Mid-40s today in MN. What kind of bizarro world is this?
Avatar 9:30am Marcel M:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:30am common:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:31am sinister dexter:

Avatar 9:32am Marcel M:

The blank swiss with a swiss army knife sounds pretty cool to me.

I was looking forward to the Simpsons viewing tonight at the Nitehawk, but I can only imagine it will be canceled?
Avatar 9:33am Chris M.:

swiss cheese is cheaper if you buy it without the holes.
Avatar 9:36am Marcel M:

Good point Chris. And eventually that pocket knife will pay for itself.
Avatar 9:37am coelacanth:

hello Chris; Imagination.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:43am DCE:

Avatar 9:43am Marcel M:

Does this song make ANYONE think of acid?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:44am efd:

I assume this Ladytron song (which I love btw) is dedicated to the snow.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:45am AndrewC.:

Marcel - what do you think that bibbly wibbly noise is in the tune?
Avatar 9:46am Marcel M:

@AndrewC: Some guy trying to play an instrument on Acid?

Avatar 10:17am the Canterbury wood-elf:

@MarcelM The origins of the term "acid house" remain mysterious. A lot of early UK adherents assumed it had something to do with LSD (and experimented accordingly, before discovering MDMA to be more suitable). Some of the Detroit/Chicago originators claimed it wasn't drug-related, but came from the street slang "acid burn", meaning to rip off (meant in the sense of sampling sounds).
  10:19am Ike:

Nobody else at work today (yet) so I'm blasting this.
  10:20am EL MUSGO:

GREAT SHOW> perfect for the calm hours before the storm.

  11:00am Ike:

If I didn't know better I'd think Chris M was putting us on about Whitesnake being on the Scott W Hour today but he wouldn't say such a thing if it weren't true surely.
Avatar 11:02am Claw!:

Only if they're certified in avaclanchery resetting.
You don't wanna take any chances on some quack, Chris.

Avatar 11:09am Cecile:

Can you play something from Sentenced's Funeral Album? That was from 2005.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:15am Greg from Bloomfield:

Yeah, commercial slushstep is pretty whack, but there's some real interesting stuff going on underground.
