Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:10pm DCE:

Fabio in the mornings? what a great way to wake up.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:13pm adrian in mpls:

  4:14pm Chris in Copenhagen:

Well, maybe it was 9am....
Avatar 4:15pm the glowing one:

Avatar 4:16pm the glowing one:

Avatar 4:26pm Cheri Pi:

I'm still uising Calibri!!!!!! Like a slave.
Avatar 4:27pm Cheri Pi:

C$, did he ever say how he met Marcia? I was called away during a crucial Q&A
Avatar 4:29pm the glowing one:

Zero Theorem wasn't so great, but it's ok.
  4:29pm ted:

Zero Therum..yes, saw it here in Canada a month ago. good...wouldn't say great...but good Gilliam. maybe...'really' good is more exact.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:29pm common:

heard from a few people that the gilliam flick was confusing and muddled. i dunno.
Avatar 4:29pm Cecile:

I don't think he did, but he made a point of saying that it was never just Jonny, but it was Jonny and Marcia.
Avatar 4:29pm βrian:

Fabio, you should crank up that Bodoni espresso machine and have a double.
Avatar 4:29pm Cecile:

Fripp is a great interview.
Avatar 4:30pm Cecile:

Now play Great Deceiver.
Avatar 4:30pm Cheri Pi:

What a teddy bear <3 When I get my next raise I'll start reading Wire again.
Avatar 4:30pm the glowing one:

His movies ARE confusing. Zero Theorem is actually less confusing that his 80s works.
Avatar 4:30pm Chris from DC:

Still my favorite Crimson here.
  4:30pm Standby:

The Fripper rawks!
Avatar 4:31pm Cecile:

I liked Time Bandits but that thing is held together with tape.
Avatar 4:31pm Cheri Pi:

he may sit on a stool the entire time but he doth rock.
  4:31pm ted:

Fabio. speaking of really, really good movies. Fassbinder's World On A Wire just watched and highly recommended if you or anyone else on the board has not seen it. 5 out 5 stars for sure.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:31pm Andrew Waterloo:

I have to switch to the digital only subscription for awhile.
  4:31pm V Priceless:

I suck at math, but at one point during Crimson in NYC last week, there were 3 drummers each playing with 2 pairs of sticks!
  4:32pm Yo Yo:

They played this at the Philadelphia Kimmel Center a couple of weeks ago. Those old guys can still play.
Avatar 4:32pm Cheri Pi:

Sometimes I think my liver is held together with tape.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:32pm adrian in mpls:

Fabio - a film friend of mine initially thought Zero Theorem was too derivative of Brazil. But, a few days later, was starting to revise his opinion and seemed to think there's still plenty to chew on.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:32pm common:

@glowing one: i haven't paid attention to the later films he's made. i'll give it a chance. love time bandits, but agree, cecile
  4:32pm V Priceless:

Killer track/record.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:33pm common:

vp: hell yea.
Avatar 4:33pm the glowing one:

„Fripp's definition of being sexy on stage was smirking a little“ I once heard in a documentary
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:33pm adrian in mpls:

Actually just watched "Adventures of Baron von Munchausen" the other day -- it's a fun, glorious mess. It made me laugh, it made me cry. Time Bandits, though -- I'm a sucker for that film.
  4:34pm Yo Yo:

He almost smile twice
Avatar 4:36pm Cecile:

damn. John Dyer Baizley comes up to Minneapolis periodically to work with a screenprint studio less than a mile from my house. :/ I think I'm writing my History of Graphic Design final paper on him.
  4:37pm celworx:

I concur with the comment mentioning Fassbinder's "Man on the wire". Where can I find the Fripp interview?
  4:37pm ted:

King Crimson are so.....so....ooooo...so dam precise!
Avatar 4:38pm Cheri Pi:

I want to read your final paper.
  4:39pm ted:

celworx...'WORLD on a Wire" Just a fabulous movie.
Avatar 4:40pm steve:

ver few things compare to the Mellotron in I Talk to the Wind
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:40pm Andrew Waterloo:

Sounds like someone is banging on PVC pipe. Must be Neubauten.
  4:40pm celworx:

The worst thing about recent King Crimson shows is the audience.
  4:41pm nic:

love this !!!!!!!
Avatar 4:41pm Cecile:

it's going to be really short. Only 4 pages. I'll probably do a quick and sloppy comparison to Mucha and Pushead, over and out.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:41pm common:

good call, andrew.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:43pm Andrew Waterloo:

I have a soft spot for the Night Music (I think?) performance of Elephant Talk.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:43pm Andrew Waterloo:

I'm a refugee of Neubauten.org
Avatar 4:44pm Cecile:

I love that stupid Discipline album like it's my own child.
Avatar 4:45pm Cecile:

I should stop looking at John Baizley prints when I'm in a bad mood. I just quit art forever three times in the last ten minutes.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:45pm Andrew Waterloo:

That particular Crimson video is proof that 80s fashion was workable.
  4:46pm Standby:

I heard "Man on a Wire is very good. Have cominb from netflx
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:46pm adrian in mpls:

@Cecile - I feel the same way about Discipline! That was my King Crimson gateway.
Avatar 4:47pm βrian:

@Standby: It made my palms sweat.
Avatar 4:47pm Cecile:

not quite mine, but it was the album that really hooked me.
Avatar 4:48pm still b/p:

I stumbled on one of Mucha's major contemporaries recently and had to bring the fat Koloman Moser book home from the library. Oh, great stuff.
Avatar 4:48pm Sem Chumbo:

Love my FMU Panter T-shirt, and this interview w/ him:www.theparisreview.org...
  4:49pm ted:

'Man on a Wire' is the documentry about the guy who walked across the twin towers on a tight rope. 'World On A Wire' is a sci-fi thriller from 1973 kind of in the vain of Alphaville by Godard.
Avatar 4:49pm Cecile:

yeah, I'm looking forward to getting dug into the research.
  4:49pm Standby:

@ Brian--ueah that makes sense. Maybe I should have some sedatives nearby.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:49pm Andrew Waterloo:

RE: reminds of my Constellation Records binge.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:50pm Carmichael:

Back from a stinking Thursday afternoon meeting. Fabius Interruptus.

This talk about Crimson, I know Fripp's sister in a professional capacity. She's a motivational speaker/process improvement kinda person.
Avatar 4:51pm Cecile:

That's kind of cool.
  4:51pm ac:

this show is slaying today just ya
Avatar 4:52pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:53pm Carmichael:

Just an odd coincidence. Not a name you hear everyday.
Avatar 4:53pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

That wasn't an accusatory social observation, but more like a really elegant-yet-savage click.
Avatar 4:53pm Cheri Pi:

it was very classy of you, I thought.
  4:55pm Standby:

I dig.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:55pm Carmichael:

Rev, stick your pinky finger out while clicking.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:56pm common:

klik! no so classy, but i mean it.
Avatar 4:59pm Chris from DC:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:00pm Guido from Cologne:

I wanted to re listen to that Michael Chapman agein, but i got stuck here ... is it the fault of crimson, Neubauten or Kuupuu?

Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:10pm Guido from Cologne:

I own a KuuPuu-LP which I boughtjust for the cover, not knowing what it is.
  5:11pm josh:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:20pm northguineahills:

Avatar 5:26pm Cecile:

Avatar 5:33pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

This yay this.
Wobbling chewing desk to a pulpy particle-board stew. Caverns of optic nerve blossoms DEAR HELL, man, where are my dark-chocolate covered espresso beans?

Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:41pm Mike East:

I've got some espresso beans here, but no chocolate...and no coffee maker either.
show has been really enjoyable today. Thanks, Fabio!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:43pm northguineahills:

@Cecile: It went fine, and was less painful then I expected. b/tn looking for a job, interviewing, and getting crap tons of paperwork done for her visa change, I've been rather absent from the comments board. Thanks!
