What I learned (and no surprise in retrospect) was that natural athletes are natural athletes, no matter what game they're taking up; and that bookish nerds remain bookish nerds, and are as likely to drop or fear a new type of ball as an old. Oh, also: if someone invites you to stand at Silly Mid On, beware.
