Avatar 9:07pm yukamichi:

I wish when I smoked cigarettes I could exhale nihilism like that gif-person seems to be doing. Hello Faye and other Children!
  9:08pm Phillip (Brooklyn):

A Saturday night without you faye is unthinkable! None of us knew what to do when you weren't here last week
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:08pm Faye:

Hi everybody! Glad to be here
Swag For Life Member 9:10pm 12539:

That's the quintessential blase smoking adolescent for the last, what, 65 years?
  9:11pm Eli:

Hi Faye! Hoping for Morrissey
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:11pm Faye:

  9:13pm Ahmad:

Oh hey I played that Animals and Men track on my show once!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:14pm Faye:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:21pm Faye:

i don't know that's a good question
Avatar 9:22pm yukamichi:

Not for another few hours.

...Hello Children indeed...yes we were...

One does look forward to this program. Oh yes.

@l.mark: Oh yeah ! Tonight ! Thx...I have so many Clocks !!...

Avatar 9:28pm listener mark:

once you mess with the little knob on the gizmo, no telling what will occur
  9:28pm Ahmad:

Anyone else catch Slowdive on this tour? Breathtaking.
Avatar 9:31pm JakeGhould:

Is it that time of year where we—as a society—move our clocks to the other side of our home?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:36pm Fuzzy:

Well, if you're here, and I'm here, doesn't that make it OUR time?
Avatar 9:36pm listener mark:

@JakeGhould no this time of year we tickle the little knob and hold on
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:36pm Tome:

at 2am 11/2 it will be 1am ..
  9:37pm Phillip (Brooklyn):

Oh that sucks! No faye on a Saturday night?
  9:37pm Eli:

More new slots than a casino
Avatar 9:38pm JakeGhould:

Halloween is great if you are 12 years old or younger. Past that, bleagh…
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:39pm Tome:

my opinion ,, no trying to fingerpoint Halloween should be for kids and not overgrown "kids" behaving like mean spirited 12 year old,,,
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:39pm Siriusly:

Oh the politics - even at FMU. It's just too stressful
Avatar 9:39pm Kevlicki:

I love Halloween. Its non denominational and less about consumerism than most "holidays". Ive dressed up as a dead cop or over 10 years now. No need to get a new costume!
Avatar 9:40pm Kevlicki:

I also spent last night at home in Brooklyn with some food, port and my flatmates.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:41pm Siriusly:

I have always hated Halloween - as I hate all holidays
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:41pm Faye:

woohoo! sounds like a good one kev
Avatar 9:41pm map:

"autobody" -- the most beautiful word in the english language
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:43pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

- exactly ! : Holidays are too much pressure on One Day. I werk @ a Store. Forget it ! I relate a lot to the Yearly Cycle thang - but Society is messed up about it. Everybody's happy nowadays.
...Gettin' a feeling the New Schedule is gonna be sum diffrent - ? ...Faye *has* changed slots before...
  9:44pm Phillip (Brooklyn):

Well I'm sorry to disagree with Faye and the Halloween haters but I love Halloween and the month of October. I look forward to it all year long
  9:44pm Ahmad:

I have no beef with a holiday that enables me to see friends play in Cure and Adventure Time-themed Stooges cover bands.
Avatar 9:44pm yukamichi:

If I went to see them live, would that be like having an "autobody experience?"
Avatar 9:45pm JakeGhould:

I think that some point in the late-1980s/early-1990s suddenly there was a lot of weird macho culture popping up. Like look at pro wrestling & how goofy it was back in the aryl 1980s compared to later on. Which means I was in high school in 1986 and 100% nobody cared about doing anything for Halloween since it was a kid’s holiday.
  9:46pm cronbat:

No Faye on Saturday night?! We're gonna be seriously bummed.
  9:46pm Phillip (Brooklyn):

I don't care much for thanksgiving and Christmas or New Year's Day. When you live alone and all your family is gone who looks forward to family holidays when have none
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:46pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

@Ahmad: *Your* Halloween sounds kewl.
@JakeG.: They talk about America's Game going from bucolic Baseball to warlike Football, ferinstance (I hate Sport anyhow)...
@Phillip: Honestly? - Yeah.
Avatar 9:47pm JakeGhould:

Well, also Halloween used to be so goofy & cutesy with some edges of gore & horror. Now kid’s just dress like murderers. Period. No creativity.
Avatar 9:48pm listener mark:

We should all start a hermit society, with large gatherings of hermits, sharing "How To Be a Hermit" information.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:49pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

- the ♒Aquarian Age Dilemma ! : relating over not relating...
Avatar 9:50pm JakeGhould:

Yes, a gathering of hermits. We could all share rides to the hermit gatherings. And share tables. And create a system by which fellow hermits can keep in touch with one another.
  9:52pm Phillip (Brooklyn):

Who wants to be a hermit? I dorm want to be a hermit. When you look as hideos as I do you cant go into a singles bar and ask for as Diet Pepsi they laugh at you
  9:54pm Cooh John:

Too bad we cannot get an extra hour of Faye with the time change.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:55pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...i mean specifically: relating to people over the fact that none of you relates to people ; it's the crux of the Counter-Culture Paradox...
Avatar 9:56pm JakeGhould:

So with the time shift, tonight we get 133% whatever with Mary Wing right?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:57pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...Temporary Autonomous Zones - cetera cetera...
  9:58pm Ahmad:

My favorite Sebadoh era.
  10:00pm Ahmad:

Well, tied with the III era lineup.
Avatar 10:00pm listener mark:

We could take out advertisements in "Hermit!" magazine. I would suggest the July issue. That's the swimsuit edition of "Hermit!"
Avatar 10:00pm bobdoesthings:

good evening

I think T.A.Z. will more prevalent in not-so-distant future.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:47pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

I really liked that Spent. I've ☆ed all of these !
...Wish copyrights were such you could just Podcast - I'd be all about that. If you go - your service in delivering the fine quality 'Off-Kilter Pop' (to say nothing of cartoons !) will be missed - for real.
  10:50pm Eli:

Cool, indie, smart stuff!!!!
  10:58pm Ahmad:

Speaking of Taylor Swift, has anyone played any of that Aphex Swift thing on the air yet?
Avatar 10:58pm JakeGhould:

I will miss the scratchy indie of this show.

  11:31pm Ahmad:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:32pm Chop Scott:

I thank you Faye for the great show--Cheers!
Avatar 11:32pm JakeGhould:

Okay, Faye! if you are going away I need to know what this bed music is. Japanese commercial outro music?
Avatar 11:33pm JakeGhould:

Dax, sorry to hear about your situation.
  11:33pm Listener Schned:

What if 1 listener wants to hear Martha Argerich ? Does that bear any weight ? ps <3 your show, hope you stay on the schedule-
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:33pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Real hookwarms are very annoying. The band is much better than real hookworms.
Avatar 11:38pm JakeGhould:

Hookwarms sounds like an infomercial item… “Tired of cold hooks?” “When will the insanity end!” “No fear, Hookwarms™ are here!”
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:38pm BennettCap:

It means "entanglement" and it's Italian. The "g" is silent.
Would you play "What Difference Does It Make?" by The Smiths?
  11:39pm Eli:

Thanks, Faye! Morrissey IS a good person, everybody knows it
  11:40pm Ahmad:

And everything he's ever said about the British royals is dead on.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:53pm Ken From Hyde Park:

I gave my proofreader the night off. If we need to find Faye in the future, where to look? Look for the Astral Plane, of course.
Avatar 11:53pm JakeGhould:

Gonna get some mason jars to preserve these shows.
Swag For Life Member 11:54pm 12539:

Thanks, Faye!

Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:12pm Stevel:

Mostly catching you on archives these days. Must say, your shows are regularly spectacular, as are you Gifs.

Carry on!
  2:19pm gerold:

great show as usual! that hookworms song is cool, but I think the one you played is called "On Leaving" not "Radio Tokyo"...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:52pm Cooh John:

Like Stevel above me, catching up on all your spectacular shows on the archive. This entry is for 11/8/14 since there was no comment board. The show had some reverb in it and some jangle at the end. I like the sensitive side of you.
