Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:32pm Faye:

  9:32pm ahmad:

Looks like I missed a stellar half hour! In transit between two shows.
  9:34pm Carmichael:

No worries, Faye. Occasionally, one of the flayrods will go askew on the treddle.
Avatar 9:39pm spodiodi:

those aren't whiskers...
Avatar 9:49pm BadGuyZero:

I always heard it called "college rock" through most of the 80s. "Alternative rock" and "modern rock" came into use in the late 80s/early 90s.
  9:51pm Andrea:

I want to crawl up into this bed music and take a nap.
Avatar 9:52pm BadGuyZero:

I was at a My Bloody Valentine show last Saturday.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:53pm I.K.E. (Incan Kong Edgewise):

I agree with Byrne and Carm. Human error is cool, because then you know it's human radio, vastly superior to machine radio. And I've heard plenty more errors done by voicetracked radio than live human radio, too.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:54pm kevin g:

Apparently a new, expanded Talulah Gosh record will be released in October called "Was It All A Dream?"

According to en.wikipedia.org...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:55pm kevin g:

Or, rather, "Was It Just a Dream?"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:56pm Faye:

I hope it's not just a dream!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:56pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Why is it that my brain feels warm & happy during Faye's shows?
  9:56pm ?:

Feeling dreamy :,)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:57pm Faye:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:05pm Faye:

thanks for all your support of my mistakes guys!! you're the best.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:12pm maestroso:

Ty Segall. It seems that a lot of the newer music that I like is on Drag City.
Avatar 10:13pm Fernando M Pacheco:

Skipping CDs or LPs doesn't bothers me, and I can't understand what kind of WFMU listener would care about something like that. Faye, you're still the greatest saturday night soundtrack I can think of.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:15pm Ken From Hyde Park:

How does the random message on the home page go? "Those aren't technical errors, that's our programming." Something to that effect.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:16pm Faye:

aw thanks Fernando! maestroso- yes Drag City knows a few things about music. Good reissues coming from them too.
Avatar 10:17pm Byrne:

Avatar- Registration- and the other stuff . Done.

  10:20pm cooh john:

I keep buying CD's from her playlists. It is a sickness.
Avatar 10:24pm BadGuyZero:

Is that Black Tambourine on Slumberland? I think I have a 7" or two that they released on Slumberland.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:25pm maestroso:

@cooh john,
Not a sickness, it is a show of support for the artist!
Avatar 10:25pm BadGuyZero:

I knew it!
Avatar 10:27pm BadGuyZero:

I buy a lot of records I hear on FMU. And in the course of searching for those records I find out about some other really cool records.
Avatar 10:27pm duke:

  10:42pm Carmichael:

  10:42pm KP:

Faye is a major cause of haphazard record hunts.

  10:54pm KP:

Hello Richard
Avatar 10:58pm Droll:

It happened, it was good. Pix! www.wfmu.org...
  10:59pm KP:

Is there a difference between Chopin and Rachmaninov, because I think you have played the former.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:02pm kevin g:

The Rachmaninoff reminded me of "Nature Boy" by Big Star. Mentioned the piece to my mother and she became very interested, apparently she's been working on the piece and showed me the music for it. Looked nuts!
  11:06pm KP:

Droll, yeah that was awesome.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:22pm kevin g:

Guh, had a bizarre bit of deja vu just now when I recognized this Golden Dawn song and tried to figure out where I knew it. Took me a while to realize it's the soundtrack to Sarah Records doc trailer that I watched like five minutes ago.
  11:34pm cooh john:

Background bed is great.
  11:36pm cooh john:

Please tell.
Avatar 11:40pm BadGuyZero:

There's a song about my birthtown on that Mountain Goats record.
Avatar 11:40pm listener mark:

Thank you, Faye. Another episode of amazing radio, in the archives.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:45pm I.K.E. (Ice King Enterprises):

Cool cool cool.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:46pm fleep:

Two laptops in two rooms, with a slight delay on the streams, is upping the awesome on this.
