  12:05pm Frank Above:

The People's Champ bringd the sunshine with him! Nice one man!
Avatar 12:13pm Whooda:

Good to see the Sloths gather up some new energy. Sounds good.
Avatar 12:15pm Joe B:

Hi everyone! thanks for checking in!

you gotta see the sloths to believe how great they are!

yes, sun, maybe some premature summer tunes today!
  12:18pm Bluesman:

Jpe, Im outta touch with live shows - wheredya see Sloths? Ponderosa?
Avatar 12:19pm Joe B:

yes ponderosa, wish they would come out here!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:27pm KevinfromBayRidge:

Good noon to all in Belockland! Joe, Boistin' outta the gate with that first set!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:28pm mariano:

Brimstone Howl's from Omaha, good to know. Lived there for a few years way back in the last century, always liked the music scene there.
Avatar 12:31pm Whooda:

I don't do NSAFacebook so I am friendless :(
  12:32pm KevinWho:

Pittsburgh here. haven't seen `em yet, will soon!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:33pm mariano:

@Whooda: can't stand NSAFB, my mom just talked me into reactivating my account (because she can't figure out how to attach pictures to an email), and now everyone I've tried to avoid my whole life is starting to find me again. Ugh.
  12:34pm blee:

@Whooda I don't do Falsebook either. Nothing wrong with that.
  12:37pm Bluesman:

Used to vacation with my family at SSH in the late 70s/early 80s. After all the time spent on the boardwalk I never heard this whacky tune. I do remember winning BOOTLEG LPs at Union Jacks. Fun for an early teener!
Avatar 12:37pm Joe B:

don't understand why people get bent out of shape with facebook using your info. just give them false info! it's free fer chrissake.
Avatar 12:38pm Joe B:

yeah Blues! union Jacks! there was another record wheel for awhile called Benji's further north
12:38pm formerly known as the soundguy @ the Court Tavern:

ah, The Phantoms, thanks Joe!
  12:41pm Bluesman:

Oh yeah, remember that one too, sorta. I also bought a ton of bootlegs at a 5&10 cent/drug store just off the boardwalk, real cheap. Babysitting $$$ spent on vinyl of questioable legality. As they say, "GOOD TIMES."
Avatar 12:42pm Whooda:

@Mariano and @blee It took me two tries to pry myself free, after a short relapse now in NSAFB rehab and clean.

@Joe B Facebook actually cooperates with NSA in warrentless, dragnet surveillance of innocent users. Facebook tracks your activity even when you are logged out of Facebook. It is a serious issue in the larger picture.
  12:43pm Bluesman:

I am definately not getting any work done at this point.
Avatar 12:45pm Joe B:

well that can happen even without facebook. verizon, time warner etc all do it too unfortunately
Avatar 12:45pm HarktheUmpire:

Avatar 12:49pm Whooda:

@Joe Yes, is does happen regardless.
Avatar 12:49pm Sem Chumbo:

@Hark: thanks for clearing that up:)
Avatar 12:50pm Whooda:

@harktheUmpire That is a fortunate coincidence. Yes, a perfect acronym either way.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:52pm Parq:

Wait, the A-Bones are playing a ComiCon? Cool! Please tell me they're going to cosplay for the gig.
Avatar 12:52pm Whooda:

I'm proud that the man knows I listen to the subversive grooves on Three Chord Monte
Avatar 12:53pm HarktheUmpire:

@Sem & Whooda: Sure makes me see mariano's comments in a whole new light.
Avatar 12:55pm David Shortell:

A-Bones gig info:
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:58pm mariano:

@Hark: Huh? You mean about the people finding me -- seems more dramatic than I meant. I just meant old class mates, that sorta thing.
  1:01pm Figures of Light:

My Tuesday before work pickup!! Thanks for a great show!! FOL
Avatar 1:01pm HarktheUmpire:

I know mariano, no worries! :)
  1:05pm Steve/SI:

  1:17pm Frank Above:

This Blind Owls song is cool. I like how it turns into a swing feel on the chorus.
  1:25pm KevinWho:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:26pm braveness23:

Dang, it's been weeks since I have had time to listen to WFMU at work. I sure as heck hope you all weren't waiting for me. If you were, for dogs sake, proceed!

Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:28pm mariano:

Rings of Saturn: makes me think of that Amazon page for a book with the title (no joke) "Penetrating Wagner's Ring." It's got some of the funniest customer reviews ever.
  1:34pm Steve/SI:

Joe, have to head out, I will look for your reply later. Will email you if JJR does not work and try to formulate a plan. Thanks for years of great great spinning.
Avatar 1:35pm Joe B:

  1:37pm KevinWho:

John Law! awesome!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:37pm mariano:

Did he say "picked up a couple of queens?"
Avatar 1:37pm Whooda:

The bad boys of country all lined up in row.
  1:38pm marmalade kitty:

Hi Joe! That seventh ring of saturn tack reminded me of an old psych track by LYD -time of hate and struggle
Avatar 1:39pm Whooda:

Buck Owens and his Transaroos?
  1:39pm marmalade kitty:

(I think it was that track)
  1:45pm John L.:

Laura Cantrell is playing in Kingston, at BSP, on April 24. Wygalator is opening.
Avatar 1:47pm Joe B:

Avatar 1:54pm KOTJ:

This Warm Soda sounds like the mine disaster song Timothy by The Buoys.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:23pm common:

Avatar 2:31pm Joe B:

thanks Common!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:35pm Guido from Cologne:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:44pm Guido from Cologne:

"Trouble In Mind" is the next label to fill a larger shopping cart with ... incredible what they put out.
  2:46pm Bluesman:

Whoa Joe that was a pretty "suave" mix just there.
Avatar 2:48pm Joe B:

sometimes you just get lucky!

Hu Guido! yes, a great label. a lot of records, all quality!
Avatar 2:51pm Sem Chumbo:
