Favoriting Seven Second Delay with Andy and Ken: Playlist from September 3, 2014 Favoriting

-жеи's avatar View -жеи's profile Favoriting

The program formerly known as Dinner at Andy's, The Fuzzy Glove Hour, Whores, and The Happiness Hut. Ken and Andy, also known as The Enema Boys, further lower WFMU's already abysmal standards on a weekly basis. Stunt radio which subjects the radio audience to concepts and topics which mature adults should not have to endure. Find the fatal flaw. (Visit homepage.)

Listener comments!

Phillip In Brooklyn:

stop listening? are you serious! i am a seven second delay junkie
Phillip in Brooklyn:

I am hooked on the show! I can't wait for Wednesday to roll around so I can hear Ken
Phillip in Brooklyn:

Count me for being a loyal listener! I love the show too much
Avatar 🚂 6:09pm

What reason for tuning the show out could be better than `I've been listening to it.'?
Ryan B:

I would love to continue listening, but I need to leave to go home.
Avatar 🚂 Swag For Life Member 6:11pm

I'll admit that i left the show early for the past three weeks. Is a trainwreck an acceptable excuse for leaving?

It can't be a coincidence that earlier today i was listening to the archived "Lowering The Bard" episode from 2003, where they asked listeners to do exactly what they're asking now.
Phillip In Brooklyn:

the only way i could stop listening is if the battery on my on my 3 ipod touches were to die all at the same time

Mr. Machine:

I have a confession. I stopped listening t your show back in October to to the fact I had a car accident while listening to the October 30, 2013: Playing with Andy's Twitter Account. I was laughing so hard I rear ended someone at 60 MPH and cause a 3 car pileup. I broke my finger and blamed you guys for everything. I now realize I was at fault. I should not have been laughing while driving and I am now back as a full time fan. Sorry for the inconvenience. - Rob S.
Phillip In Brooklyn:

Tons of Toys in Wyckoff?!?!?! Used to go there as a kid.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:14pm
Marcel M:

The pathetic thing is every Wed around 6:30 I have to leave for rehearsal, and I walk with my phone to my ear listening till I get to my car even though its usually only a few blocks away or right outside..
Avatar 6:14pm

Marcel we may have had this conversation before but what town did you grow up in?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:15pm
Marcel M:

Steve, I don't believe we have actually. I grew up in Franklin Lakes, you?
Avatar 🚂 Swag For Life Member 6:16pm

@Nick They had you confused with some guy called "Shakespeare". Whoever the hell that is.
Avatar 6:16pm

Allendale. i went to crazy people school (Barnstable Academy) in Franklin Lakes.
Phillip In Brooklyn:

does anyone know what the name ''phillip'' means? its greek for ''fond of horses'' im agine the whole school knowing that back in 1980
Avatar 6:16pm

(Wow, i never thought abt that: ken can see # of listeners streaming specific wfmu programs. Holy arbitron, batman!). Can i leave the show early? I'm seeing Dave Hill at union hall. And i can try and pick up chris' kid.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:17pm
Marcel M:

Oh cool. I know that town. Is that High School? I also went to a crazy person school, Don Bosco... In Ramsey.
Avatar 🚂 Swag For Life Member 6:17pm

Of course during that show they were also asking listeners just tuning in to call in and ask for "permission to come aboard".
Avatar 🚂 Swag For Life Member 6:18pm
Nick the Bard:

oh, that listener that went back in time and tried to sully my good name back in the 1400's or whenever. stupid people with time machines...

I'd like to keep listening to the show but there are 2 guys who are threatening my life if I don't turn off the show. One has a gun and the other keeps saying something about "beheading" - Sorry, Gotta go.
Avatar 6:19pm

yep, went to high school there. Don Bosco, yikes! ah, Bergen County.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:20pm
Marcel M:

Oh yes brings back memories! haha. I fled to NYC right after High School.

A website address that looks like 'Unclean DY Toys" - what could go wrong?!
Phillip In Brooklyn:

i had a lady teacher who did speed, and she almost killed her twin daughters when she fell asleep driving to work one day

Hair grease on american flag? Betsy Ross is saying f-word (not Tourette related)

Chris from Edgewater, I was not granted permission to turn off the show to pick up my child from daycare. Unfortunately I did not listen, however I have just arrived home and have turned the show back on. I apologize for having disobeyed Ken and Andy.
Avatar 6:33pm
John McCabe:

do you have to ask permission to fall asleep while listening?
Avatar 6:35pm

Anyone follow this?

Avatar 6:44pm

That reminds me of the following anecdote: when I was a teen I volunteered for blacklist records in sf, a volunteer run distributor of indy label records. On my first day, the first thing I noticed was that the manager, brian edge, was using an american flag as a carpet protector at his desk. I thought "man these guys are hardcore!" and I was a little nervous....
Gee Lampa:

If I write a story called "Faulkner's Driveway", can you get your head around that?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:47pm

I found the hard way in high school, that it's a bad idea to play a barefoot pickup game of soccer in a paved parking lot. I lost a lot of skin off the bottom of my feet.

Ken From Hyde Park:

My daughter was making some candles and spilled wax on my asphalt driveway recently. What's the best way to clean up the candle wax? I suspect setting it on fire is a bad idea.
