Avatar 3:34am Bill Mac:

I'm always by the scope of Giras' material.
  3:34am Emile:

Bill's Swans/Gira obsession continues... Dig it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:37am Stanley:

Good morning everyone.
@ngh - nice to see you round these parts.
  3:38am KP:

Got my Swans deluxe set won here during marathon. I was listening to it just now until I realize you were on. Thanks!
Avatar 3:40am Bill Mac:

Still very much a newbie. Found this lurking on an almost forgotten handmade CD
Avatar 3:40am northguineahills:

Howdy-ooos, Stanley.

Esperanza de Oto, new to me. Me gusta.
Avatar 3:41am Bill Mac:

@KP How's that working out for you?
Avatar 3:42am Bill Mac:

@NGH I have to figure out what the deal is with that album. It says it's a comp.
Avatar 3:48am Andy in Berlin:

Oh NO! You run out for FIVE minutes and you miss the Tonto's Expanding Headband!
Avatar 3:48am Looms:

This ain't a comp but a reissue.
Discogs says : "This album was originally released on Embryo Records with catalog number SD 732 as " Tonto's Expanding Head Band: Zero Time (back in 1971)."
Avatar 3:48am northguineahills:

My brain feels cross-eyed, but instead of two points of mental sight, it feels like a score and a baker's dozen random points of reference. I can barely type. w00t!
Avatar 3:49am Looms:

Oops, wrong record, sorry.
Avatar 3:55am northguineahills:

Clicky stars being repeatedly clicked.
Avatar 3:57am Bill Mac:

Avatar 4:10am Jay/London:

i had a tooth out the other week it took the dentist one hour to pull it then i could not eat much for over a week .. when you seeing the dentist KP?
Avatar 4:13am northguineahills:

I've been lucky. I rarely floss, and brush on average 1.8/day. Have yet to have a cavity. Bike accidents notwithstanding, my teeth have stood up.
  4:15am Marmalade Kitty:

I'll never forget the tooth I had pulled.. made me cry uncontrollably in a fit of shock. I've never felt so sorry for myself..One of the most excruciating painfull...

...Sorry KP
  4:18am Marmalade Kitty:

Evil dentist called, Mr.Wang!
Avatar 4:18am Bill Mac:

Avatar 4:21am Bill Mac:

  4:27am Marmalade Kitty:

Avatar 4:31am Bill Mac:

I'm sure you will ;)
I guess I could play some Nuge... I kind of asked for that....
  4:33am andy in berlin:

@Bill - I' ve had more teeth fallout from bread. so just softness is no escape. Unless you go on an all Wheatina diet.
  4:35am Marmalade Kitty:

Wang it out!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:37am Stanley:

Ted Nugent? Maybe followed up by one of the Top Ten Right Wing Rockers:
(Some later said they didn't mean it, or changed their minds)
  4:39am andy in berlin:

I'd know that cowbell anywhere

Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:24am Stanley:

...now available as Radio Boredcast on your favourite station.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:31am Stanley:

This week I saw Ensemble Musikfabrik a 20-piece outfit from Germany playing modern orchestral music by Cage, Varese and Zappa. It was amazing. The Zappa they played was Big Swifty, t’Mershi Duween, The Black Page, RDNZL, Echidna‘s Arf (Of You), Don't you ever wash that thing? and encorred with Peaches.
Avatar 5:35am Bill Mac:

I wonder if that's something we might have in the library? Sounds great! Seems there are a few true music ensembles doing Zappa material.
Avatar 5:39am Andy in Berlin:

Great show, but gotta bail now - see you all next week.
Avatar 5:40am Jay/London:

seeing these bands in camden town Micky P is proud to introduce the legendry PATRIK FITZGERALD + RACHEL D'ARCY, UGLY SULK, band of the moment LIPSTICK MELODIES, and the wonderful PAUL VAN GELDER BAND
Patrik Fitzgerald was one of the oddities that Punk Rock threw up in 1977. A lone singer with an acoustic guitar regaling punk audiences with lyrical songs and interspersing them with chat, stories and poems
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:42am Stanley:

Bye Andy
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:44am Stanley:

Bill, I don't know whether much is available on disc. I suspect that the Zappa Family Trust only licenses the music to be performed live, not recorded. Anyway I don't know of any, Anyhow Musikfabrik are great in themselves.
Avatar 5:45am Bill Mac:

That's more of what I was getting at, Stan
Avatar 5:47am Looms:

The 2 first English sentences that my generation learned at school are :
- Where is Brian?
- Brian is in the kitchen.
Avatar 5:48am Looms:

Thx for the show.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:48am Stanley:

@ Jay - Patrik Fitzgerald I saw a few years back supporting and with The Cinematic Orchestra. I thought he was great. I hope you enjoy.
Avatar 5:48am Jay/London:

here's patrik fitzgerald web site for you Bill if you want to take a look www.patrikfitzgerald.co.uk
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:49am Stanley:

(Laughs out loud) - Looms, I like it.
Avatar 5:51am Jay/London:

@ stanley and also it's a free gig :)
  5:52am Marmalade Kitty:

the sun has got his Moscovian fluffy grey hat on.
Avatar 5:52am Bill Mac:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:52am Stanley:

@Jay - I dig it even more.
Avatar 5:53am Jay/London:

Avatar 5:55am Bill Mac:

Still dark here but not for long.... you guys have a lovely week... don't forget your sunscreen....
Avatar 5:56am Jay/London:

not so much the lucky MK !
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:56am Stanley:

Where does the time go? Where does it come from in the first place? Its the end of another show and we have to tidy up the mess.
Good bye everyone. Keep well, be happy.
Avatar 5:57am Bill Mac:

Avatar 5:57am Jay/London:

Ooops a day late, I went up to Sunderland or Chester Le Street to be precis to watch England play cricket with my two daughters. Well not with them they used a bat and ball but you know what I mean. Tried to message in on Saturday but could not connect. Off for a few days next week. I will file the hundred lines, Bill. 'I must keep the DJ & fellow listeners aware of any forseen absenses in future' Never say it will not happen again as a judge once said to me. Chin chin old bean.
Avatar 11:25am Brian in UK:

Robert Margouleff & Malcolm Cecil worked on Stevie Wonder's Music of My Mind but did not receive due credit.
Avatar 11:35am Brian in UK:

Regarding your Guided by voices comment about them worrying you.. Self knowledge is a powerful thing.
Avatar 12:26pm Brian in UK:

Steve Peregrine Took? Cannot shake the habit of this not being live!!
Avatar 1:10pm Brian in UK:

Bye the bye I have ordered a copy of Ball Hog Or Tugboat after your recommendation last week.
  8:03am Bill Mac:

Not sure if you'll saunter this was back again Brian, but I wanted it on record that I had a school friend that was very much interested in Steve Tooks' work with T Rex and solo stuff. Glad to know you're about and did you're daughters step on the cricket when they beat him? Nudge nudge.... ooof. sorry....
Avatar 12:37pm Brian in UK:

The first cricket tour from England to the USA was in 1859 believe it or not. Baseball and cricket love statistics. See you Saturday.
