  7:19pm Phillip In Brooklyn:

A few short minutes and we will be on total darkness.
  7:20pm Phillip In Brooklyn:

How I enjoy the setting sun and the coming of night:)
  7:20pm P-90:

OK: dirty hippies covered in pizza under purple-blue clouds, the story thus far
  7:21pm Phillip In Brooklyn:

I count the day to "fall back" when we set the clocks back and the sin sets at 5pm
  7:24pm Phillip In Brooklyn:

What can I say:) the vampire goth in me loves the night:-)

Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:26pm steve:

whatta we got? 8 weeks til daylight savings?
  7:26pm P-90:

I like "...the sin sets a 5pm", very poetic, if unintentional
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:27pm Daniel Blumin:

Hallo, all! p-90 I was thinking the same thing.
  7:28pm P-90:

Jim Morrison would have used that lyric
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:28pm Daniel Blumin:

Tix coming up to Bunker night feat. Ulysses, Demdike Stare, Andy Stott, etc. Stay tuned!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:28pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

[...still in Neil voice] : ...you have to let it set, man - it's no good if it's not even a little hard...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:30pm Davis:

oh, good track this ullysses
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:32pm íkє:

Isn't the *sin* supposed to RISE at 5 p.m.?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:33pm Andrew Waterloo:

Yah but Jim Morrison would say something like "at 5pm we'll setting of the sin, and with you baby I'll be in"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:35pm steve:

Demdike + Andy Stott at the Bunker 2 or 3 years ago was one of the heaviest "dudes sitting in front of laptops" shows ive ever witnessed.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:37pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Inevitable, guns.

@steve; the audience or the band?!
Avatar 7:38pm phil:

Good evening Daniel and all the people in Bluminland!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:42pm cklequ:

Is this new Zeek Sheck?

Been waiting for this.......
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:43pm Daniel Blumin:

Yah, this is the new one - an LP with short nuggets and then this monstah!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:43pm steve:

haha P-90 - the music! DS that night played what i described to a friend the next day as "the best music i've ever heard" which was droning slow beats under the most massive noise blast going through an extremely sharp filter cutting the sound in and out and making these gruesome psuedo melodies. sadly they never released that material. id buy 5 copies and hand them out in the street.
Avatar 7:44pm Mayuko:

@steve I can't tell if heavy dudes sitting in front of laptops is a good thing or a bad thing. Should I go see?

That seasons track earlier was fantastic!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:45pm steve:

pure unrelenting goodness Mayuko. they're one of my favorites tho, i buy everything they put out, and go see them every chance i get in the city.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:45pm Andrew Waterloo:

Demdike is on my want to see list.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:47pm Jack Mello:

  7:52pm P-90:

@steve: Here I go dating myself, but I recall seeing Tangerine Dream on tour, back then they had these three huge consoles onstage with blinking lights, patchbays, etc. to play their stuff live. Now a wafer-thin battery-operated laptop can do everything those behemoths could do and much more, better and easier...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:52pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...a Cloud in Russia, Phillip ??...storing all my nekkid photos there as we speak...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:53pm Daniel Blumin:

Phillip, I think I'll wait till the Russians start including free liters of kvass! Steve, think I might've been at that show myself... Hallo, Jacques! Are you doing the appropriate tanz?
  7:53pm P-90:

@PhilLip: Yeah, I've got some hot cellphone vids of me and my girlfriends, need a safe place to park those...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:54pm Daniel Blumin:

You go Rev! Distract them from the tanking...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:54pm íkє:

That's the KGB, I bet. I'd rather be drowned in Russian lingonberry jam and Khrenovina sauce or beaten w/sacks of frozen pelmeni.
  7:55pm P-90:

@ RevRab; OK, you went there first....shoulda known...
  7:55pm Phillip In Brooklyn:

I won't be storing anything like porn on the 20 accounts I just created! I need the space for all my downloaded podcasts and music
  7:58pm P-90:

They should include a liter of kvass AND lingonberry jam and Khrenovina sauce. And a Junior KGB agent set with badge, decoder ring, and disguise kit
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:59pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...hopefully named 'Natasha'...
  7:59pm P-90:

And a Vlad Putin chest razor.

  8:08pm Carmichael:

all great picks so far, I'm in synth heaven right now

Thanks, B Z & dk! Hallo, Mayuko and everyone who I've missed up above. Agreed TDK!
Avatar 8:34pm doca:

Hi, Daniel Blumin and listeners. Great show today, as usual
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:36pm Daniel Blumin:

Thank you, Doca!!!!!!
Avatar 8:40pm doca:

The drums on this track sounds like the heavy synth stuff that was played before. Nice to hear resemblances among so different "genres"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:42pm Cliff:

Hello Daniel, glad to have time to listen to your show again.
Swag For Life Member 8:43pm 12539:

Time for the occasional musical numbers.
Avatar 8:44pm TDK60:

Slight Bowie influence with H.C.?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:44pm Uncle Michael:

I never paid serious attention to Hot Chocolate until Urge Overkill covered this song.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:46pm Ken From Hyde Park:

I've now heard three Hot Chocolate songs. The two that commercial radio has ever played and now this one. Good deal!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:46pm Uncle Michael:

I'd say not really to the Bowie question. If you listen to all their hits, chronologically...and in the UK, that's a LOT of hits...you'll hear that they're more of an r'n'b/pop/rock band.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:47pm Daniel Blumin:

Hallo, Cliff!!! Yes, 12539! I shoulda played the Sisters of Mercy version, Uncle M. Hola, Ken!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:47pm Uncle Michael:

In the UK, I believe they've charted in more consecutive decades than any other band.

Hi Daniel.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:53pm steve:

this is awesome. great show as always DB!
Swag For Life Member 8:57pm 12539:

A Yes mood? Does that mean lots of sidelong progressive rock tracks?
  8:58pm P-90:

How cool that Pere Ubu has a new album?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:59pm Ĩkє:

Yes?! NO!
Swag For Life Member 8:59pm 12539:

Muchas merci, Monsieur Blumin.
  8:59pm P-90:

Arigato, Brumin-san
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:52pm Daniel Blumin:

Thanks, Steve, Papa 12539, p-90, Ike for the image of being beaten with frozen sacks of pelmeni, the silent earrorists and you, the intrepid archivist! See ya'll in two...
