  11:02am blee:

All praise the steamed broccoli tray
  11:06am blee:

I cannot wait to hear how you celebrate New Years, Chris M. Har har.
Avatar 11:06am Chris M.:

@bobdoesthings yes, orthodox. a lot of people don't realize it has to be kosher as well.
Avatar 11:06am bobdoesthings:

OHHH snap I know this sample..
Avatar 11:07am bobdoesthings:

@chris M... ohhh.. my family has been doing it wrong for years then... shit
Avatar 11:07am Cecile:

What about the traditional huffing of the eggnog?
Avatar 11:08am kiemzi:

i wanna be called flexington now
Avatar 11:08am Chris M.:

@Cecile: another common misnomer about orthodox christmas. we actually prepare the eggnog by drying it, crushing it into a powder and then we snort it.
Avatar 11:10am Cecile:

AH. We are Eastern Rite, we convert the eggnog into a vapor mixed with hairspray and we get wicked loopy off that.
Avatar 11:10am Cecile:

Kiemzi, nothing stopping you from changing your profile name.
  11:11am blee:

@Flexington, I dig your new name, it has a nice ring to it.
Avatar 11:12am Chris M.:

@Cecile: may the blessings of Randy Bachman be with you.
Avatar 11:13am Cecile:

And also with you. Go with Burton Cummings.
Avatar 11:14am Cecile:

Excuse me, go in the grace of Burton Cummings.
Avatar 11:18am kiemzi:

idk, i'm just gonna start flexing so hard in the street and see if anything happens
Avatar 11:23am Cecile:

"up on Flexington, 1-2-5, feel sick and dirty more dead than alive..."
  11:24am Resolver:

I resolve to never again use the phrase "killing it" in a figurative sense. Please join me.

Avatar 11:27am kiemzi:

Avatar 11:27am Rev. Turnip Druid:

Still on zee vacation time but cranking out freelance at HQ. Headphones nailed on. Let's kindly freak me the hell out.

Thanking you in advance for your understanding in this matter, I remain,
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:28am Mike East:

You're killing it this morning, Chris M. Literally. Its dead.
Avatar 11:29am Chris M.:

i'm sorry...?
Avatar 11:30am Rev. Turnip Druid:

wow, instant jodorowsky vibe from this Karelia thing. 1971 sounds about right.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:30am Mike East:

Its okay. It was its time to go. Thank you.

@RTD - I can hear that
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:31am Mike East:

I think it was you who recommended I watch El Topo and Sante Sangre...which I have since done, several times. I'm not the same person anymore.
  11:32am Marcel M:

Oh snap here it is
Avatar 11:32am Sem Chumbo:

Ah, TVZ. Thanks, Chris.
Avatar 11:33am ottovonbqe:

Marcel - Not a cover - I believe TVZ wrote this one.
Avatar 11:33am Rev. Turnip Druid:

@Mike E.: Those films would do it.
Santa Sangre isn't as "far out" as the others but it's my far favorite. A total head-scrambler in more subtle ways.
Avatar 11:34am Sem Chumbo:

Mick and Keith, I think.
Avatar 11:35am ottovonbqe:

Oh, you're right. Not sure why I thought that.
Avatar 11:36am Sem Chumbo:

@otto: maybe this, from wikithingy: Townes Van Zandt included a version of the song on his album of live covers Roadsongs; this version was used in the film The Big Lebowski.
  11:38am ?:

Anyone seen dance of reality? I think that is jodorowsky's newest... I have not but am very curious.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:41am Mike East:

I haven't yet, question mark...I've heard good things from friends. I have it on my netflix queue for whenever its released on dvd.
Avatar 11:46am Rev. Turnip Druid:

It's a good one. There are several riffs on scenes in Santa Sangre (which had some autobiographical layers hidden under surreal treatments) -- Always good to see fresh Jodo-brain.
  11:49am ?:

Glad to hear it RTD. I have also heard good things, and looking forward to it. Personally, my two favs are Tusk and Holy Mountain.
Avatar 11:54am bobdoesthings:

aghhhh my mind melted! thanks chris m! thanks a lot!
  11:54am marmalade kitty:

Happy 4/5th day of chrismas!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:56am joe:

very distant cousins
Avatar 11:58am βrian:

And why does she sing about Christopher Walken?
Avatar 11:58am still b/p:

Couldn't be family. Frank wouldn'ta let no relative pose in the naked like she done for the Playboy.
  11:59am ?:
