Avatar 3:18am Andy in Berlin:

Good morning you black emperors!
Avatar 3:20am KP:

Morning Bill & Andy!
Avatar 3:21am Bill Mac:

Morning Andy, KP (and others to be introduced later)! Yep, saw GYBE this week. This time we stayed for the whole show. Man, wow.... man again! Godhead on the stage. I can't really put into words how great they were.
Avatar 3:23am Bill Mac:

..... and what about the Hawkwind cancellation?! We'll talk later!
Avatar 3:44am Brian in UK:

Howdeedoodee Bill, Andy, KP.
Grade A, grey day here.
  3:45am KP:

They were going to play an 12 minute walk from where I live, the Grammercy theater. If you know ny, you know the idea of Hawkwind playing in Granmercy Park is pretty funny.
  3:50am KP:

I do however have an invitation to see the Hawklords and Sendelica in Wales. Sendelica is on Fruits de Mer. Are the Hawklords competing with Hawkwind?
Avatar 3:51am Andy in Berlin:

@ Brian - medium grey over here
  3:54am KP:

No names but your goal is up there with uh, the household names. Not that you're not.
  3:54am KP:

Bill needs us!
Avatar 3:56am Brian in UK:

Got tickets for Lonnie in London in December.

No fuckin' way did I do that church thing.
  3:56am KP:

Hello, Brian!
Avatar 3:57am Brian in UK:

KP did you enjoy any of those CDs?

Flutatcious supported The Hawklords a few months ago.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:59am Stanley:

(Crawls out of pit and reaches for the controls) Hi everyone.
Avatar 4:00am Brian in UK:

In fact they are supporting in November.
Avatar 4:05am Nashvillain:

Not me in that parking lot, but us Tennesseans do all know each other, ya know
Avatar 4:06am Bill Mac:

I heard the same about new yorkers
  4:07am Emile:

Hey y'all. Dodgers lost, I'm done with baseball this year.
Avatar 4:08am Nashvillain:

oh yeah, Dave Cloud + The Gospel are opening for a Dan Johnston show I'll be going to, looks like I have two acts to look forward to now
Avatar 4:08am Jay/London:

good late morning Bill KP Brian and Stanley must try and get up in time for the show
Avatar 4:09am Bill Mac:

I shouldn't say this out loud, but I'm rooting for the Sox this year. I was hoping Dodgers/Sox but you can't have everything. Wasn't even paying attention to the National League playoffs this year.
Avatar 4:10am Bill Mac:

Wake up Jay!
Avatar 4:13am Brian in UK:

How you doing, Jay?
The Ashes cricket starts next month in Australia. Not a World Series, more important than that.
  4:14am Emile:

Nice to have you back, though PGB held down the fort admirably.
Avatar 4:15am Bill Mac:

It's amusing how polarizing our sports talk is...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:15am Stanley:

@Brian - "World Series" I like that!
Avatar 4:16am Bill Mac:

Thanks Emile. Yeah, he's the man! He'll be playing theremin at the Hoof & Mouth cemetery gig next week.
Avatar 4:17am Jay/London:

went out last Night Brian after work got home about midnight a good time was had my all got a busy weekend there is a fes in kings cross all weekend lots of bands playing all over the place
  4:17am Emile:

I'm just refusing the watch more since the Bucs, the A's and now LA missed the cut...
Avatar 4:17am Jay/London:

will you be singing again there Bill
Avatar 4:19am Bill Mac:

I would've like to have seen Pittsburgh in there too. The only reason I'm rooting for Boston is a former Phillie is on the team.
Avatar 4:20am Bill Mac:

You got it Jay.... we're doing a 30 minute Roxy Music/Eno set....
Avatar 4:21am Jay/London:

can't wait bill
Avatar 4:21am Brian in UK:

Theremin in a cemetery. Priceless.
  4:21am Emile:

Avatar 4:22am Bill Mac:

Emile thanks again for your donation. Much appreciated!!! I'll pass your kudos onto PGB.
Avatar 4:23am Bill Mac:

The whole thing makes me laugh. We have to dress in Halloween costumes and perform in front of several hundred likewise dressed revelers.
  4:24am Emile:

Sounds like an actual Roxy Music show circa 1972
Avatar 4:25am Jay/London:

sounds fun get your inner child out Bill !
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:25am Stanley:

Roxy/Eno doesn't strike me as being very Halloween-ish. But sounds fun anyway.
Avatar 4:26am Bill Mac:

I want to thank Maire from Rhode Island for donating to our October fundraiser. Much appreciated!!!
Avatar 4:26am Brian in UK:

I second Emile about PGB last week.

So Bill judging by your picture no change!!!
Avatar 4:27am Bill Mac:

Any time I can Jay.
@Stanley/Emile: Not Halloween-y so much, but from what I remember of their every press photos they were into the dressup thing in a big way.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:29am Stanley:

Phil Manzenera's bug-eyed shades are a bit creepy, though. Get a pair of those and you're set.
Avatar 4:31am Brian in UK:

These are scary enough
Avatar 4:32am Bill Mac:

They were pretty cool. I've been listening to "For Your Pleasure" a lot lately. Roxy's albums are hard to digest (I'm hungry) but I'm getting the hang of at least one of them. I bought Country Life.... for the ladies....
Avatar 4:33am Bill Mac:

I'd kill for Brian Ferrys' hairline.
Avatar 4:34am Bill Mac:

Thank you to Andrew from Tennessee for your donation to Zzzzzzero Hour and WFMU. Much appreciated!!!!
  4:35am Emile:

Check out some of those Eno-era RM appearances on German TV on YouTube... Brian in feathers rocking Remake Remodel for example...
Avatar 4:36am Bill Mac:

I think I watched the one for Editions of You.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:39am maestroso (in Hong Kong):

Very interesting set, Mr. Mac! I'll be returning to this in the archives. Have to head out for dinner now...
Avatar 4:40am Bill Mac:

Dinner?! I need some breakfast! Don't be a stranger Maestroso! Not to be confused with any other Maestroso!
Avatar 4:41am Brian in UK:

It's a syrup, Bill.
Avatar 4:58am Brian in UK:

Hey Bill, got any rib ticklers for us today?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:59am mauri:

  5:15am Marmalade Kitty:

Mornin' Jay!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:18am mauri:

Sauna afterwards. I think its way too cold to dip in the lake. Brrr ye balls off.
Avatar 5:18am Bill Mac:

Station Manager Ken believes Zzzzzzero Hour can raise $1700 during this October Fundraiser. Please help me prove him right. Show your support at the pledge widget on the top of this page. Thanks!!!
Avatar 5:23am Jay/London:

how's it going MK and plans to coming down to the smoke ?
Avatar 5:23am Bill Mac:

Thanks to Brian in the UK for his pledge and for his continuing support of this program and WFMU!!! Thank you my friend!!!!
Avatar 5:27am Andy in Berlin:

Hey guys, gotta split - places to go, people to be. Have a great rest of the show!
Avatar 5:28am Bill Mac:

You too Andy... don't forget to come back to hear Bon Scott singing country music!
Avatar 5:32am Brian in UK:

Bill did your Dad and his mates like Lord Buckley because there was a line there I remember from Buckley's The Gasser. 'You Got Yourself a Boy'. They must have had fun making that tape.
Avatar 5:35am Bill Mac:

You should hear the ones they didn't do straight - there's a Jonathan Winters sketch they did about Henry the 8th that's hilarious. Him and his pals were pretty funny together. Like friends are
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:36am Stanley:

Where Brian goes, others follow!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:38am mauri:

it's yo-tse-no :D you're welcome Bill.
Avatar 5:39am Brian in UK:

Rick Danko's voice, Bill. Heaven sent.
Avatar 5:41am Bill Mac:

Mauri thanks again for your donation. Much appreciated!!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:44am Stanley:

Avatar 5:45am Bill Mac:

You need to appreciate subtlety I think....
Avatar 5:46am Jay/London:

Avatar 5:50am Bill Mac:

It always goes fast Jay...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:51am Stanley:

Since I stumbled onto WFMU via Beefheart.com (in the links - describing WFMU as the greatest radio station in the world!) it's been great. The First Church of Radio as Saviour. The TRUTH the WAY!
Avatar 5:52am Brian in UK:

Not my best band ever but what a set of singers. Best seen live, that's where they could cut it.
Aftermath, best Stones record. You bet.
Great show as ever, Bill. Drive carefully. Great weekend everyone.
Avatar 5:52am Bill Mac:

Also, wanna thank KP for upping his pledge earlier in the program. Always appreciated!!!
Avatar 5:55am Bill Mac:

I do respect their work for sure Brian. One of these days. Thanks a lot as per usual gents! Next week!
