I'm in the zone with this Trad Gras jam...need to get more of the CDs, the bonus tracks on those are so deep

Avatar 3:30am Eiderdown:

I have Djungelns Lag..the live bonus track is insane. Same on the Harvester cd's...the album itself is killer than bam, they drop these long-ass live tracks that just coast you out to somewhere in Sweden where the sun is shining :)
  3:35am turndaddy:

for real- coast masters! my favorite consequence of "minimalism" when all is said and done:) Mors Mors is another live like Djungelns. mayb my fav cuz i heard it first? lookin forward to finishin this show tomorrow afternoon jeff- dozin off now- thanks for the tunes & travel safe thru the night yall
Avatar 3:36am Jeff Conklin:

Thanks, Turner. Sleep Well
Avatar 3:39am Eiderdown:

Love this era of Religious Knives. Great show so far Jeff!
Avatar 3:40am Jeff Conklin:

This is my fave record of theirs. Felt perfect after Madrigal. Wonder if Bernstein knew about that record back in the day. Will have to ask him tomorrow.
Avatar 3:46am Eiderdown:

Made perfect sense to me. Are they still playing? Or did they hang it up after parenthood?
Avatar 3:47am Eiderdown:

The Knives crew are good folks...my old band played with them a few times
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:54am Jeroen Kuster:

Avatar 3:57am Jeff Conklin:

Avatar 5:21am Sem Chumbo:

Diggin' the show, Jeff, lovely flow.
Avatar 5:29am Jeff Conklin:

Thank you, Sem, I try my best to make things move fluidly
  5:31am Mark:

This "Morning Meditations" album is pretty. Nice early a.m. stuff.
Avatar 5:34am Jeff Conklin:

Hey, Mark. Thanks for checking in. It's actually a tape Anthony's been selling at shows!
  5:35am Mark:

It's cool that you're playing a tape a guy is selling at shows. No other station would do that.
Avatar 5:36am Jeff Conklin:

To be fair, I didn't buy it. A friend is a friend of Anthony's and grabbed it for me. I'd love to see him though!
  5:42am Mark:

Well, what's cool about your show (and FMU) is that you're playing a guy's tape who has no agent, no promotion budget, no big label pushing him, taking it straight to listeners like me, and some of us really like it and are now fans of his.
Avatar 5:44am Jeff Conklin:

That's the idea, Mark! Check out his LP from earlier this on VDSQ...One of my favorites of 2014.
Avatar 5:52am pierre:

Bonjour Jeff and people of the Avant ghetto !
Avatar 5:56am plasticfangs:

That Anthony Pasquarosa tape can be purchased/downloaded through Bandcamp too:

  5:57am Mark:

Thanks so much, Plastic!
  5:57am the Canterbury wood-elf:

i absolutely LOVE this Crosby album, everything about it (title, cover, all the tracks, everyone on it). Thanks so much Jeff, you've set me up for the day : )
Avatar 5:57am plasticfangs:

No problem Mark. Good to know people are able to get this stuff.
Avatar 5:58am Jeff Conklin:

Nice save, Plastic! Have a great week everyone!
Avatar 6:12am Malequath:

Is this David Crosby with Stevie Wonder?
Avatar 6:14am Malequath:
