Welcome, Fred. Thanks for sticking around and/or tuning in
Avatar 6:09am Sem Chumbo:

Ah, this is very fine indeed. Good morning, Nate, and fred.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:10am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

RichardThompson's coming to my town again ! : D
...It's not complete desolation...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:10am Nate K:

Morning, Sem. Thanks as always for tuning in.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:12am Nate K:

You, too, Mr. Revo Rabbit. Saw Thompson a few years back. Still puts on a good show.
Avatar 6:21am Nadine Duchamp:

Hi! Love the pic of aliens! And the music! Nice juxtaposition to Jonathon ;-)
Avatar 6:23am Nadine Duchamp:

Hello fred, Nate K, Sem RRN63 and all the well-mannered listeners who don't clutter the chatterboard with chatter
Avatar 6:26am Nadine Duchamp:

I love it, tho, please chatter if you want.
Avatar 6:28am Sem Chumbo:

Getting a real Music from Big Pink feel from these spins, Nate. Diggin' the calm.
Avatar 6:29am Nadine Duchamp:

Avatar 6:31am Nadine Duchamp:

more like sunshine nuclear bomb!
Avatar 6:31am Sem Chumbo:

Maybe not so much this Euphoria, or as a sheep cheese making friend would have it, Ewephoria.

Avatar 6:35am Nadine Duchamp:

Sorry about the not seeing the comments earlier. I swear they did not show up on my...feed?
Avatar 6:38am Nadine Duchamp:

A nice and good waltz!
  6:39am countrydave:

Enjoying the music in Saskatchewan.
Avatar 6:55am Nadine Duchamp:

Hello countrydave!
Avatar 7:06am Nadine Duchamp:

But it's always good to have some alone time, sometimes
Avatar 7:09am Nadine Duchamp:

Its weird to be a wife. But I very much love my husband too. But he has his thing and I have mine, I guess, and thats the way we like it...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:10am Nate K:

Country Dave, thanks for joining in! What's the weather like out there?
Avatar 7:14am Nadine Duchamp:

No, actually, I wish he were listening to this show and commenting too, hahah, but f*** it, you know, I can't wait for the man to catch up with me and my exquisite tastes
Avatar 7:20am Nadine Duchamp:

Just kidding, he has great taste. He has normal sleep schedule, too. But he is gone to far away this weekend. So I go back to night owlishness, with prodjekts, cofee and pancakes with bbrries. I have had many years of just avoiding actual real talk because of weird society stuff
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:21am Stanley:

Jeez, that Monty Hall place is getting some good action.
Makes me want to move to New Jersey.
Avatar 7:21am Nadine Duchamp:

Thanks, with the great tunes, yo!
Avatar 7:23am Nadine Duchamp:

Theres so many live shows to catch on wfmu, for those of us who can't be there.
Avatar 7:25am Nadine Duchamp:

Why do we like the Rolling Stones so much?
Avatar 7:25am Nadine Duchamp:

I feel like a laughing hyena
Avatar 7:33am Nadine Duchamp:

Gosh, so sorry. Mary Wing gets me all wound up.
Avatar 7:35am Nadine Duchamp:

Wow, this is from 2014? Encroyable
Avatar 7:39am Nadine Duchamp:

They have some pritty weird lyrics and dare I say it, hahah
Avatar 7:39am Nadine Duchamp:

Mysogynistic, but that was typical
Now its all gone!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:49am Nate K:

Hi Nadine! Thanks for tuning in.
Avatar 7:49am Sem Chumbo:

Thanks, Nate, for a red-hot start to my day. See you next Sunday morning!
  7:56am John:

Avatar 8:03am Nadine Duchamp:

I'm here. What a sexy ole' song! DC, yeah!
Avatar 8:04am Nadine Duchamp:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:04am Nate K:

See you next week Sem!
Avatar 8:04am Nadine Duchamp:

Hey Sem, is Sem short for Seminal?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:04am Nate K:

What did I say, Nadine? Don't scare me!
Avatar 8:07am Nadine Duchamp:

WHat did I scare you? Yikes! srry! I'm trying to learn maners...
Avatar 8:08am Nadine Duchamp:

Dont wanna scare the DJ! No!
Avatar 8:09am Nadine Duchamp:

honestly, well, maybe for fun now n then, but I didnt mean to cause any hair-raising emotions
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:17am Stanley:

(that's better - got my shades on)
This Owen Maercks record really appeals to my ridiculous notion of taste.
Avatar 8:18am Nadine Duchamp:

Mine too!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:21am Stanley:

Nadine - that's good.
Sometimes, I feel so, so...... alone.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:23am SeanG:

looks like Graham Greene in that picture
Avatar 8:23am Nadine Duchamp:

Here's how I feel (as if you wanted to know more)
Haahaaaa I have no control, sorry. I wonder how many people are listening right now and where are they from? I wonder if anyone is mad at me?

But yeah I have a few things, one is that I do get 8 hours a day of sleep but usually at teh wrong time of day lately, plus I chant, which makes you feel more close to the essence of life, plug in to el universe and go, and also I eat superhealthy, and smoke pot and tobaco and drink coffee, lots of water, and take vitamins, and I ride a bike, so have all this energy, at weird times. Used to drink a lot and other things later, but stopped all that in 2004. I'm taking all the toxins out of the equation in less than a week, because I can’t take the toxins anymore at all, so forgive me if I seem a little bonkeroonie-loonie-tooney. But I might never be able to sit down at a laptop again for a while. Now you know everything about me and I am just an idiot, I know, oh wow, this is one of my all time favorite songs!!
  8:26am ans:

just tuned in from the netherlands.
just saw what I missed ;-(
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:27am Stanley:

Nadine, you sound quite normal, to me.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:27am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...I just wanna compliment the playlist again this week...don't wanna be a pest !...
Avatar 8:30am Nadine Duchamp:

Welcome ans from the Netherlands!
Stanley-Really? Thanks!

RRN63 - After my rantings, you cannot possibly be considered a pest, am sure...

This is sort of like a more interactive form of binge-watching tv, or binge listening/commenting I suppose.
  8:33am ans:

no, you don't like this nate!!
(at least I hope you don't.....)
  8:33am ratty:

it grates.. is it barry m? no, no,no
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:33am Stanley:

Nate - I see where you're coming from.
I think you really don't know whether you like it or not.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:33am Nate K:

Thanks Revo Rabbit, always welcome! I appreciate it!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:34am Nate K:

This is definitely true Stanley, but I'm also just having some fun.
  8:34am Simon:

Yes. Because it reminds you of early Chicago.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:34am SeanG:

you do not like that song
  8:34am Kristie:

Thumbs up from Ben , thumbs down from me. A house divided! Vivian laughed...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:34am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...yeah - I see why you asked...I think you think it's got some interesting qualities but some cloying ones...I think...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:35am Uncle Michael:

No, Nate...you don't. It's way too derivative of Chicago Transit Authority and the vocal and the lyric aren't strong enough to get it over that hump. It was close, though. You should play it again...it might grow on you.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:36am Stanley:

We're on safer ground with this
Avatar 8:36am Nadine Duchamp:

yeah , that was a not great song, but so many others were frankly awesome
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:37am Stanley:

Hi Uncle Michael.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:38am Uncle Michael:

Hi Stanley.
Avatar 8:39am Nadine Duchamp:

Hi, Uncle M! Maybe American Sounds Lmited should just try to record that bad boy again.
  8:39am Sideshow Raheem:

Play it again? I wouldn't.
Avatar 8:41am Nadine Duchamp:

Not in its present form, no. It actually made me feel nauseaus
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:42am Uncle Michael:

Somehow I imagine their moment has past. The drummer died, the bass player is selling insurance in Cleveland and the singer retired as a junior-high vice-principal. No one can find the trombone player and he wrote all the charts. The rest of the guys have a pretty cool pldies band that's playing this Thursday at the Ramada, though.
Avatar 8:45am Nadine Duchamp:

UnlceM --Are you serious or are you pulling our legs?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:45am SeanG:

more CAJUN!
Avatar 8:45am Nadine Duchamp:

I thnk its great to be a whatever and a musician! I was always a something *and* a musician, since it didnt pay the bills.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:46am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...don't bother me they tryin' to be CTA - in fact the ambition for arrangement is what I admire - & even like the garagey NoHitWonder thing of it (why the ambition is notable - from there) - but lacking something...UM is so on it...& I hear why you played a Cajun after it...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:47am SeanG:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:48am Uncle Michael:

I'm pulling your serious leg, Nadine. I'll try pulling the facetious one.
Avatar 8:50am Nadine Duchamp:

Sometimes I dont have a facetious bone in my body!
  8:50am will:

Another brilliant show from the mind of Nate the K (not to be confused with Murray!). It will take a while to catch my beath....
Avatar 8:53am Nadine Duchamp:

This show has been amazingly wonderful! I will say it loudly!
Avatar 8:54am Nadine Duchamp:

My neighbors are pissed I'm screaming how great this show is
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:54am Uncle Michael:

I need to wake up on Sunday mornings more often. Great stuff, Nate.
Avatar 8:55am Nadine Duchamp:

He took us to a lot of places with the sounds
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:56am Stanley:

Yeah, what everyone said.
  9:57am Madi:

You don't like the Anne Marie song, you love it.
