hell)
  4:50pm Robert:

Steve, the chain drug markets seem to be at a ridiculous density.
  4:55pm Robert:

The Crab never plays with puppets.
Avatar 4:56pm Cecile:

quit taunting us
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:57pm Guido from Cologne:

It's a Typo!
It is
Kriegsmaschinen, Fahrt Zur Hölle
  4:57pm Robert:

The only remaining question is whether Samain refers to week, Samhain, or semen.
Avatar 4:57pm V Priceless:

phew! thought I heard Fabio say "Fart Zoo" there for a sec...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:57pm Guido from Cologne:

Dicogs check:

Avatar 4:59pm Fabio:

thanks Guido!
  5:06pm Robert:

There's a Yiddish pun incorporating "farhrt gezunt" that can be understood as, "Have a good trip, and let's hear from you.", or, "Fart well, and let's hear it."
Avatar 5:07pm david_:

If you go to Fab's record store, a vinyl album by a Japanese porn star is prominently displayed, or was recently. What would Clay Pidge think?

Avatar 5:28pm northguineahills:
