Woah, what is this! Limonaire Brothers Organ. If that was ever on vinyl, that would be keen!
Avatar 11:08am

Cool, I'm about to go to Governor's Island in a bit. I'll bring a mic and a digital recorder. Nice how this will work out.

Morning, my boy!

I need to find my gig bag w/ my recorder first, d'oh. I have friend that has an art installation on Governor's Island. Not sure what's the event.
Avatar 11:16am

N.G.H.'s Gig Bag:

I'm in the back of your downstairs closet, remember?
Sean T.:

Never heard a cover version of Townsend's track from Magic Bus. I actually owned the who album at age 5 and still have that completely flat Decca pressing in my possession. I love those old really flat vinyls before they started making the more flexible ones.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:30am
Mike East:

Their singin your song, Michael!
Avatar 11:32am

You'd think living in a 2-bedroom railroad, there wouldn't be many places for a large bag full of instruments and equipment to hide. The gf put it in the back of a closet that's all tetrisized. Took everything out, and now my studio is full of random crap, but I got the bag and my recorder!

er, *they're*. Yes, I graduated highschool.

whoa! Glenn Tilbrook! Awesome. His city winery show was on my list of shows I'd go to this week if I didn't have kids.

"Singles 45's and under" is one of those records that has been a part of every record collection I've ever looked through.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:36pm
Mike East:

fantastic interview, Michael. I don't believe for a second you weren't prepared for it. Even if it is one of those interviews that you are perpetually prepared for.

LOVED Squeeze and love Tillbrook's recent work(s), but i will say that that first Difford/Tillbrook record was the most disappointing record i have ever heard (because of the high expectations i had for it).

again i emphasize -- saw glenn in recent years and thought he was doing a VERY special thing
David in ATL from NJ:

Thanks for the great interviews, today, Michael. Music too.
bianca bob:

GREAT interview and music...thank you both for making it happen.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:53pm

Better not touch the sax solo on this one!
william tell:

wow, this demo is smokin'!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:55pm
Mike East:

pulling mussels from a shell is one of those singles that doesn't get old, no matter how many times I hear it. cool demo version. Thanks for sharing, Michael
