ok, rrg, what game should we change to? anything but monopoly, it takes too long.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:07pm common:

irwin. hello.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:08pm Michael:

Me: Spizzerinktum to blame for Teen Woes.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:08pm rrg:

"Ladies Grab Your Seats"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:09pm CockTails42:

nice to hear you elsewhere on the dial discussing Sun Ra, Irwin.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:10pm Parq:

Rex's oddities used to include a radio commercial for raisable chicks. In fact, I think it was on his "Ain't No Thing but a Chicken Wing" premium disc.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:10pm Irwin:

Thanks to Laura L for the spizzerinktum
  3:11pm Bubba:

Shout out to EVR. RIP as of Friday.
  3:12pm ?:

Chorus of this reminds me of the johnny's gun song by the urinals.
Avatar 3:12pm Snortley:

spizzerinctum - : the will to succeed : vim, energy, ambition
English dialect (U.S.) spizarinctum cash, specie, probably irregular from English specie.
Swag For Life Member 3:12pm sibeliuss:

yesss this storm bugs song is the best!
Avatar 3:14pm Droll:

How does someone properly thank another for SPIZZERINKTUM, especially when it's a surprise!
  3:15pm Robert:

In the 1st half of the 20th C., chicken was not exactly a delicacy, but a somewhat luxury form of meat, hence the interest in a lot of people in getting into the biz. Somehow since then they've made chicken farming a lot cheaper. Maybe the trick was clipping their beaks.
  3:16pm Laura L:

I think we can never know what happened that got the Chris-Cross BARRED. Did those Fall Broiler Chicks have a little too much High Livability, a little too much Spizzerinktum?
Avatar 3:19pm Droll:

LL, It's probably because they were wearing their pants backwards.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:21pm Parq:

No, more like Lighthouse.
  3:23pm Christopher Cross:

What? Barred? Again? Dammit!
  3:23pm Joe Bacon:

Yay!!!!! More Irwin!!!!
Avatar 3:23pm Droll:

Is the new schedule posted someplace?
  3:26pm Klang Assn:

Egads - Please put Bob away.Poor ole Rach is rolling in his grave.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:27pm AnAnonymousParty:

Has Bob done anything with Willie Nelson? Anything listenable, I mean?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:27pm Irwin:

Gang of Four cover.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:28pm Michael:

I didn't hate that Bob. He's certainly been heading in that direction for some time it seems.
Avatar 3:31pm Droll:

Michael, Have you heard Bob's recent Chrysler commercial? Some of his finest work to date.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:33pm Irwin:

"Lee" is you-know-who.
  3:36pm OTB:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:37pm Irwin:

"Art Blakey" is you-know-who.
Avatar 3:39pm Droll:

. o O ( It's like his left foot is a metronome )
  3:40pm OTB:

  3:45pm Stan Lee:

I know who I am.
  3:45pm Bruce Lee:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:46pm rrg:

Hey, I like that chlldren's album.
  3:46pm Ol Paint:

Irwin's Lee is usually Morgan.
  3:47pm blee:

Just finished reading The Viking of Sixth Avenue. It's a really good read, Moondog was an amazing man.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:52pm Parq:

Blee, I read that too. Incredible research, yeah? And what a finish -- every struggling artist's dream -- suddenly gain all the acclaim you ever thought you deserve.
  3:56pm Dean:

Wigwam, just beautiful. Pekka Pohjola played with Jukka Tolonen, too.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:57pm common:

agree with your 1st sentence there, Dean!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:00pm AnAnonymousParty:

Engineering question of the day: GPS vs. UTC - If you ask somebody what time it is and they tell you what time it is, do you know what time it is, what time it was or what time it may have been at some point in time?
  4:00pm Alison Porchnik:

dangerously close to Yacht Rock
  4:01pm Alison Porchnik:

Prog is the proto-YR. YR's bad-boy cousin, visiting from the city.
  4:01pm Morgan Faichild:

Avatar 4:08pm Droll:

Prog spawned Yacht Rock?! Surely you jest!
  4:08pm JakeGould:

Hello there!
  4:24pm Alison Porchnik:

Droll, I know nothing. I'm just repeating what my ears tell me.
  4:28pm ?:

Holy crap this is making me uncomfortable.
Why can't i shut it off?
  4:28pm JoeChrisMorris:

for a soul to get to another soul..

I don't think i've heard this Frank episode. Interesting stuff
  4:31pm Dean:

Re: prog = yacht rock. What? What do Yes,'s "Tales from Topographic Oceans," Pink Floyd's "St. Tropez," or PFM's "L'Isola di Niente" have to do with yachts?
Avatar 4:32pm Droll:

AP, Them ears is fightin' words! Where's the rapid tempo and key changes? Where's the 7-part album-side opus? Where's the Mellotron and extended flute solo? The only yacht prog is part of is cruisetotheedge.com
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:33pm Carmichael:

Vah-hee-va-la. Homeward, Sailor.
Vah-hee-va-la. Homeward, sail away.
Avatar 4:34pm Roberto:

That's not entirely true. Maybe if two people are similarly able-bodied I help the one I find more attractive first. But generally speaking I'd help the less able one. Or just not help at all.
  4:50pm Carlos:

this dude rules man. so good
  4:57pm Robert:

Unreliable narrator? He may have TAKEN it in a deprecating way.
  4:59pm Robert:

I alternated between feeling very sorry for this fictional character-narrator and thinking he deserved all the ill feeling he brought on himself.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:59pm fleep:

I missed Wordy McWordword? I will feign sorrow.
  5:01pm The_Brooklyn_Kid:

Irwin? Yes the stream cut out at least 4 times
  5:01pm Robert:

LOL at the bladder jape.
  5:01pm Joe Bacon:

I live in Los Angeles and this character sounds like the typical Santa Monica resident...
  5:01pm blee:

Streamed fine here in California.
Avatar 5:01pm Droll:

No problems over here. Hate buffering. Hate unbuffered even more.
  5:02pm The_Brooklyn_Kid:

  5:02pm Laura L:

Bufferin will give you an Excedrin headache.
  5:02pm blee:

Buffering is the worst!
  5:03pm blee:

Forced ads before choosen content is worse though.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:03pm rrg:

LL, of my generation, beats me to these lines all the time.
  5:03pm The_Brooklyn_Kid:

Infomercials! Are agents if the devil
  5:05pm blee:

Buttcracks are always humorous.
  5:05pm The_Brooklyn_Kid:

Any chance at a sneak peak of the FMU schedule for June on?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:09pm Greg from VA:

Having Evelyn Glennie follow Joe Black is like finally finding out what one unique sperm sounds like when it finds its prize in the womb of all possibilities.
  5:10pm ScottC:

no buffering trouble here - but I do have a slight tingling in my left hand...
Avatar 5:14pm Droll:

If you have buffering problems you may have low spizzerinktum. Ask your doctor if Damnitol is right for you.
  5:15pm The_Brooklyn_Kid:

For the last half hour no buffering. The tingling i feel in my fingers is neuropathy from my diabetes
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:18pm Carmichael:

Lotsa other Californians on the list, for once. No buffering issues on 128k for me. But then again, I took TriOpenin before the show.
Avatar 5:24pm V Priceless:

Hey Irwin! Cool Zero 7 cut!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:30pm fleep:

CRISSCROSS BREEDING of poultry consists of crossing two dif-
ferent breeds or strains to produce the Fi progeny, and subsequent
generations are produced by alternate use of males from the pure lines on the crossed pullets.

So. No mixed breed chickens. Chicken purity. Chicken Master Race. Chicken Supremacy.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:31pm rrg:

Good eatin'.
  5:38pm !.!:

This made me think of BIRD RADIO - a 1-man band that is active in London. And that I saw play once at the bottom of an empty swimming pool; boy was there a lot of free beer.
  5:39pm PMD:

So great to hear you live IRwin! HOpe all is well...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:41pm Irwin:

Hey, PMD. Sorry I'm short.
  5:48pm PMD:

  5:48pm PMD:

Um, Andy's butler looked an awful lot like you. Side job?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:49pm Irwin:

I am Andy's sock puppet.
Avatar 5:53pm Droll:

Sock puppet as in one of his new toy designs? Kids are going to love the Old Codger Sock Puppet, and parents are going to love the fact it has no small or sharp parts.

And I, for one, welcome our new chick overlords. They don't say "Tastes like chicken" for no reason.
  5:54pm ScottC:

strange… the tingling went away but now I have buffer t r ou bl e...
  5:56pm Laura L:

Thanks for a Well Finished show bursting with Spizzerinktum, Irwin.
