Brian in UK, as far as I know, Harbourne is the only goat blue coming out of the UK. It's hard making blue from goats' milk. Goats' milk is a tough medium to work with. It's much easier to make soft cheeses from it. Oh well.

Velveeta on crackers and listening to Bob Seger on a nice day. What could top that?

I know it's fashionable these days to like ol' Bob, but I do like him. "Cross of Gold" on this LP kicks hoo-hah.

Didn't know this was from the same album as Get out of Denver. That is a stone cold classic song.

Seger fan checkin' in. What's it? His first six albums or so STILL out of print? In the '80s, "Ramblin' Gamblin'", "Mongrel" and "Seven" were all Capitol recs budget-line issues.

speaking of which, WHY exactly did the lone ranger use silver bullets? were there a lot of vampires hanging around the dakotas or wherever back in the day?

I often wonder what path Seger would have taken if he had his breakout success, but then Springsteen DIDN'T explode in the late '70s. It seemed Seger started writing to a post-Springsteen playbook after 1976 or so... Just my take.

Wiki sez: "Reid decides to use only silver bullets, to remind himself that life, too, is precious..." Shooting the bullets is the easy part, the hard part is digging them out and cleaning them off.

"The masked man decided to use bullets forged from the precious metal as a symbol of justice, law and order, and to remind himself and others that life, like silver, has value and is not to be wasted or thrown away."
