I think someone needs to flip a switch or something. I don't hear any music.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Thu. 8/7/14 3:08am Ken From Hyde Park:

OK, there we go. Quiet sounds like air or bubbles moving. There was some noise in the background here and made it seem like dead air. All is well.

oh man this show is something alright
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Thu. 8/7/14 3:50am Santos L Halper:

This is wonderful stuff but i'm afraid my brainwaves are crashing near the shores of sleep. Cheers DJ micah!

Hiya, Micah.Good morning. Hey, the Matt!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Thu. 8/7/14 4:47am Matt from Springfield:

Good morning the Sem!

"A Thief in the Night is a 1972 Christian end times film produced by Russell S. Doughten." Yes, that is a genre of film, and apparently an older one than I thought. But THIS one, it has a Goodees-like pop song about it--it's the winner thus far!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Thu. 8/7/14 5:01am Matt from Springfield:

You're right--that was kind of like Harry Partch!

Terry Riley, another master composer of modern times.
Avatar    Thu. 8/7/14 5:08am Sem Chumbo:

What a set of pipes. Mickey Most spotted Reid early on. (What a set of ears, did Mickey have;-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member Thu. 8/7/14 5:11am Matt from Springfield:

@Sem: Set of ears, and sense of production! Particularly as I'm a Donovan fan, love the arrangements of his tracks!

(Obviously I thought Micah had said composer "Terry Riley"--though I like British singer Terry Reid as well. He was almost a "Robert Plant" after all :) Love the Isle of Wight fest 1970!)
Avatar Swag For Life Member Thu. 8/7/14 5:55am Matt from Springfield:

Good Southern Indian music from Karnataka.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Thu. 8/7/14 5:58am Matt from Springfield:

Thanks for an interesting show, Micah. Hope you enjoy your early early morning residency filling in for Julie!

Have a great Thursday everyone!
