Avatar 3:10pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

Peace be with you.
Avatar 3:11pm Sem Chumbo:

And with you, also.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:12pm DCE:

hi Fabio, RTD. Say, why does the home page keep going back to the first time I opened the window this morning? Oh hi Sem Chumbo too.
Avatar 3:12pm Cheri Pi:

Hello der eh?
Avatar 3:13pm Sem Chumbo:

Ah, CP: french AND Canadian.
Avatar 3:14pm Cheri Pi:

My people are from tthe U.P.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:15pm DCE:

your people are not from this galaxy
Avatar 3:15pm Cheri Pi:

RTD, the missing Mellotron has been located. read your "tags" later...
Avatar 3:16pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

listening through the glorious fog of a killer cold/fever/whatsit. A head fulla lethal doses of Vitamin X enhancing the experience, no doubt.
Avatar 3:16pm Cheri Pi:

True, DCE, too true.
Avatar 3:16pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

HA! Saw that but have been too off my face (see above) to respond with any sense...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:16pm DCE:

the Case of the Missing Mellotron? Encyclopedia Brown couldn't solve that one!
Avatar 3:17pm Cheri Pi:

I'm sending the healing strength of Beer to you RTD. May you feel better as time allows.
Avatar 3:20pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

ooh, perhaps the healing rays of an Old Rasputin Stout would do what a bushel of tangerines have failed to...?
Avatar 3:20pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

LOVE the sounds, btw. Carry on.
Avatar 3:21pm Cheri Pi:

It's the stuff of legend DCE, local yoopers make good on an influencial prog-record which sends them spiraling to fame thanks to a mention by Hemsley in Wire, Cope can't "deal" and must own their mellotron for himself. unfortunately it belongs to an agricultural college and is under lock and key... stay tuned for the next episode...RASPUTIN! great idea Dr. Turnip.
Avatar 3:22pm Chris from DC:

Oh yes.
Avatar 3:22pm Cheri Pi:

Isn't Expo 70 a dedication from last week? was it someone's birthday?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:24pm Mike East:

can somebody finish up all the work on my desk for me so I can focus on the show today?
Avatar 3:25pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

star-clicking like a soiled bastard over here.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:25pm DCE:

open the window, Mike, and out it goes, and you're done
  3:25pm ?:

heavy 'Obscured by Clouds' vibe with this Expo 70
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:28pm DCE:

sitting at my desk reviewing a nice stack of Experimedia vinyl that just arrived...
  3:28pm Andra:

Hey. Has anyone ever heard this recording of various sounds from space? I have it at home in CD and I can't think of what it is called. I think Nasa provided the sounds, from like satellites and all sorts of stuff--but it is whatever is in space, not the machines. Very cool, just what you would imagine. Hey, has anyone ever recorded the sounds of a cloud?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:32pm DCE:

I know what you're talking about...I heard it once a couple years ago at a party in the woods...but I can't recall what it's called
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:34pm steve:

hey everybody. whats the story with the missing Mellotron??
  3:35pm Andra:

@DCE--sounds like a nice place to hear it. Also, maybe at extremely loud volume in a basement while altering one's consciousness (oh but that was the past).
Avatar 3:35pm Loren:

Konet Project?
Avatar 3:37pm Cheri Pi:

Mystery solved steve- Cope seems to have spirited away "Auld Velveeta" for a photo-shoot but she's back where she belongs thanks to those nosy kids.
Avatar 3:37pm Loren:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:39pm Ike:

Hey everybody.
Swag For Life Member 3:41pm Ralphine:

Andra: Symphonies of the Planets, I think.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:41pm steve:

so Julian Cope "stole" his own bright orange Mellotron?
Avatar 3:44pm ottovonbqe:

  3:44pm Dave in PA:

Avatar 3:45pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

...the velveetatron...
Avatar 3:47pm Cheri Pi:

Oh he wishes it was his own; she's back safe and sound under the coach/sound-lab guard's watchful eye. JC is banned for life at BGU-tech now. OR until he writes a written apology.
Avatar 3:50pm dc pat:

Avatar 3:51pm Cheri Pi:

Velveetatron: the best live-bait money can't buy for prog-hunting season. look who showed up on her hooks w/o even trying? Sure we had to throw him back due to his size...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:51pm steve:

can't blame him really. id probably wrap my arms around that thing and never let go.
Avatar 3:53pm Cheri Pi:

Avatar 3:55pm dc pat:

Avatar 4:00pm Cheri Pi:

Avatar 4:45pm northguineahills:

was going to make a Neubauten joke w/ NSB, but I thought it would be in bad taste after the events in Dhaka.
Swag For Life Member 4:48pm Ralphine:

I thought I heard a couple of riffs from Metal Machine Music.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:48pm Carmichael:

Avatar 5:02pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:20pm Carmichael:

These guys don't need any of those complicated chord changes.
Swag For Life Member 5:21pm Ralphine:

I remember hearing Celestial Power on Gateway to Joy many moons ago.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:26pm Uncle Michael:

This is a gateway to something.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:27pm Carmichael:

I'll let you know when I arrive there.
Avatar 5:28pm northguineahills:

Didn't Henry Flynt self-release Celestial power on CD in 2000?
  5:28pm Prince:

Diggin' the ideas. Time to hit the studio.
Avatar 5:35pm northguineahills:

Forcucci, I dig-dug faved!
Avatar 5:41pm northguineahills:

Star light, Star bright.... Neil Campbell can do no wrong (well, musically at least).
Avatar 5:49pm northguineahills:

  5:59pm tinkle bear:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:59pm Matt from Springfield:

Good Lord, Felipe! Were they like New Agey and wearing native Inca clothing down there? ;)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:59pm Carmichael:

I wandered around the Haight as a pre-teen back in the day, and saw the real-deal actual hippie types. Not a pretty thing up close.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:00pm Matt from Springfield:

@tinkle bear: That's what happens when the American toilet can no longer stand what we're shoving down it!
