Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:23pm coe:

This set has been so cool and Christpunchers has to be one of the greatest bands name to ever exist.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:24pm coe:

Kind of doing drive by board check in today.
Avatar 12:25pm Claw!:

"Christpunchers" was one of the biker gang names from the Simpsone. You can thank Moe Szyzlak for that one!
Avatar 12:25pm conkrete_dawg:

@coe: ditto on Christpunchers
Avatar 12:26pm Claw!:

Although if I have a daughter, I may have to name her "Simpsone" in tribute.
Avatar 12:28pm Cecile:

Moe fricking rules.
  12:29pm r i s k y:

Yeah Diane!!!
Avatar 12:30pm Claw!:

@Cecile - Is he your favorite character?
Avatar 12:33pm Claw!:

Avatar 12:33pm Cecile:

Avatar 12:36pm conkrete_dawg:

Christpunchers, meet Hellchild, spawn of Jesu
Avatar 12:37pm Claw!:

I appreciate those choices. :) I like to ask people that. I think you can learn something about someone's sense of humor and/or personality by finding that out.
Avatar 12:37pm Cecile:

Avatar 12:41pm Cecile:

yeah, I'm kind of verbose yet hapless.
Avatar 12:42pm Claw!:

I love Jasper and Hans Moleman. I'm not sure what that says about me... I guess I identify with awkward old dudes somehow.
Avatar 12:49pm V Priceless:

woo! Kid Congo! Craziest Cramps gig?
Avatar 12:49pm Cecile:

Ha! I took the Simpsons test, and I am Lisa. hahahah
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:51pm common:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:57pm common:

Avatar 12:57pm Claw!:

Shit. Just realized that should have been spelled with a K instead of a Qu. I failed myself. :(
Avatar 12:57pm V Priceless:

any NY/metro peeps get to last week's Brownout gig @ Brooklyn Bowl? Sadly, I did not!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:57pm Andrew Waterloo:

Avatar 12:58pm conkrete_dawg:

Nativity in Black or Name in Blood according to Wiki
Avatar 12:59pm V Priceless:

I know it's not "New In Box"!
Avatar 12:59pm Claw!:

  1:00pm Uninformed:

Just saw that it's BROWN Sabbath. Duh.
Avatar 1:01pm Cecile:

they have Quik-e-Marts here, it's definitely after the Simpsons.
Avatar 1:01pm Claw!:

"Brown Sabbath" is how I will start referring to my bathroom breaks at work.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:03pm coe:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:04pm coe:

@claw! HAHAHAHA!
Avatar 1:04pm Claw!:

I wonder if they had to spell it with a "Qu" to avoid litigation from Kwik-E-Mart's corporate office.
Things that make ya go "hmmmm..."
Avatar 1:05pm Cecile:

Yep! they did
Avatar 1:05pm Claw!:

@coe - phew! glad that one went over well... i was expecting some groans from that one. ;)
Avatar 1:06pm Cecile:

And an antelope is part of their logo. Thiink Somali guys own it, or someone who thinks antelopes are way fast.
Avatar 1:07pm Cecile:

Sorry, Kuik - e- mart
Avatar 1:08pm Claw!:

Seriously?? "Kuik"???

  1:28pm honest dawn:

slipknot is way better than voivod
Avatar 1:28pm Claw!:

hahaha! Well, if it's any consolation, I played it over the store system and someone bought it! He was pretty stoked (obviously). I NEVER see their stuff come through, really, so it was a rare find for sure. :)
  1:28pm Rory:

I love music from the early 70's.
Avatar 1:28pm Claw!:

Honest Dawn. whoa. Easy there.
Avatar 1:28pm V Priceless:

Avatar 1:29pm InBrkly:

I think honest dawn might be Clay in disguise
  1:29pm Rory:

I use to like Slipknot.... when I was 12.

  1:30pm pierre:

(On the bike) enjoy the Dust thing a lot.
Avatar 1:31pm Claw!:

Dust! Sweet, sweet Marky Ramone.
Avatar 1:32pm Cecile:

Speaking of record stores, I got my copy of Hard Attack for fifty cents in Marquette, MI. Nobody wanted it, not even for the artwork.
Avatar 1:33pm V Priceless:

I "Pledge" Allegiance to Dust!
Avatar 1:33pm Cecile:

I myself had priced it at $10 back in Ann Arbot at my old job, and it pretty much flew out the door when we had copies.
  1:33pm Dean:

Needs moar Marc Bell.
Avatar 1:33pm MenfussMike:

Richie Wise of Dust fame produced the first 2 KISS albums
Avatar 1:33pm Cecile:

Avatar 1:34pm V Priceless:

@ Menfuss - good call!
Avatar 1:35pm Cecile:

For sure, I bet it was some Air Force guys desperate for money, and store clerks that didn't know what they were getting.
  1:35pm grove dweller:

Most things on Kama Sutra and Buddah I like.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:35pm chris:

Crank line on my breakfast plate... Damn, that's hardcore.
Avatar 1:36pm Claw!:

Yeah, that's basically the perfect storm for finding great shit hella cheap. I love when that happens.
  1:38pm grove dweller:

I'm probably not the only one wishing for Meshuggah right about now.
Avatar 1:43pm Cecile:

this Subarachnoid is pretty cool, tell me more about it.
Avatar 1:44pm MenfussMike:

I saw subarachnoid in a little club called Barristers late 90's i guess. it sounded like this mess...which is a good thing.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:45pm Stevel:

Someone say Meshuggah?
  1:46pm grove dweller:

YESSSSS!!!!!!!!! Thanks Diane
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:47pm Stevel:

This set could even lead to Ministry. Not so much a suggestion as liking the heavy rhythmic vibe.
  1:48pm grove:

This is frying my stirrups. Love it!
  1:49pm A.J.:

as long as it's the FIRST ministry album, it would be great.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:49pm coe:

I got lucky for a while there when I was living in STroudsburg PA they have a local with a killer dollar bin. YOu tell it consisted of a lot of attic and basement cleaning. Made some great finds. Lenny Kaye is known to shop there quite a bit and pick up some nuggets (no pun intended)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:50pm Andrew Waterloo:

Strapping Young Lad perhaps?
Avatar 1:51pm Claw!:

Did someone say "rhythmic metal"?
Sounds like a job for JUDAS FUCKING PRIEST.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:06pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Dr. Seuss has been in the news lately. They published some material they found somewhere. His death anniversary is coming up, so maybe it's a good time for a Dr. Seuss reading?
Avatar 2:06pm dale:

Avatar 2:07pm Claw!:
