Avatar 3:13am Bill Mac:

Good Morning all and we're back. Just wanted to let you know we'll be spending one of my last days here as a 54 year visitor - yep one more nail into the old wooden crate. I feel GOOD though, so lets get to it!
Avatar 3:13am w41:

Good morning, Bill and company. Bill, could you remind the title of a Chinese song played in the break?
Avatar 3:13am Andy in Berlin:

Good morning Bill!
Avatar 3:14am Bill Mac:

Sure thin dubble-yuh! And a big hulloe to all - yo Andrew!
Avatar 3:16am w41:

I figured it out, thanks :)
  3:17am Martyn:

Good morning young Bill.
Avatar 3:17am Andy in Berlin:

55 huh? You young whippersnapper!
Avatar 3:21am Bill Mac:

Morning Martyn, and thanks to both of you for helping me justify my denial issues... only as old as you feel, right?
Avatar 3:32am Steve R:

Brought home in a 57 Nomad.
Avatar 3:34am Bill Mac:

Nice, Steve - didja just lay in the back?
Avatar 3:39am w41:

Adrian Belew, wow
Avatar 3:39am Steve R:

Avatar 3:40am Looms:

  3:41am Jaime L:

Avatar 3:51am Brian in UK:

Mornin' Bill & friends
Avatar 3:53am Bill Mac:

Mornin Brian KP and Mark. Brian, got the care package. Opened the show with Rheinalt. Nice stuff, thanks.
Avatar 3:53am w41:

I'm totally gonna listen to Discipline after this show's over :)
Avatar 3:54am w41:

it's only talk!
Avatar 3:54am Bill Mac:

That's a good 'un. My favorite Crimson disk.
Avatar 3:54am Andy in Berlin:

so speaking of Viv Stanshall (sp?) I remember hearing about a show he did at the Bottom Line where he appeared with a performing robot that either caught fire or exploded or both. Not deliberately, as I heard it.
Avatar 3:55am Steve R:

Avatar 3:55am Brian in UK:

Missed the early bits, Bill. I am guesing there aint no sense sitting on a fence all by yourself in the moonlight.
Those words are as true today as they were when written.
Avatar 3:57am w41:

Ehm, Discipline is a great album, but Red really stands beyond compare
Avatar 3:57am Brian in UK:

@Andy it might have had something to do with Roger Ruckin Spear. He was the gadget man. The Leg which was a kind of theremin.
Avatar 4:00am Bill Mac:

@W41 -= Should not have rushed along with that comment. Discipline was my first Crimson epiphany.
Avatar 4:02am KP:

So what's up in JC. Moving has been hard work. Lemme tell ya.
Avatar 4:05am w41:

That would be swell, Mr. Mac!
Avatar 4:06am Bill Mac:

JC is good, tame now that the weather is mellow. You got all your stuff in one place I take it?
Avatar 4:06am Bill Mac:

The leg was a theremin?! Who knew!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:07am Stanley:

Good morning Bill and fellow listeners, I've finally made it to the party
Avatar 4:08am Bill Mac:

Stanley, take them socks off and come on in!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:11am Stanley:

Acid blues? You wanna 'em. You got 'em.
I'm gonna grow fins, myself one of these days.
Avatar 4:13am Looms:

Wow, Arrington! Is the album already out?
Avatar 4:14am Steve R:

O Captain! My Captain!
Avatar 4:17am Jay/London:

hey made it over slept had some pain with tooth better now morning Bill And all
Avatar 4:19am w41:

Oh yeah! The latest Crimson acoustic guitar song from 1972! :o)
Avatar 4:19am Bill Mac:

Hey-de-ho Jay, Ambesol that sucker and relax.
Avatar 4:20am Bill Mac:

Avatar 4:26am w41:

I wish I could go see Fripp, but I'm not visiting US in the near future.
Avatar 4:26am KP:

Bill, your heavily UK crowd will appreciate I am twittering with my London "girlfriend " while listening in. She is v. hip
Avatar 4:28am Bill Mac:

Is she listening in too? That would be VERY hip!
Avatar 4:30am Brian in UK:

@Jay sorry to hear about your knashers. Has anyone ever tied their tooth to a string and a door handle for a quick extraction?
Avatar 4:32am Brian in UK:

Bill are you still on the sticks?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:34am Stanley:

Sounds like a Danish(?) Ivor Cutler.
Avatar 4:35am KP:

I can't get her to, let me try again. Oh that girlfriend remark won't look good.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:35am Stanley:

Might have been Flemish, couldn't tell.
Avatar 4:37am Looms:

Patrick Conrad is Flemish (= Belgian)
Avatar 4:37am Jay/London:

@ Brian Am sure people have done that .. I am going back to dentist on the 8th in the mean time no sugar or drinks
Avatar 4:39am Brian in UK:

Could he not be from Wallonia?
Avatar 4:41am Steve R:

The Three Stooges pull a tooth out
Avatar 4:43am Brian in UK:

Getting back into listening to Hildegard of Bingen. Unaccompanied choral, bit like William Byrd. Lovely. Les rallizes denudes started me thinking of that.
Avatar 4:43am Bill Mac:

I found a picture of Curly with a hairline a few weeks back. He looks a lot like Moe.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:45am Stanley:

...or W C Fields pulling teeth.
Avatar 4:45am Jay/London:

Thanks Steve .. that made me feel better .... not
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:45am mistergee (dorset):

love Gnod - yes they are based in the north of england, and have done some great stuff with White Hills: "These Mancunian sorcerers suck drone, psych, afro-germanic groove, free jazz firepower and all the world besides through a portal into somewhere better/wilder/other.."

The line-up shrinks and swells as the music rotates & expands to reach new frontiers and other worlds.
Avatar 4:46am Jay/London:

thanks guys enough with the teeth pulling
Avatar 4:46am Bill Mac:

I just got a look at their bio - wish they were coming here. They just toured Europe last month
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:46am Stanley:

Band of the moment.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:47am mistergee (dorset):

Gnod site: ingnodwetrust.tumblr.com
Avatar 4:48am Bill Mac:

Anybody find footage (no pun intended) of a dentists putting a foot on the patient's face for leverage? I hate when that happens...
Avatar 4:48am Looms:

Ah Jay, I felt like getting into it ;) Take care of yourself.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:48am mistergee (dorset):

yes stanley sure are -
Avatar 4:48am Brian in UK:

In Gnod we rust.
Avatar 4:49am Bill Mac:

This kicks galactic tribal 'nads...
Avatar 4:50am Brian in UK:

I've had the knee on the chest for leverage afore now. She was a pretty gal for a dentist. When I say was I mean is.
Avatar 4:51am Brian in UK:

Rocket Recordings. Is that Elton Johns label?
Avatar 4:51am Bill Mac:

Avatar 4:54am w41:

So many cool songs... Bill, play Elephant Talk, please.
Avatar 4:56am Steve R:

Five bands for £5.

Avatar 5:16am Looms:

Heard Swans' Failure in a dream last night.
Avatar 5:17am Bill Mac:

Coming to Paris 5/25.... another new album next year... weee!
Avatar 5:19am Looms:

Avatar 5:21am Brian in UK:

Looms, I guess you have heard this. Scroll down three or four times for Swans.
Avatar 5:22am w41:

Many thanks, Bill. This (compared to Red) again shows us how there's no single band called King Crimson, but many different bands just using the same name for convenience :)
Avatar 5:22am Brian in UK:

I used to own the single of 'In the Court of the Crimson King'. Just saying.
Avatar 5:23am Looms:

Of course I did, Brian. It was a great WFMU moment.
Avatar 5:23am Brian in UK:

@w41 The Kings of Convenience?
Avatar 5:24am Bill Mac:

Did they edit out the free form sax blowout? Funny that would've been released in 45 format but that's the 70's for you.
Avatar 5:25am w41:

In the Court of the Crimson Convenience
Avatar 5:26am Bill Mac:

Bravo W41!
Avatar 5:26am Brian in UK:

Three Chairs for Bill's show.
Yip yip Coyote.

Think it was 60s Bill. Double sided single.
Avatar 5:28am Bill Mac:

Like Don McLean's 'American Pie' - first 1/2 of the song on side 1, exciting conclusion on side 2.
Avatar 5:28am Steve R:

I wonder what was on the b-side?
Avatar 5:29am Brian in UK:

Bye the bye, Bill; Rawlinson End will take some absorbing. Very wordy, but you are the man for the job.
Avatar 5:29am Bill Mac:

The 1st thing that struck me about that album was the artwork...
Avatar 5:31am Brian in UK:

I thought the first Supergrass cover took something from the first Crimson cover art.
Avatar 5:33am Brian in UK:

@ Steve R It was a plain Island pink sleeve like Traffic's Paper Sun. Loved that Island Pink colour
Avatar 5:45am Looms:

Busy cooking but enying the set
Avatar 5:48am Jay/London:

love this set just right .. have not put on the everly brothers for some time
Avatar 5:48am Brian in UK:
