It's always cool to hear the Stranglers on the radio.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:07pm Rich in Washington:

I was a toilet on the see
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:08pm Rich in Washington:

This is my new favorite Thursday show
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:08pm Stevel:

Rich: I've heard that as well.

That song is what I think of when I hear A Flock of Seagulls.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:10pm Rich in Washington:

Love the Stranglers!
Avatar 12:11pm the glowing one:

someone needs to make a show with only songs full of mishearable humorous lyrics
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:12pm Stevel:

Drive DRIVE!!
Avatar 12:12pm the glowing one:

that bass and the organ together kinda sound like a tank
Avatar 12:15pm MenfussMike:

FUCK YEA!!! The Saint!....let's march
Avatar 12:16pm the glowing one:

it's less than well known?
Avatar 12:16pm the glowing one:

I mean "less than well learned"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:17pm Rich in Washington:

For some reason, I used to get Armored Saint and Queensrych (sp?) confused. Not sure why.
  12:37pm Alexis black:

Attacker !!!! Hell yea!
Avatar 12:37pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

I should be attacker-ing a sandwich. But it must first be hunted and slain.
Avatar 12:39pm northguineahills:

I have a pointy stick, will that help?
Avatar 12:40pm Cheri Pi:

ARRGGH!!!! Voivod!! in advance my peeps! i have a stoopid workshop to go to at 1! will get the book and listen in the archives. stay metal!
Avatar 12:40pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

Sure, in the absence of a sandwich I'll take a pointy stick. Soaked in sriracha, anything magically becomes edible.
Avatar 12:41pm MenfussMike:

got any Rogue Male, Ms. kamikaze?
Avatar 12:42pm Cheri Pi:

Cincinnati doomsters! in tha house!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:43pm joe:

Sorry had to do some work stuff and finish listening to Damned Damned Damned
Avatar 12:43pm Cheri Pi:

Avatar 12:44pm pat.dc:

I had so many/much various hotness on my Chinese buffet food, my ears are quietly burning and setting off the fire alarms/sprinklers here. I'm satisfied...
Avatar 12:44pm Cheri Pi:

A kind soul brought me some dolma's which I;m snarfing with a sriacha, tobasco, ghost pepper blend i made myself, on a napkin.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:44pm Coe:

Avatar 12:46pm Cheri Pi:

Coe, P@, RTD et al, please Voivod!! for me when I'm gone. Leaving in 1 minute for said stoopid leadership workshop.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:47pm tim from champaign:

Dolma's with hot sauce? I never thought to try that. Good idea.

Last weekend my wife made the dough and fixins for onion/potato and mushroom/saurkraut pierogies. I helped stuff the pierogies. We friend boiled then friend them up and ate them up real good.
Avatar 12:48pm Cheri Pi:

damn that sounds yumm-o dcp. The dolmas are ssooooo good, now.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:48pm tim from champaign:

Ignore the first "friend" and change the 2nd one to "fried". Sorry.
Avatar 12:48pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

I'll do my bit CP, unless I'm choking to a horrid, clawing end with that pointy stick lodged in the ol' cloaca of doom doom.
Avatar 12:49pm Cheri Pi:

if you choke, remember to press on your peplum to dislodge the cloaca blockage. Bye peeps!
Avatar 12:50pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

...is there a peplum, officer?
Avatar 12:50pm northguineahills:

I thought the pointy stick would come in handy when tracking down the elusive galloping grinder. But, if you eat the pointy stick, remember to marinate it first, so it will soften a bit.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:51pm Stevel:

Avatar 1:01pm Chris from DC:

Bobby was in pretty good shape at Deathfest, all things considered.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:05pm MD:

To quote Kilmiester....."I HAVE TWO WORDS FOR YOU....LOUD....ER!!!"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:06pm joe:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:40pm Stevel:

Sabbath was always so funky/groovy underneath.
Avatar 1:45pm Dave B:

Sabbath - 8/8 at Mohegan.

  1:50pm Vincent Priceless:

dang...missed the opening set of Stranglers tunes...still on high here from the fumes of that smokin' gig! Baz seems to have contributed to making the band sound leaner and meaner, if that's even possible. JJ and Dave are Gods among us mere mortals.
Avatar 1:53pm john_lisa:

Carcass 'Heartwork' is in the top 10 metal records of all time.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:56pm coe:

Phil has a great moment in Last Days Here as a matter of fact. Never was a Pantera fan so much but I think Phil is a real stand up guy and is very passionate about his love of music.
Avatar 1:57pm InBrkly:

Thanks Dave B
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:58pm coe:

Yeah they are playing at Brooklyn Bowl
Avatar 1:58pm Dave B:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:02pm coe:

Did anybody absolutely refuse to speak to you
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:05pm coe:

let me guess GEne Simmons
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:09pm tim from champaign:

What is the attitude taken toward nu-metal from musicians who were not related to that genre?
Avatar 2:09pm northguineahills:

habaneros, episote, onions in the refried beans (and cumin and corriander), chorizo done, now time to cook the tortillas.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:24pm coe:

Rammstein scares my wife. LOL
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:24pm Mike East:

  2:25pm Dave B:

WALK! (to the post office!)

Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:25pm tim from champaign:

Herbie Mann scares my wife.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:25pm Stevel:

Rammstein is very sensitive. No loud noises please.

Perhaps Pantera could speak to him.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:28pm coe:

I have all the respect in the world for Phil and pretty much all his other projects but I just think that if Pantera did not come around when they did nobody would really care about them and they would not be so damn overrated as is Dimebag's guitar playing. Although strangely enough Cemetery Gates is one of my favorite metal songs of all time otherwise they have nothing to offer me.
Avatar 2:29pm hamburger:

why did the rammstein shtick start?
Avatar 2:32pm InBrkly:

Or Earth taking it to country.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:36pm coe:
