Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:45pm adrian in mpls:

@steve - i'm with you. this album on the xmas radio station, plus songs from sowiesoso, and i'd be a much happier xmas camper
Avatar 3:49pm doca:

Hey, folks!
Avatar 3:49pm steve:

  3:50pm Dean:

I'm a sucker for "traditional" Christmas music. It's what redeems the frigging holiday. I'm talking medieval and Renaissance shit, none of this Bing Crosby bologna. Try Sequentia's "Plebs domini" from their Acquitania album. Turn out the lights, sip your Bourbon, and take it in. It made a believer (in something or another) of me.
Avatar 3:50pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

instant meeting! NOOOOOOoooooooooo........
  3:51pm ?:

Don't worry, the xmas content can drop at any time... Scott: there is no solace in the unknown, you have instilling fear of the holy spirit in those of us with allergic reactions to such things.
Avatar 3:53pm Claw!:

  3:58pm Dean:

A believer, but not a good speller: Aquitania.
  4:01pm βrian:

Haven't heard Sequentia in years, but I loved their work. Also, nearly anything by the Tallis Scholars. I've seen them three times now.
  4:05pm Dean:

I've heard Tallis Scholars live only once. It's cliche to say, but their tone is ethereal. I've heard Sequentia maybe half a dozen times, including their early performance of Ordo Virtutum in Southern California. Better, I've read much of the work of Peter Dronke, whose studies of medieval poetry inspire so much of Sequentia's work.

  4:53pm Dean:

Mis ondas radiofónicas son tus ondas radiofónicas.
  4:53pm Dean:

I hear what you did there, SW.
Avatar 4:53pm V Priceless:

I think there was an issue w/the FM signal recently - maybe still being fixed?
  4:57pm Dean:

Next thing you know, we'll be hearing Cocteau Twins' "Frosty the Snowman."
  4:58pm Elias:

You may already know this, the 91.1 signal keeps cutting in and out.
Avatar 5:00pm Chris from DC:

This and that "Sweet Jesus" Fabio played last week are all the xmas music I need.
Avatar 5:03pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

also: what th'toad said, re: Sweet Jesus..
  5:19pm Dean:

So this is the same Craig Leon who worked with Sire Records at the advent of the punk era?

Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:37pm Scott Williams:

thanks fer noticing risky - we're tweakin away!
Avatar 5:42pm Pete from Boston (and NJ):

I can never tell if WFMU is broken. "Broken" is not as useful a concept down there as it is in the outside world.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:43pm fleep:

If tweaking helps you fix the problem, go for it.
Avatar 5:43pm βrian:

Tweakin' and twerkin, but it's hard to get workin'.
I rarely think of WFMU as an analog radio station.
  5:49pm dann baker:

Great shoe, Senor Williams.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:52pm YETI BOB:

these boogarins sound great! nice show scott, thanks
Avatar 5:52pm Pete from Boston (and NJ):

Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:53pm Scott Williams:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:54pm maestroso:

90.1 signal is loud and clear up here in faraway Sussex County.
Avatar 5:54pm Pete from Boston (and NJ):

Velcro Dance sounds like planetarium theme music.
  5:57pm r i s k y:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:57pm Ken From Hyde Park:

If Best Buy has year-end deals on transmitters, maybe a good time to head over there and pick up a couple.
Avatar 5:58pm Claw!:

Great show, Scott. Thanks! Merry merry!
