Good morning, amEdeo and company!

nice .gif!

That new Neil Gaiman episode of Dr. Who was kind of disappointing, partly because it was too rushed. (They aren't doing two-parters anymore and if any show absolutely requires two-parters, it's this one.) Maybe my expectations were too high. It had some good bits though.
Avatar 3:39am amEdeo:

Good mornings all! Why no more two-parters?
Avatar 3:41am w41:

This is exactly the song I wanted to hear right now!! Unbelievable
Avatar 3:42am w41:

Thanks amEdeo!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:42am Ike:

The 2nd parts supposedly always get worse ratings? I don't buy that. BBC mgmt. being idiots makes more sense.
Avatar 3:42am nah:

@w41: I feel the same!
Avatar 3:43am amEdeo:

Ahaw, thanks! I knew that collective mind synchronization potion was going to be worth while! And all it cost me was...
Avatar 3:45am w41:

when I hear it I always remember this version: www.youtube.com...
Avatar 3:45am w41:

breaking recorders on the stage is tough, man!

Avatar 3:48am amEdeo:

Yeah, that seems like pretty faulty logic on the BBC's part. Especially with how the show's been running for the last few years.
Avatar 3:48am nah:

Swedish rock band bob hund made a cover as well, translated lyrics and all. It's pretty good.

Avatar 3:50am w41:

@nah ah, who hasn't... but yeah, groovy!
Avatar 3:53am amEdeo:

WHOAAAEEEE. Thanks w41! That is all kinds of delightful nutty nuts! And thanks, nah too! It's one of those songs that I delight in finding good covers of.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:00am Matt F:

Hey Amedeo. Still feeling the aftereffects of yesterday's dosa overdosa.
Avatar 4:00am amEdeo:

Anyone know where I can get a nice denim jacket?
Avatar 4:02am amEdeo:

Oh jeebie creebie. Hey, Fiveash-- I passed out when I got home for almost four hours. It was nuts.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:02am Ike:

Wow, I couldn't stand this Knife album the first few times I tried to listen to it, but I like this track.
Avatar 4:04am BadGuyZero:

Are you permitted to reveal the name of the record store that was visited during the group outing?
Avatar 4:05am amEdeo:

Yes. I think it is a good album. Maybe not what you might expect from The Knife. But then again, who can say what The Knife doing an opera about Charles Darwin sounds like except for The Knife themselves. But I find it to be very... soothing, in a sensical way.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:06am Ike:

Sri Ganesh's Dosa House?
Avatar 4:10am amEdeo:

The dosa place was called "Dosa Express" I think? It wasn't in Jersey City. Not sure about the record place, but the guy who ran it was named Greg Winter.
Avatar 4:11am BadGuyZero:

Thank you for the info!

Malmö represent! Sort of anyway. Nice to hear some locals on here. I can also recommend Bäddat för Trubbel.
