Avatar 7:07pm dale:

every time i hear the mellotron opening of expecting to fly i'm expecting to hear the moody blues.
  7:08pm Carmichael:

Heya heyo Daniel and friends.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:09pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

[...erm - Ike - didn't get that...try the NumbersStation instead...]
- Oh - Hi everyone !
...in an ephemeral~wistful mood in the Krell Labs this eve?...the night is young...
Avatar 7:10pm TDK60:

@dale: Me too. Forgot what a big production it is. Neil created a mood! to say the least. Hi Ike/et al.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:13pm Daniel Blumin:

Greetz, Ike, Dale, Carm, RRN63, and TDK! That Fly production by Jack Nitzsche! And I should play the Moody Blues more often... and not just Melancholy Man!
Avatar 7:16pm Mayuko:

That Indonesian-sounding pentatonic scale of Filastine track was so nice to listen to in the summer evening.
Avatar 7:16pm jeff-m:

hey there. pretty stuff so far.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:17pm Fleep:

hi there. pretty far so stuff.
  7:18pm P-90:

Hi DJ Daniel and all Bluminimalists! Yeah, it's easy to disregard the Moody Blues but there's serious nuggage of worthy material in that catalog.
Avatar 7:19pm dk:

that hildur gudnadóttir track was, like, the best thing the cocteau twins never did. in iceland. awesome.
Avatar 7:20pm Mayuko:

I would definitely love to hear some Bluminimal music. Bluminimal techno etc.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:23pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...always thot Moodies like thee example of Psych trans to Prog
...& who says Psych must *always* be the screaming horrors (...much as I like that...worship Syd, &tc.)
...still waiting for the TwistedTribute band (as discussed in Clay comments) of Punk Moody Blues - the BluddyMuse...
  7:24pm Phillip.(Brooklyn):

Evening Daniel? I'm sorry about missing your last two shows
Avatar 7:25pm dale:

senor blumen - if you're a pinder fan play 'my song' sometime. freaking gorgeous.
  7:25pm Phillip.(Brooklyn):

The IFC channel is going to broadcast "the exorcist" at 8pm EDT New York City time
  7:25pm steve:

hey Daniel. a few days ago I went back and listened to the Thought Broadcast show from 2012. great set and interview that was.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:26pm Daniel Blumin:

Fleep! You. grammarian! Hallo, Jeff, Mayuko, and dk! Welcome to rattlin'! Phillip, I missed my last show too! So you are not alone! Thanks to Inner Ear Detour fer the fancypants fill-in aktion!
  7:26pm Phillip.(Brooklyn):

Some really sucky films on now. 400 channels and dog poo for movies!
Avatar 7:27pm Sem Chumbo:

I like popcorn for movies, but that's just me.
  7:27pm Phillip.(Brooklyn):

Man:-( $166 a month for 400 channels and maybe 5-6 movies a week worth watching! Poo:-(
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:27pm Fuzzy:

uTorrent is your friend (mine, anyways...)
Avatar 7:28pm Mayuko:

Now I'm seriously pissed at myself that I was late and missed Container @ PS1 yesterday. This is so good.
  7:29pm Phillip.(Brooklyn):

The public library caught wise to me using utorrent. Now I'm banned from all libraries in Brooklyn and queens:-(
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:30pm Fuzzy:

  7:30pm Phillip.(Brooklyn):

You can only eat ramen noodles and whatever leftover is kn hand so many days of the week for Christ sake
  7:31pm steve:

Mayuko - you didn't miss much, buddies who went said it was a bad vibe show with 500+ people ignoring the music and talking and checking their phones. you'll be better off catching him at a smaller venue.
  7:32pm Phillip.(Brooklyn):

Some one? Please send me a double quarter pounder with super size fries and a drink, I'm dying here for some real food:(
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:32pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Phillip: You obviously need to stop paying cable & give all your money to the nice Comcast people for Internet like I do...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:32pm cklequ interior:

Cancel those 400 channels...

My cat has been licking the windowsill all day and now she's sleeping on it with her eyes open. Who needs 400 channels when you've got entertainment like this everywhere you look.
  7:34pm Phillip.(Brooklyn):

I'm losing my mind today people!
  7:35pm Phillip.(Brooklyn):

I take 100mg of Abilify and I ran out Friday and my doc is on vacation:-(
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:35pm Fuzzy:

Lost mine a while back -- don't miss it all that much...
Avatar 7:35pm TDK60:

This Ekin Fil is kinda perty.
  7:35pm Phillip.(Brooklyn):

Do you believe it! I went to the ER and they wouldn't give me a prescription for my meds?
Avatar 7:37pm Mayuko:

Steve, I felt that too! Why would those bunch of people want to stand STILL talking/staring at their phones on the DANCEFLOOR!? There's plenty of other space to do that... I enjoyed Rrose, though. Then again would've been much nicer to hear him indoor with better sound quality too.
  7:37pm Phillip.(Brooklyn):

So good to hear your show on again Daniel. Hopefully it will calm my tormented mind
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:39pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...so - you want us to Enable you to Vilify them for not Enabling you to Abilify ?...
  7:40pm steve:

I my guess is it's the combination midday afternoon show plus non techno art world crowd? rrose is my favorite, but I had a feeling it'd be better to wait to see him again at the Bunker or similar event...
  7:40pm Phillip.(Brooklyn):

Your not supposed to stop taking Abilify. Because it's like heroine you suffer withdrawal symptoms. It says it in the pamphlet
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:41pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

I bad joke, Phillip. : )
Avatar 7:41pm dale:

don't know why anyone would pay for cable when you could stick an antenna on the roof and get all the locals, and get a roku box for everything else.
  7:43pm Phillip.(Brooklyn):

I'd get dish tv but my place doesn't gave a clear view of the sky where the satellite is:-( bummer
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:44pm fleep:

I got some Disabilify here. Works good, too.
Avatar 7:44pm dk:

loved that tobacconists track. and the segue into richard youngs was somehow perfect, even though it's from a completely different universe.
  7:47pm Phillip.(Brooklyn):

I'm going to call my docs private line. He's going to get really mad. But I don't care! I need my meds before go insane.
  7:47pm steve:

i'd like to announce i'm currently wearing my amazing new old stock Choking On Cufflinks shirt.
  7:48pm Phillip.(Brooklyn):

Daniel? Good mix of music for the first hour:-) it's helping it's really helping me
Avatar 7:48pm Mayuko:

Yah would be great if rrose plays again at the bunker, Steve. I hope that'll happen soon...
Avatar 7:49pm dk:

my choking on cufflinks shirts are falling apart. michael goodstein needs to come back for a season, just so's i can refresh my wardrobe.
Avatar 7:50pm phil:

Good evening, everyone! This sounds great, Daniel
  7:52pm steve:

dk - it was a marathon "prize warehouse" item, it's brand new! maybe they'll still have one for you next swagathon??
  7:52pm steve:

I mean, I just got it with this years swag. If that was unclear.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:54pm Daniel Blumin:

Thanks, Dale. Thanks, Steve! Glad you enjoyed it, Sire! dk, thx! My Choking tee is still in excellent shape - Goodstein gets an A fer quality clothingness - would be great if he were able to do a show from CA!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:59pm Jack Mello:

welcome back, dr. daniel. i'm inna techno mood too.
Avatar 8:02pm Mayuko:

Hello, Jack!
  8:05pm steve:

  8:08pm JarkyBoy:

Daniel u the man
  8:08pm Phillip.(Brooklyn):

I'm listening with the iPhone app
  8:09pm Phillip.(Brooklyn):

I don't have an iPhone I have an iPod touch
  8:09pm Yobs:

Hearing some awesome stuff Dan thanks for the dynamic contrasting selections
  8:10pm Carmichael:

Me too Phillip. Which partially explains my typing.
Avatar 8:10pm Looms:

Hello Daniel and everyone!
I didn't notice that your show started at 7pm on the new schedule, sorry I missed the first set.
  8:14pm Marmalade Kitty:

Avatar 8:18pm dale:

i use the radio waves. so old school. the mt. hope signal is actually super strong up here.
  8:19pm P-90:

Hi Looms and Marmalade!
  8:21pm Carmichael:

Hey Looms, how is France taking the World Cup results?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:24pm Davis:

i love my radio, but because all of the radio in england is shit i listen on the internet to stations in america such as this, and in the morning listen to radio 3 for half an hour which is depressing but the best option
  8:25pm Phillip.(Brooklyn):

I would listen by radio. But I can't stand static! And I like to know what song is playing so I can maybe buy it on iTunes
Avatar 8:25pm Mayuko:

Is this new Rococo Rot!?
Avatar 8:26pm Mayuko:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:26pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

I like a bit of BBC4Extra - & occasionally 6 - online of course. (Nice typing by radio, Dale.)
  8:26pm Phillip.(Brooklyn):

I'm just so spoiled on Internet radio:)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:26pm Jack Mello:

hey mayuko, what's up? btw, ps1 "warm up" is hardly ever a fun place to see a dj and dance, too much of a scene. like everything else in life, it was better "back in the day". :)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:27pm I.K.E. (Ice King Enterprises):

Speaking of radio waves, somebody (ahem) just tweeted reports on which Brooklyn pirate stations were on the air today interfering with non-commercial stations like FMU, WKCR, etc. @BkPirateWatch -- be sure to tweet your own reports to, uh, him (ahem) esp. if you hear ads or phone #s on pirate stations and ESPECIALLY be sure to spin the dial in Bklyn if you can understand Haitian Creole/French.
Avatar 8:27pm Looms:

@Carmichael: this result was an improvement compared to the previous world cup.
Avatar 8:28pm dk:

welp, even more psyched about the new To Rococo Rot now.
Avatar 8:31pm Mayuko:

@Jack Ha! That was my first try for the warm-up. and probably the last......
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:34pm Daniel Blumin:

Jack, you know how fickle moods are! Thanks, Steve! Will seek that out! Thanks, Jarky & Yobs (what a songwriting team you'd make!)... LOOOMS! Thanks fer tuning in whatever hour! MK! Hallooo! Yes, Mayuko, it is. Sorry fer the delayed communication...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:34pm Daniel Blumin:

dk, the album's very tasty!
Avatar 8:37pm dale:

davis - since fmu isn't a shortwave station that sort of dictates your web imperative. comes in nice and clear where i am, which is a bonus in the car and working outside or in the garage.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:38pm Davis:

i would love to tune in to a station like this on my radio
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:41pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

..even for local - I prefer the static-free stream - altho' totally Analog if they plays a rekkid : p ...
Avatar 8:42pm dale:

it's local fm for me - there is no static.
  8:42pm SeanG:

Deep Freeze Mice--that was awesome
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:42pm Davis:

radio is shit in this country though, so, internet only
  8:44pm Phillip.(Brooklyn):

Radio in New York City is worse than a pile of dog poo
  8:44pm Phillip.(Brooklyn):

FMU is the only station worth listening to
  8:47pm lulu:

Sorry but this song -
  8:47pm Phillip.(Brooklyn):

I'll never listen to commercial radio ever again!
  8:49pm Phillip.(Brooklyn):

Wow! 2 hours went fast:-(
  8:51pm Rooftop Party:

Great song Daniel!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:52pm Davis:
