The program formerly known as Seven Second Delay, and The Happiness Hut. Ken and Andy, also known as The Enema Boys, further lower WFMU's already abysmal standards on a weekly basis. Stunt radio which subjects the radio audience to concepts and topics which mature adults should not have to endure. Find the fatal flaw. (Visit homepage.)

Listener comments!

Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:03pm Matt from Springfield:

GO amEdeo & Friends!!! A capella themes 4EVAH!!!
Everybody clap!
  6:04pm Robert:

Yeah, but the playlist comments are new. But we could rerun them if you want.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:04pm Ike:

Aw, for a few seconds there, I thought amEdeo & co. were going to pretend to be Ken and Andy, and insist to all callers that they were actually Ken and Andy. Instead, just a rerun. Oh well.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:05pm Matt from Springfield:

@Ike: No but, GREAT idea for a 7SD fill-in! Why haven't they thought of that before? Someone should fill-in, pretending to be Ken and Andy, anyway :)
Avatar 6:05pm BadGuyZero:

Why is amEdeo trapped at the station?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:07pm Caryn:

@Ike: I thought that as well! That would be fantastic. The radio equivalent of Queen's "The Miracle" video.
Avatar 6:07pm Danne D:

Oh my.

A hidden gem.

Show already made.
  6:07pm P-90:

@ Ike:
Actually, that's a great idea for a fill-in (which def would have been better than a mere rerun.)
Avatar 6:07pm Danne D:

Andrea seems like she's been all over the station lately :)

I'm assuming Andrea was the co-singer there :)
  6:08pm Robert:

I thought they were going to perform to a transcript of an installment. But that's been done here, hasn't it?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:08pm Matt from Springfield:

@BGZ: I think it's more like Clay & Julie's monumental Hurricane Irene fill-in: amEdeo's not so much trapped in the station, but he's blocked the doors and trapping the others OUT of the station!

And, hi BGZ! Robert, Ike, Caryn, Danne, P-90, and all Delayers!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:09pm Matt from Springfield:

Story of the Flood copyrighted 1909...? Does he mean the Sumerian year 1909, for 3554 BC??
  6:10pm 50s Square:

What in tarnation is this?! Put the Sun Ra back on!
Avatar 6:11pm Danne D:

With one breath.
With one flow.
You will know.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:11pm Matt from Springfield:

Too bad the technology behind Bad Company's "Bad Company" was not yet utilized to "BC" callers back in '94...
Avatar 6:11pm Danne D:

I miss Mick from Lodi. :(

"Todd-o-phonic Todd: The Early Years"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:17pm Caryn:

The verification reminds me of how the hospital my mother worked at verified a virgin birth. Never went public with it, but gave the mother a paper certifying that her delivery had been a virgin birth. So, not as surprised as this guy that verifications don't lead to making things public.
Avatar 6:18pm Danne D:

Poor guy - didn't read the back of the ticket. He probably never collected his lottery winnings.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:19pm cklequ:

"Let's get serious" ha!
Avatar 6:22pm Danne D:

Dude was kinda close 7/99 is pretty close to 9/01, no?
Avatar 6:24pm amEdeo:

I am here just to say "Carl Jung Sux"
Avatar 6:24pm Danne D:

I assure you that I did not call this particular episode.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:24pm kevin g:

This guy really should've listened to an episode of the show before agreeing to participate.
  6:25pm common:

ah...94...oh wait, it sucked
Avatar 6:26pm amEdeo:

I can also assure you that I did not call in, as I was three at the time this was recorded, and the only radio I knew was a smooth jazz station.
  6:29pm Benedict C.:

Listening to smooth jazz at 3 yrs.?
That's pretty precocious!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:29pm G:

Carl Young is old hat
Avatar 6:29pm Danne D:

Isadora Duncan I think he means, no?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:30pm Lizardner Dave:

Man, I can't wait to hear the rest of this on archive. It's compelling, but not enough to keep me at the office for another half hour when my work is done for the day.
Avatar 6:30pm Danne D:

@amEdeo - Funny thing is, I think Todd prophesizes about your appearance as a DJ on FMU later on in the show :)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:30pm Matt from Springfield:

Brilliant in its way; this show is really making fun of all such call-in shows! But Todd doesn't know it!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:33pm Matt from Springfield:

@Benedict: It's probably what the 'rents had on--that was the case for me in my younger years. To its credit, it introduced me to George Benson and other such "smooth R&B" of the 70s that's disappeared from the rest of the dial (as well as some kitsch stuff, like Gino Vannelli!)
Avatar 6:33pm amEdeo:

Jung is "sheer bosh". EAT IT JUNG.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:33pm Matt from Springfield:

The Chicago astronomers love DUHHHHHH BEARS!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:34pm Matt from Springfield:

@Todd: See you next Tuesday, then! ;)
Avatar 6:35pm amEdeo:

@Cumberbatch: Smooth Jazz forever.

man...every time i talk to my dad he brings up dave grusin
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:36pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Imagine what people will think of present-day 7SD shows in 13 years.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:37pm cklequ:

I think it's unbelievable that this is the one response they got from a classified ad.

And i'm pretty sure that when he says he won the lottery, it means he bought a few winning scratch off tickets.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:37pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Zats...now that I don't get math practice when I enter comments, I forgot that 1994 was 19 years ago, not 13.
  6:37pm P-90:

@common: hahaha!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:39pm Matt from Springfield:

Dr. Katz! He receives advice from a cartoon psychiatrist!

@Ken: Gadzooks! The FS is melting our brain's math sectors!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:40pm Matt from Springfield:

Wow. For once, Andy is spot on!...(Many people who say they have an open mind really don't--the ones who emphasize it being more suspect)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:41pm Matt from Springfield:

Weiss's bookstore on 23rd...anyone know if it's still there?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:42pm Matt from Springfield:

@cklequ: They probably got more responses, but selected Todd as being the most "committed" of their respondents.
Avatar 6:42pm amEdeotrAmus:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:43pm Matt from Springfield:

Sexpot Todd, the Pervy Photog and his COCKamamie stories!

Avatar 6:44pm amEdeo:

Never gets old, P-90.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:45pm Matt from Springfield:

Oh wow, thank you caller from 19 years ago for answering my present question! WAIT A MINUTE....!!!!!!!!!!! IT HAS BEEN PRE-TOLD!!!!!!

p-90: sorry, still working. glad you got a laugh! grusin.
Avatar 6:45pm Danne D:

Abel Raises Cain.

Great movie about Alan Abel.

Check it out.
  6:45pm Roy:

hey doesn't anyone think this guy sounds eerily similar to robert anton wilson, famed conspiracy theory theorist
Avatar 6:46pm BadGuyZero:

I was still married when this show happened.
  6:46pm common:

hey badguyzero...me too. ooof
Avatar 6:48pm Danne D:

Somewhere today. Todd is listening and pretty pissed that they actually did tape the show.
  6:48pm P-90:

Cool idea, but I met RAW on several occasions and heard him speak at various events, and "Todd" aint him.
Avatar 6:48pm amEdeo:

Wait how did Todd not foresee the results of the show? Shouldn't he already knnow how people would react?
  6:49pm admiralaardvark:

I want to believe.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:49pm Matt from Springfield:

"The lyric "if you see Kay" (F-U-C-K) has been employed many times, including by blues pianist Memphis Slim in 1963, R. Stevie Moore in 1977, April Wine on its 1982 album Power Play, the Poster Children via their 'Junior Citizen' in 1995, and Turbonegro in 2005, as well as a line from James Joyce's 1922 novel Ulysses."
  6:50pm P-90:

You knew "The Catcher in the Rye " was going to come into this at some point...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:50pm Matt from Springfield:

@Danne: And allow everyone to listen on demand and download it too! :)
  6:51pm Dallen:

a gift and a curse, eh?
Avatar 6:51pm Danne D:

Andy remembers more about this story of Todd's than anything else in the entire history of the show, combined.
Avatar 6:57pm BadGuyZero:

Old P.O. Box. Don't send mail to that address.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:58pm Matt from Springfield:

Public, sarcastic mention of unverified Internet information! Pioneering show, indeed!
Avatar 6:59pm Danne D:

He's the original Prepper!
Avatar 7:00pm Danne D:

What a classic.
Avatar 7:00pm Danne D:

Later folks :)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:01pm Matt from Springfield:

Well since my question was asked and then pre-answered, I just the prophecy has been fulfilled and the show over! :)

Have a good evening, everyone!
