I never miscue a record. I am punctual, well-prepared, and dislike clutter. Outgoing and helpful, I'm always appropriately dressed. I do not behave erratically and have excellent penmanship. My CD's never skip, and I am in good health. I like all the notes, in any order.

Avatar 12:10pm fred:

Good afternoon Bryce. Strange how Parmegiani was not played as much as Lou Reed. Thanks for fixing that somewhat
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:10pm DCE:

happy post-Thanksgiving chill day.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:13pm common:

very good.
Avatar 12:17pm fred:

GRM put up a tribute site (in French, though): www.inagrm.com...

Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:19pm Bryce:

cool, fred, thanks! yeah, hoping people wouldn't be burned out on the man yet. literally found out at the beginning of my show last week, so didn't have my parmegiani suitcase with me.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:21pm Bryce:

did a parmegiani tribute 6 or 7 years ago. there may be some overlap, but i'll try not to too much. (archives that old are in mono anyway, i think...)

Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:47pm Bryce:

we never got past a cheese plate and bottles of wine...MAY GOD BLESS AMERICA!
  12:49pm von Wildenhaus:

Great. Thanks. Perfect in stereo.
  12:50pm JakeGould:

Why aren’t you patriots out shopping? The economy needs you!
  12:50pm joe voltage:

That's perfect. Diane and I had lemonades and vodka.
Avatar 12:54pm amEdeo:

Bottles of Cheese.
  12:56pm joe voltage:

Somebody threw gravy on the hood of my car at the salvation army one time. smelt great driving home but looked like baby crap.
  12:58pm JakeGould:

It was baby crap from when they fed the baby gravy.
  1:01pm joe voltage:

It tasted fine?
Avatar 1:07pm amEdeo:

I love. This. Music.

Avatar 1:30pm Looms:

I wonder if playing his work about Dante's Divine Comedy is relevant these days (though they're amongst my favorites)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:32pm Bryce:

looms! hahaa, tell me about it.... almost played l'enfer. hard to choose!
  1:39pm mary:

appreciate your great sound design for the Christopher Knowles performance Sunday. Almost said hello as a radio fan; I know your visage from some kind of fmu display
  1:41pm mary:

p.s. thanks for this Parmegiani !
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:42pm Bryce:

Avatar 2:06pm DeemerDave:

Avatar 2:10pm amEdeo:

I'm hiding them inside of my pants!
Avatar 2:10pm northguineahills:

oh, and damn, Parmegiani died, and this is the first I heard of it.
Avatar 2:13pm Whosondephone:

WOW Dude!
Avatar 2:20pm Looms:

Yes, Stade2 was a famous sport TV show.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:21pm Bryce:

can't believe parmegiani did a sports show jingle! so great....
Avatar 2:25pm Brian in UK:

Hello Bryce. Sad news. Side bar, Boris Vian is a hero in this house.
Avatar 2:26pm Looms:

Easy to understand nonetheless: Parmegiani worked for the GRM which is a national "institution" and Stade2 was aired on national TV. They just asked one of the best to do the work.
Avatar 2:27pm Looms:

@Brian: Boris Vian is a hero here at home and in my family too.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:29pm Bryce:

doesn't seem like many people outside of france know about him! i guess his writing's pretty untranslatable....
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:30pm Bryce:

ever come across this?

Avatar 2:32pm Looms:

NEVER! Thanks, it's great.
Avatar 2:33pm Brian in UK:

@Looms there is a Boris Vian Centre somewhere close to Paris I believe. Saoud Massi played there not so long ago.
His jazz writings are/were very perceptive.

@Bryce his 'Froth on a Daydream' was very Sixties in translation by Penguin and as for Heartsnatcher. Well.
Avatar 2:37pm Brian in UK:

Bryce have you got the 'Pataphysics CD prepared by Andrew Hugill thought Sonic Arts Network?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:38pm Bryce:

got those and "i spit on your graves" — love love 'em! but i know there's a dimension of wordplay i'll always be missing, at least till i learn my way around french.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:39pm Bryce:

no, i don't have that!
Avatar 2:40pm Brian in UK:

Can I send you a copy?
Avatar 2:41pm northguineahills:

I was disappointed when I was Charles de Gaulle airport and they had discontinued the alert beep that Parmegiani engineered.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:45pm Bryce:

nooo! that's too bad. what's next, the alan parsons escalators??
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:46pm Bryce:

brian, that would be amazing! those sonic arts book/CDs are lovely — vicki's sent me a couple!
Avatar 2:48pm Brian in UK:

Sorry to digress from the tribute.
Will do, Bryce in time.
Must catch the last part of Eugene Onegin on BBC. Chin chin.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:51pm Bryce:

pip pip!
Avatar 2:53pm Looms:

Brian, I'm sure Parmegiani would see no harm in our discussion about BV while his music is aired. He loved his work.
  2:54pm joe voltage:

Great show Bryce!! Just got back from the store. you gotta try this pear hard cider by rekorderlig. Stuff is awesome
Avatar 2:55pm Looms:

And yes, wonderful homage. See ya.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:57pm Bryce:
