Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:09am Paul Dee:

Hey Michael, can't wait to see you interview swamp doug at the stomp!
Avatar 11:12am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Whata fun track ! !
- Presumably pre-recorded? I wonder (in my ignorance) if he knows Junior Brown & how he relates...
Avatar 11:21am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

- & unlike Les Paul - Leo Fender was not a guitarist! Gibson had been around making fine stringed instruments before electricity - but the Fenders were intended to be 'SpaceAge' ('Stratocaster', &tc.) & factory-part replaceable...

...just watched a Yardbirds YouTube & is said Jeff Beck is using an Esquire rather than a Tele...that's a man who's about 'touch' awlright...

...I love it when Merle sang 'Muskogie' - & Willie Nelson walks on...
#1 Hit Supporter Marathon 2021 11:22am David in ATL from NJ:

Avatar 11:54am northguineahills:

I've been combing through those Lomax recordings for a few months now. It's the mother lode, and they're going to keep adding to it as they digitize more.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:56am pacific standard simon:

Oh my goodness, what a master!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:58am Ken From Hyde Park:

"Longer" and "wronger." First time I recall hearing those together in lyrics.
  12:04pm myron feld:

  12:05pm myron feld:

So not a #1 Hit Donut.
Avatar 12:06pm Jay/London:

good afternoon just checking in from London
Avatar 12:07pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...seems to me you could easily get a donut worse than a fresh choco-glazed @ the right Dunkins...
- Pardon this Yank talk Jay!...
Avatar 12:09pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...Dan Yankees...
Avatar 12:09pm Juke Joint Jonny:

Avatar 12:20pm Michael Shelley:

  12:28pm Sean T.:

Nice De La Soul pick.
Did you get baited into this or was this long term planning?
Avatar 12:30pm Michael Shelley:

  12:34pm Queens L. Bow:

Great to hear that Fogerty track again (from an album that's still not on CD). But why wouldn't you have dinner with him?
Avatar 12:38pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

- he may look like Bruce Jenner - but from what I saw on AustinCityLimits - he still has John Fogerty's voice...
Avatar 12:48pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...it takes a special breed to make a career choice like calling yourself Ruins - & naming your single...
  12:50pm Queens L. Bow:

Wow, great to hear Scruffy....don't know this track, but I have Tiny Days & an EP, on vinyl. ("My Baby She's Alright" was the track that made me seek them out). Don't know if their stuff ever made it to CD, and they don't even have a Wiki entry; it's crazy.
  12:57pm tonyb:

always wanted "High Octane Revival".
still looking...
Avatar 12:58pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:
