Nice opening sounds DJ Faye. Notice that your illustrations have taken a turn to the dramatic. Really like the lip stitches!

Hi Faye!
Avatar 9:05pm JakeGould:

Hello! The animation is cool. It’s like that whole, “You must pay the rent! I can’t pay the rent!” thing. But with blob heads talking about saying.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:15pm Rhody Chris:

Hola Faye and listeners!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:17pm pacific standard simon:

I have a collection of Swingline Tot 50 staplers -- those little bitty ones. Can't help myself, when I see them in thrift stores, sometimes several bagged up all different colors.
  9:18pm mike east:

@heat - me too... But I think it shows the full comment for everyone else on the web page
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:18pm Faye:

so glad y'all like the gif...
  9:18pm Stanton:

Ah there is another Jake! so *presto* I have become 'Stanton' to avoid confusion. . .or something like that
  9:19pm HEAT:

Thanks mike east!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:19pm KK:

i have two broken staplers. i don't even have a printer!
Avatar 9:20pm Whooda:

Yes PSS the tot 50 the tiny stapler that fits regular sized office staples! Like a miniature spymasters palm camera only not *quite* as exciting. But more colorful! I have the neon green.
Avatar 9:20pm JakeGould:

I actually had a staple gun. I lost it. Now I bought a new one.
  9:20pm mike east:

Lou reed stole my stapler

Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:21pm Rhody Chris:

Excuse me, I believe you have my stapler...
Avatar 9:21pm JakeGould:

My red joystick. His red stapler.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:22pm SSS:

@pacific standard simon - Believe it or not, I designed the stamping dies for the Tot 50 at SwingLine some thirty odd years ago when they were still in LIC.
Avatar 9:23pm Whooda:

@PSS I've had the same tot 50 since 1990. One of my treasured possessions.
  9:24pm Richard from Venezuela:

Avatar 9:25pm Whooda:

@SSS and now I've met it's maker. This is too weird.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:25pm KK:

listening from the other room, I thought the song was called international losers... but this is still good
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:26pm Greg from Bloomfield:

Yes. YES. yesyesyesyesyes. <skanking>
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:26pm pacific standard simon:

So I'm not the only one? Those old Tots are really cute and handy, and they don't seem to jam as often as larger staplers.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:27pm SSS:

I cannot believe the Tot 50 could come up in conversation. I still have the flat patterns.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:27pm fleep:

The new Tots look nothing like a mini desk stapler, more like a clamshell www.swingline.com...
Avatar 9:28pm Whooda:

@Richard from Venezuela Been thinking about you and wondering if there is anything worth shipping to you that you might need.
Avatar 9:29pm JakeGould:

Just so you all understand how weird it is to loose a staple gun: I have a hand stapler that I got in a trade with some school friends back in like 1978. Really nice stapler. I think I traded a Mego super hero or something for it. Yeah, I traded a toy for a stapler.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:30pm pacific standard simon:

I don't care for the new ones the same way, but I'm sure some people prefer them.
Avatar 9:31pm JakeGould:

This one is a very specific model that you can hold in your hand. And it has a hook to hang from a hook or a sting. Maybe I will wear it like a necklace.
Avatar 9:33pm Whooda:

Oh God! My social conversation has atrophied to staplers. I *have* to get out more often...Wait, this *is* my getting out experience. So, you seen the new oven mitts at Walmart this season? :)

@Jake I held onto my first canvas stapler bought for art school in 1978, I was so proud and cared for it for decades until it got stapler arthritis and distended main spring.
  9:33pm HEAT:

Okay so who is going to prank that phone number?
  9:35pm bone brain:

  9:40pm Stanton:

anguuuular-great song!
Avatar 9:42pm Whooda:

@SSS I haven't looked far enough ahead to consider the day when my Tot 50 needs a total rebuild, but if I whack out my platen, I'll be seeking out those blueprints from you :)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:42pm fleep:

@Whooda Next step down that road is a stapler blog. Check out the bad boy on the first page stapleroftheweek.blogspot.com
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:43pm SSS:

Staplers been berry berry good to me.........till they took manufacturing to Spain!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:43pm pacific standard simon:

BTW, if you dig Faye's GIFs, follow her Tumblr -- she posts 'em there, too.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:43pm Stevel:

Just checking in. Yes, the gif is top notch!

Nice to be listening live and relatively uninterrupted. I'll take that as a win!
Avatar 9:43pm JakeGould:

I still have my protractor from when I was like 8. I have it in a box I consider a museum of family relics.
Avatar 9:43pm bobdoesthings:

those are some fine staplers..
Avatar 9:43pm Whooda:

@Fleep That's hilarious!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:46pm pacific standard simon:

Nice find, Fleep. My dream has always been to find a discarded saddle-stapler (the zine publisher's friend) in a thrift shop.
Avatar 9:48pm JakeGould:

PSS, check it. www.amazon.com...
Avatar 9:49pm Whooda:

@PSS Saddle Staplers are hard to find second-hand, I finally reluctantly abandoned mine. Once working in a print shop on an industrial machine shop sized saddle stapler I stapled my finger. Hard to forget that sort of thing.
Avatar 9:51pm bobdoesthings:

I think it's "El Ritmo Sueno"
Avatar 9:51pm JakeGould:

Anyone every work with heavy duty box taping equipment? The stuff that has nylon filaments running through it for reinforcement & it has to be moistened in the machine to be applied?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:52pm Faye:

oh no it's ultimo
  9:52pm Stanton:

@Simon will do! I just made a tumblr a couple of days as a way to force myself to post up all of my concept sketches and ideas as a way to unclench my work and get out of my own way. . .it's a llll just compost to me
Avatar 9:52pm Whooda:

@jake that's exactly the saddle stapler I owned. $200. That is C.R.A.Z.Y.
  9:53pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Checking in from the local roller skating rink. Should've brought ear buds, though.
  9:54pm mike east:

@ken I was at an ice rink earlier and thought the same thing
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:54pm SSS:

I cannot believe there is a stapler of the week guy. I am a tiny bit scared now.
Avatar 9:55pm Whooda:

@Jake I have worked with that tape before.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:55pm Gaylord Fields:

Faye, I was hoping you hadn't had a change of heart about that song we discussed yesterday!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:57pm Gaylord Fields:

I'll happily keep up my end of the deal tomorrow.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:57pm Faye:

;) no way!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:57pm Stevel:

Oh! Oh! DJ dealings!!
Avatar 9:57pm JakeGould:

@SSS I like those tape dispensers. I also like this music. Is the song Gaylord & Faye talking about going to be about heavy duty office equipment?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:58pm pacific standard simon:

Back. Sorry, I was following the stapler of the week posts backwards. Found the saddle stapler:
@Jake - Yeah, I really don't want to pay that kind of money, since I'm not doing much zine publishing anymore.
Avatar 9:59pm bobdoesthings:

oooooooooooooo this is nice
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:59pm SSS:

I must confess to having a small stapler collection myself. My favorite one is designed into a fountain pen sized case. Very compact.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:00pm Gaylord Fields:

Thank you, my dear friend! (More words to come offline.)
Avatar 10:00pm Whooda:

@PSS That is some heavy stapler memory. From your link:
The first time I saw a Swingline 615, was in 2004 during a premarital counselling session with the white-haired scandinavian Pastor at my grandmother's Lutheran Church. I commented on the stapler and my fiance (now my wife) said she had used them many times . .
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:01pm Faye:

looking forward!! everyone else- i'm not sure how the stapler conversation started but I support it. i have a very small stapler with hello kitty on it.
Avatar 10:01pm coelacanth:

Can we talk about garden shovels. I dont know anything about staplers.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:02pm Gaylord Fields:

@Stevel: As members of the WFMUminati, Faye and I carry out all sorts of clandestine deals.
Avatar 10:03pm Whooda:

Garden shovels. I can dig it.
Avatar 10:03pm ranjit:

I just tuned into the chat, had a brainstorm, and found at the back of a drawer my tiny swingline stapler that I hadn't thought about in years. It doesn't have a model number on it but i bet it's a tot 50.

NO! It's something totally different, but those tots I googled up also look familiar. I'm sure I had one once.
Avatar 10:04pm JakeGould:

@Faye: Greg from Bloomfield talked about working on art at home while listening to the show. I mentiond how I got a canvass pliers & a staple gun. And the rest is this!
  10:04pm hollinhills:

the only staple related song I have is 'Stapled to Staples' by sea saw
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:04pm pacific standard simon:

@Faye - I was sure you had some familiarity with office supply fetishism (it's a Japan thing).
@coelacanth - Garden shovels would be topical -- it's spring! Planting soon.
Avatar 10:05pm Whooda:

I bet my Tot 50 would even staple underwater If only the paper wouldn't fall apart.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:05pm pacific standard simon:

Well, now we have to hear something by The Staples Singers.
Avatar 10:06pm Whooda:

Performing in the Staple Center hopefully.
Avatar 10:07pm JakeGould:

Whooda, what if you were in the ocean & you could help staple wildlife back together?

Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:12pm pacific standard simon:

Hmm... Bostitch... so tempting... sleeker than the Swingline. But is it sturdy?
Avatar 10:12pm Whooda:

@Jake, I won't even ask how you stumbled upon that site, the clicky link on the same page goes to: "The Bishop’s rectum, in a museum" and you thought turtle cesarian needed a graphic warning!
  10:16pm HEAT:

Bye everybody! BYE FAYE, see you in the archives

Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:16pm Faye:

thanx for hangin out HEAT!
Avatar 10:17pm Whooda:

@PSS It's a no brainer. According to Stapler of the Week the Swingline requires specialized staples where the Bostitch uses regular ones.
Avatar 10:17pm JakeGould:

@Whooda, I saw the picture on Facebook at first. Then I Googled it for here. FORGIVENESS!
  10:17pm marmalade kitty:

mutiny! anarchy! glubglubglub..
Avatar 10:17pm coelacanth:

Okay i tried but didn't find my stapler on google image search. It's about 8-10" long,4-5" high at the button. It must've had a plastic piece on the button when it was new,but when i pulled it out of somebody's trash it had an ancient band-aid on the button. It's a swingline. It misfires about 1/3 of the time but i shake it and the staples line up for a few more.I rarely use it.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:20pm pacific standard simon:

@Whooda - well that settles it. Also, there's a cheaper one, but the shipping makes it more expensive than the Amazon-Prime-shipped one you linked to.
Avatar 10:21pm coelacanth:

Bostitch! Yes that's my staple gun. I use that a lot.
And a razorback heavy duty long handle shovel.

@PSS You know Amazon was just busted. They troll customers records and charge more for people who can pay more, also, they will add the cost of shipping to items purchased with "prime shipping" feature (if they determine you will buy it for the higher price anyway.)

not sure if they're touring KK, they're gonna be on Liz's show for sure though!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:35pm KK:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:53pm Faye:

hiya p-90!
Avatar 10:53pm coelacanth:

JakeGould i looked as well. From around the 60s?
  10:55pm Cooh John:

Oh no! Web of Sunsets again. Last time you played them, I bought the 45 before the song was over!
Avatar 10:55pm coelacanth:

(i know nothing of staplers- Just going by style and level of practical advancement.)
  10:57pm Cooh John:

BTW, I had a Tot 50 in 1970.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:58pm pacific standard simon:

Don't even start with hole punches.
  10:59pm Cooh John:

Miss Yarton and her electric punch.
Avatar 10:59pm Whooda:

Nothing more satisfying that a good solid three-holed punch through a stack of 20 lb. bond.
Avatar 11:00pm JakeGould:

I have a 3-hole punch & some metal rulers I stole from a job back in 1992. Ahh!
Avatar 11:00pm coelacanth:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:01pm pacific standard simon:

WFMU has tried all sorts of gimmicks (dice, shot glasses, hip flasks, etc) as Marathon bait -- why not staplers?
  11:03pm Golde:

or... staples?
  11:03pm doca:

hello faye and children, i'm up for the last hour of your show
Avatar 11:04pm JakeGould:

Golde, do you mean staples, like metal staples, or do you mean things like nuts, grains, bread, milk & water.
  11:04pm Golde:

useful for those canvas builders out there in a certain "radio land
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:05pm pacific standard simon:

Children of the world, unite! You have nothing to lose but your sleep!
Avatar 11:05pm coelacanth:

Most of my office equipment has come to me for free, one way or another. I've had a 3-hole puncher for decades. I think i've never used it. I have an excellent "old-fashioned" crank-grind pencil sharpener.(like we used in grade school.) That was my brother's and he likely stole it off the wall from one of the schools.
I use it A LOT.
  11:07pm jephrees:

Saturday nights on Faye's astral plane. Just WOW! Thanks!
  11:07pm Golde:

ACTUALLY, you have an excellent point there. If WFMU would provide garlic, ginger, a bag of onions and a random bunch of fresh herbs, I might succumb to a pledge. Oh, the impending pledge! How it calls at me from beneath the floor boards!
Avatar 11:09pm coelacanth:

Yeh,Faye the soundtrack is Brilliant! (this track is PERFECT)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:09pm pacific standard simon:

Wait, I've got it! WFMU could offer, as a Marathon premium, little tin plaques that say, "PROPERTY OF WFMU", which you could affix to the stolen office equipment in your cubbyhole or bed-sit room.
Avatar 11:09pm JakeGould:

I think maybe WFMU should offer a special artisanal WFMU branded “stone” to pledgers. Perfect for making free form stone soup. Think about it.
  11:09pm Golde:

Those crank-grind pencil sharpeners are the best. I have one in my apartment that has been in there since there since the 1900s, actually. It was screwed into the kitchen, out of all places!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:10pm fleep:

@JakeGould Never doubted you; mine is the gray version.

@pss Since you are stuck using Amazon, the AmazonSmile program includes WFMU in their charities list (under Auricle Communications). I signed up today.
  11:10pm P-90:

@ Tot 50: that thing is a lengendary thing, used, apprecieated and admired for decades by millions who recognize the ineffable thingness of a well-designed, durable, exquisitely functional thing. I'm not joking, if The Dude who made the dies for that thing is still around, you have my deep respect for being a part of the process that broght that kingly thing into being.

@ Stanly Kubrick's hard-on for office equipment and supplies: yes, That Dude was an organization freak who was fascinated by the challenge of organizing an office as excellently as it could possibly be organized. The key story about that was that he meticulously stored all his notes, bills, correspondence, and everything else in standardized cardboard storage boxes; after investigating every available storage box, he designed one himself that was more functional than any previously available box, all his stuff is still in those boxes and I believe you can still order the Kubrick-designed boxes from the dealer in England
Avatar 11:10pm JakeGould:

Music comment, this last hour is quite good. Thank you!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:10pm Greg from Bloomfield:

Sleepy time. 'Night Faye + Children!
Avatar 11:11pm Whooda:

Magical music DJ Faye. Wonderful stuff.
Avatar 11:11pm JakeGould:

Goodnight Greg. Thank you for helping to spur this art/office supply convo.
Avatar 11:12pm Whooda:

Goodnight sweet art related color imagery dreams Greg.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:14pm pacific standard simon:

@Fleep - WHAAAAT? Is that real? I'm always disappointed when I look to see if my employer does matching contributions to WFMU.
Avatar 11:16pm coelacanth:

Golde Yes mine will perfectly and quickly sharpen any size pencil including fragile colored pencils.I dont know when it was made, but i'm positive it will out-live me.
  11:17pm Golde:

Yes, yes, throw in all of the buzzwords like "artisanal" in an attempt to lure new listeners!! That soup actually sounds like the one my grandfather ate when he was imprisoned in a Siberian Gulag for a decade where prison guards ate no better than prisoners -- in fact, they ate the same soup. Water and potato "soup". I would also be happy if the radio station would commit to offering me a glass of water if I should ever need it. I might make the pledge under those terms...
  11:19pm Golde:

It will out-live you if you paint over it with 20 coats of paint. I highly doubt anyone in the future will bother to attempt to strip it. That's what happened to mine!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:19pm pacific standard simon:

Pencil sharpener soup?
  11:20pm Stanton:

this is officially the song I will play to soften the nerves. . .and putty the bones. mhmmm
Avatar 11:21pm JakeGould:

Golde, I am actually not painting on a canvas. Instead I guess you could say I am creating a “sculpture” with this. It’s non-canvas clothe stretched over a birch panel. And I am going to display the pin collection—tons of vintage 1 inch buttons—I have had since the 1980s.
Avatar 11:22pm JakeGould:

Golde, someone stripped your painting?
Avatar 11:22pm JakeGould:

Wow, this “New Buildings” is pretty good.
  11:22pm Stanton:

that is "Daylight" by Maxine Funke. The current song is what I will play during brunch. . .
  11:23pm P-90:

@pss: how's the weather today on Puget Sound? We had ugly rain a few days ago followed by a couple of actual Spring-like days here in NY/NJ
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:24pm pacific standard simon:

@Jake - Like this?

Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:24pm fleep:

@pss Enter the site via smile.amazon.com and select Change Your Charity under Your Account.
Avatar 11:25pm JakeGould:

@PSS: Yup. Pretty much like that. Hanging on my wall. BOOM!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:26pm Ike:

Just got home a little while ago. There's an obnoxious loud party next door, so I turned on this show really loudly to drown it out. Actually this makes a good excuse to play FMU really loud.
Avatar 11:27pm JakeGould:

Hey Ike. Sounds bad. They are still celebrating Saint Patrick’s Day in my part of Brooklyn.
Avatar 11:28pm coelacanth:

Golde That's lucky,i guess. Now it's in the hands of someone who appreciates it.
Maybe i should put mine in my will,so it doesn't get chucked into a dumpster when i die. (when i make a will.)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:28pm pacific standard simon:

@P-90 - Very much Spring. We had two light snows this year, and I think we're done. Rain is back to normal after a dry spell.

@Fleep - OK, I'll look into it.

@Jake - My collection.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:29pm fleep:

@P-90 The G.Ryder & Co Ltd has a short video about the Kubrick boxes. Those are handsome boxes, the lids come off like buttah.
Avatar 11:30pm JakeGould:

@PSS: Cool collection!
Avatar 11:30pm JakeGould:

Everybody, I am reading these comics as I listen to this. I can’t stop crying! magicwhistle.tumblr.com...
  11:31pm Golde:

My pencil sharpener is coming with me into the mausoleum because at this rate, it seems no one knows how to use a pen or pencil anymore!!
Avatar 11:33pm JakeGould:

So the next meeting of the “Hello Children” fan club. What is the show & tell? Staplers? Pencils?
  11:34pm Stanton:

I have been advised by mysterious sources to cut my canvas in half when I hit a creative block. I will also forgo my pencil sharpener and rubber eraser. . .@everyone I must
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:34pm maestroso:

Hi Faye, tuning in late, just got back from a concert (rather loud) nice sounds to return to on your show!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:36pm Ike:

Hey Jake. Did you say Bay Ridge? I was just there last Sat. -- a friend & I went to Tanoreen. A little bit fancy compared to the usual ethnic holes-in-the-wall I hit up, but very tasty. The muhammara was outstanding.
  11:37pm Golde:

Jake, I used to LOVE Sam Henderson when I was a kid and this year at the comic book fair in willbrg I had the pleasure of actually MEETING him and purchasing a collection of all of his old comics! What a funny man!
  11:37pm Stanton:

'DJ Speaks' should be played live in a pub somewhere
Avatar 11:37pm coelacanth:

Golde That's sad...But i know you're right.
JakeGould You're in luck. It's buttons.
Avatar 11:38pm JakeGould:

Ike, yeah I am in Bay Ridge. Literally about 5 blocks away from there. The middle eastern food here is pretty good. I really like Hazar. Great, great Turkish food.
Avatar 11:39pm JakeGould:

Golde, those comics I linked to are on Sam Henderson’s blog, but they are not his comics. Gotta look at those. Past hilarious. And Sam is hilarious!
  11:40pm Golde:

Stanton, but at what point can one determine that one has hit the BLOCK? I am currently in a block with my painting and I simply can't strike my canvas with my initials like a certain masked Spanish FOX
Avatar 11:41pm JakeGould:

FWIW, the comics are by Joan Cornellà. Artist’s website here with more great stuff. elblogdejoancornella.blogspot.co.uk
  11:43pm Golde:

Thanks Faye baybe
  11:43pm P-90:

@fleep: thanks for the heads-up on the Kubrick box film, didn't know about it, found it on YouTube. Are you a Kubrickian or Kubrickologist?
  11:44pm Golde:

Avatar 11:44pm JakeGould:

Faye, you are tired but still on the mark. Thanks!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:44pm Faye:

thaanks Jake
Avatar 11:45pm ottovonbqe:

This has been a pleasant 3 hours. Thank you and goodnight.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:47pm Faye:

goodnight otto!
Avatar 11:48pm listener mark:

Thank you Faye. That is a thought provoking animation. A question to be answered at a different time. An outstanding radio programme tonight. Please everyone practice safe stapling.
  11:49pm Golde:

Will do!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:49pm fleep:

@P-90 It was your mention of the boxes that sent me Googling, my Kubricity is limited to being a fan of the films, although Eyes Wide Shut was a hard slog.
  11:49pm Dan:

I'm lovin this song. Perfectly music for this time of night.
  11:50pm Stanton:

@Golde hmmmmm very good point. I suppose being at a block happens when you try too hard to articulate or can't seem to find anything to articulate. . . spinning your wheels as it seems. Like I said earlier it helps if I look at what I make as "compost" for the better stuff to grow--- while not half assing (much) what I am doing in the moment. I like to think that chips and chops at the ol' block. . .

diggin' this btw Faye
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:51pm pacific standard simon:

So, Faye? You want to know why I babble about goofy stuff while listening to your show? It's because it would be kinda boring if I just kept writing, "Ooh, cool track!" after EVERY SINGLE SONG.
Avatar 11:52pm JakeGould:

@Golde: My advice for a block? Take a nap then do something else. Unless you are on a deadline, it will come back to you.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:52pm hollinhills:

now my nightmares will all be in the style of Joan Cornella
Avatar 11:53pm JakeGould:

What PSS said. Your show is good. Period.

@hollinhills: Joan Cornella’s stuff is dark, but my lord. Some of that stuff is a new level of funny.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:54pm pacific standard simon:

My advice for a block -- take a shower. All good ideas and breakthroughs come in the shower.
  11:55pm Stanton:

@Jake yeah-that's always a good move-forget making anything of it
Avatar 11:56pm JakeGould:

The way you need to look at blocks of any kind is it’s like working out one arm for hours & hours. And it will get tired. Give it rest. Work out the other arm.
Avatar 11:56pm coelacanth:

Faye You've out-done yourself.
Thank you
  11:56pm Golde:

What do you mean, Stanton? About what you describe?
Avatar 11:56pm JakeGould:

Faye you must be punchy tired. Get some Zzzz's.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:56pm Stevel:

Great show!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:56pm fleep:

Thanks, Faye!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:56pm Ken From Hyde Park:

I guess the first thing to do tomorrow is to watch "Office Space" and enjoy every time Milton says something about his beloved stapler.
  11:57pm P-90:

Thank you, DJFaye, your show never dissapoints!
also: that GIF IS great, you were at the top of your game with that one
Have a great seven days!
Avatar 11:58pm JakeGould:

Yeah, will say it again. This GIF this week is quite superb.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:58pm pacific standard simon:

But I really do love my staplers, you know...
  11:59pm Milton:

That's my stapler. Please don't ask to borrow it.
Avatar 12:00am coelacanth:

I heard once and don't know if it's true that somebody that may have been Thomas Edison or Albert Einstein used to often go to bed with a heavy ball in one hand so when he drifted off it would hit the floor and he'd awaken with the brilliant idea that comes at the dawn of sleep, that we usually lose.
  12:00am Golde:

Yeah, those ways I should try sometime, everybodaee!
Avatar 12:01am Whooda:

@Golde Paint anything, anything at all. Paint your intitials or sunflowers or bunny rabbits. It doesn't matter. Only thing that matters is that you paint SOMETHING until the inspiration sees you painting and joins you.
  12:01am golde:

Don't worry! I'll make sure you get that stapler back!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:02am Ike:

Yeah, great GIF, Faye! Bye.
Avatar 12:04am Whooda:

thanks again Faye and children. Lots of artists in this crazy place.
  12:06am g oooo de:

feh reel doe
Swag For Life Member 12:00pm 12539:
