Greetings, listeners! Happy Memorial Day! (unless you're memorializing, then it's not so happy)
Avatar 12:16pm

hi tamar and all. salut pierre.
i meet a bunch of new people in wfmuland today. is it cause it is bank holiday in north america ?
  Swag For Life Member 12:22pm

Tamar, that Breuer sounded more like a mambo than a mabo to me.

@ bibi: It's more than just a bank holiday the way you mean, it's one of the 5 "3-day weekend" holidays when everything comes to a standstill and almost everyone gets the day off, like even some FMU DJ's have today...
  Swag For Life Member 12:27pm

Picky, picky! Corrected.
Avatar 12:34pm

wow, les Surfs, sounds like grown ups on this one
Avatar 12:34pm

Salut Bibi !

"sah-zee-em lehsson"

I k e:

Hi Tamar! @Bibi, we don't have the term "bank holiday" in the U.S. That's a British-ism. Fortunately a few of us watch a lot of British TV, so we understand. :) But yes, P-90 got it right.
Avatar 12:47pm

I believe P-90's way is better
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:47pm

Bonjour Tamar et TLM...

OOPs, more like "SEE-zee-em", the first way I tried sounds more like "16th" than "6th"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:48pm

Always good to see you back, Tamar.

Is the album this is on called “Gun Hill Road” as well? I need to know.

Tamar... what a pleasure! Greetings from Los Angeles. xx
Avatar 1:00pm

you're right P90, although I still don't know as I suck with how to write sounds

I hear the tinkly bed music and leap for joy!
Tamar at the turntables, huzzah!

I thought this was Bryan Ferry singing for a moment. Just a moment.
Avatar 1:03pm

this is amazing, thank you!

Hi, Tamar. Hi, folks chillin' & grillin'.
Avatar 1:37pm

Still reeling from the wonder of that MAN ... AmeriCAN rhyme.
Peter K.:

This song was NOT written by "the" Ray Charles, I guarantee you. The Ray Charles who led the Ray Charles Singers, maybe. NOT the Ray Charles who sang "What'd I Say." Great show so far, by the way.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:39pm

Hi Tamar. I met you at the record fair, once, at this location, with Rich...so that's a long time ago, when you were at midnight. I carried records to a truck.(etc)
...alas i cannot volunteer this year.
Good to hear you again. Thanks for the history lesson.
