Afternoon, Fools! It's getting so I expect every Memorial Playlister to have been on the Twilight Zone. John was in "Night of the Meek" with Art Carney!
  1:12pm mark in toronto:

loved john fiedler on the Bob Newhart Show
Avatar 1:14pm Green Mountain Man Mark:

was he in Fiedler on the Roof?
Avatar 🌮 Swag For Life Member 1:21pm G:

no, he was Arthur Fiedler's more talented cousin.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:29pm Greg from Bloomfield:

I can't even imagine the elation one would feel digging through records and seeing a label that says "Flat Top" by "Your Ole Hillbilly Buddy Dave Farley."
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:41pm Chris in TX via RI:

Twilight Zone is now on Netflix. As is Alfred Hitchcock. Pretty awesome.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:50pm Greg from Bloomfield:

Agreed. If you haven't seen "A Game Of Pool" 150 times, then you really haven't seen it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:56pm Chris in TX via RI:

It's sad that those things have disappeared from culture. I'm 29 and I had a younger friend over here one day and he had no clue what The Twilight Zone was or who Alfred Hitchcock was. And he probably couldn't identify most of the records on my shelf.
Avatar 1:57pm Green Mountain Man Mark:

Did Fiedler put on that high pitched voice or was he naturally voiced that way?
Avatar 2:06pm Andy in Berlin:

He seems to have made a nice career playing Piglet in various Pooh movies.
Avatar 2:07pm Andy in Berlin:

...a Sterling Holloway for a new generation

There's a Twilight Zone Marathon every year on sci-fi beginning at midnite new year's eve...what a way to start the year!
Avatar 2:10pm Juke Joint Jonny:

Enough with the John Fiedler trivia, who can i.d. the frog?
Avatar 🌮 2:10pm Tony in Durham NC:

Just got my LITTLE GREEN MEN CD a while ago! It's a party favorite here!
Avatar 2:11pm Juke Joint Jonny:

Re: Little Green Men: I just saw the dude on the cover riding the L train an hour ago.

Avatar 🌮 2:14pm Tony in Durham NC:

Oh snap! You just played one.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:14pm Greg from Bloomfield:

@Tony: 4th of July Marathon too!
Avatar 🌮 2:15pm Tony in Durham NC:

Now I wanna know who played Mr. Ed. Howzat for a theme?
Avatar 2:20pm Green Mountain Man Mark:

for some reason this Schlock Rod makes me think or The Dead Milkmen and Bitchen Camero.
Avatar 2:21pm Andy in Berlin:

I used to have this Jan and Dean record! Haven't heard it in decades!
Avatar 2:24pm Green Mountain Man Mark:

aya mustafa bin loaded
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:37pm Greg from Bloomfield:

Rex, have you ever done an all Cha-Cha comp for a premium? If not, can I put in a request?
Avatar 2:37pm Juke Joint Jonny:

"Not you, crum bum." Crum bum was the favorite epithet of the great saloon keeper Toots Shor, for those who care!
Avatar 2:39pm Juke Joint Jonny:

Ooo, good one, Greg! Cha-cha preem would be hot!
Avatar 🌮 2:48pm Tony in Durham NC:

Did someone say "cha-cha"? Honey, put on yer cha-cha heels!
