I bought some peaches the other day and they're ripe enough for a pie. My daughter urged me to bake an apple pie, too. Finally got them both in the oven. Maybe I should turn it up to 500 so they'll be done before I fall asleep.

Pete from Boston (and NJ):

My seasonal life has shifted to "early to bed, early to rise." But tonight somehow I drifted back into late, and when I heard "Solid Gold Hell" playing, I momentarily thought I'd fallen asleep and dreamt of the winter, when I was up late all the time.

Damn, I wish I could just work late every Wednesday. I miss this damn noise.

Sue P.:

Hey rockers! Yum, I hope them are NJ peaches, Ken.

You can't rush peach pie. You have to wait all year for it, then you're going to rush it?

I'm probably going to be in bed soon, then not listen live for several weeks, so I'm going to say a few extra times how big a fan I am of this show.

Ken From Hyde Park:

That's two pies in the oven, not my daughter and a pie. I got the peaches at a farmers' market, so probably from Dutchess County, NY. To keep awake, I think all I need is to turn up the radio volume a bit.
