Good Morning Bill Happy few days off ... Pigtoe is that about your leg ? I am going to the Zoo in a few Hours so will not be able to be here for the whole show today
Avatar 3:10am Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

Anyone out there who has Internet Explorer? As your only browser, or as an optional choice? I need some quick testers.
Avatar 3:13am Steve R:

IE 8 at your service

Two-part test!
1) Click any of the star icons over to the left. Does this little white menu show up with a "Favorite" option? Favorite something!
2) Visit my profile page: www.wfmu.org...
Scroll down to the Favorites section. Do I have a whole bunch of things favorited, and you can scroll through my Favorite songs?

Thanks for indulging, Bill. This is for the greater good.
Avatar 3:18am Bill Mac:

Hey All! Happy Holy Saturdee!!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:19am I X Key!:

I would like a non-Caturday bagel & cream cheese, please! Make sure it doesn't look like a cat!
  3:23am M:

@Kenzo...scrolling the favorites now works in IE8
Avatar 3:24am KP:

Tommy Guerrero sounds great.
Avatar 3:25am Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

Excellent! I really need an IE 9 tester (Windows Vista or Windows 7).
  3:27am M:

@kenzo... white menu box also shows up
Avatar 3:27am Looms:

HI Bill!
Avatar 3:28am Looms:

Kenzo: IE 9 on Windows 7 here, can I help?
Avatar 3:31am Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

Ooh, Looms, yes. Can you scroll up to my two-part test, and try it out?
Avatar 3:36am Looms:

Works fine, Kenzo.
Avatar 3:37am Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

Great, thanks. I appreciate your both trying it out.

(2) Yes to favorites
Aw fug, I'm outdated
  3:39am M:

@Kenzo... is there any reason why when using IE8 i have to refresh the page to see the latest comments
Avatar 3:45am Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

Thanks, Steve! @M: Looking into it.
Avatar 3:51am Looms:

Kenzo, it seems I have the same problem as M on EI 9 & EI 9 64bits). Gotta use the basic mode.
I also have a white stripe on the "sign in - Register - WFMU Home" section of the accuplaylist which doesn't appear with Firefox.
Avatar 3:52am Jay/London:

remember all those people in The UK clocks go forward tonight !
Avatar 3:53am Brian in UK:

Mornin' Bill & everyone.
Just been to seen this Marcel Duchamp exhibition. To think he was doing this one hundred years ago. The founder of conceptual art. He has some questions to answer if he did but know it.
  3:53am Marmalade Kitty:

Good morning Bill & CO! Well done Kenzo! :)

  4:05am M:

@Kenzo.... thanks for all your hard work
  4:06am Marmalade Kitty:

Brian, Majik band were just that! Amazing how close Drumbo's vocal performance is to the Captain! I bought a copy of Beefheart Through The Eyes of Magic by John French. All of the band signed it and off the cuff wrote a little something that Don might have said :)
Avatar 4:11am Brian in UK:

Cool MK. A friend of mine went to see the Captain early 70s, he went to the john as I believe some might say. When he was doing what he has to he realises that on one side is the Captain and the other is John Peel. Needless to say he did not shake hands with them.
Avatar 4:11am Brian in UK:

Bill it was my bad spelling
Avatar 4:14am Bill Mac:

Doesn't matter how it's spelt....
Avatar 4:16am Looms:

I Am Not Insane was a 1000 limited CD series, it was a fundraising release. Backing vocals on My Lazy Clown by Siobhan Duffy.

btw, great performance during the Finale, Bill! Your "crutches dance" was amazing.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:18am Stanley:

Mornin' all.
Ready, willing and able.
Avatar 4:18am Bill Mac:

His wife these days I understand - thanks for the info Looms.
Ahhh, thanks! As I told Brian earlier, it was nice to "croon" a bit, and the crutches are on film for posterity.
Avatar 4:18am Bill Mac:

Stanley what is up!
  4:20am Marmalade Kitty:

what Don might have said...I think it was Danny who wrote in the book; "The stars are matter, we're matter.. but it doesn't matter!"
Drumbo wrote: "Interest fades like breath on a mirror.."
and Rocket wrote: "..If you don't know why do you ask!" :D
  4:22am Marmalade Kitty:

The whole band were so nice! They came out to the bar during the interval and again after the show to spend time with us lot! I remember buying the drummer a drink
Avatar 4:22am Bill Mac:

Nice, quotes and a lyric for good measure, how thoughtful. Hope they come back here for some dates.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:28am Stanley:

Aw Nik Turnip.
That takes me back to the good old days when I wasn't there.
Is this new?
Avatar 4:29am Bill Mac:

Old.... 1994...there's an entire Hawkwind movie on youtube. Never finished watching it.

@Mrs Stanley. Is there no Ernie round your way?
  4:46am Marmalade Kitty:

I got to see Arthur brown *The crazy world of..* the following week.. I've been spoiled for bands recently!
Avatar 4:46am Bill Mac:

@Mrs Stanley Gonna have to start doing podcasts to get him out of the house earlier.
Avatar 4:47am Bill Mac:

Wow, Hows Art doing these days? He's gotta be in his 70s.
Avatar 4:48am Jay/London:

@ brian I have not seen a Erine in many years
Avatar 4:48am Brian in UK:

Mr Brown used to be a teacher. Can you imagine his classes.
  4:49am Mrs Stanley:

Avatar 4:54am Brian in UK:

Ernie was a hit for
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:55am Stanley:

What you all talkng about?
  4:57am Marmalade Kitty:

He was awsome! all in one flares suit with painted face! Dancing like a cat.. he's a mover alright :) I see Nick Cave's possible influence. I didn't really know what to expect of him, haven't really heard that much material. Although I listened to a couple of albums from '71 and '72 which i enjoyed.. Young band behind him and a female lead guitarist which was good to see.
Avatar 4:58am Brian in UK:

Sorry bit of balls up there
Avatar 4:58am Jay/London:

it was a song by Benny hill Bill Erine the fastest milk man in the west

Avatar 5:07am Bill Mac:

Avatar 5:08am Brian in UK:

He was RCAs boy for years
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:09am Stanley:

This new Bowie track - its all right (I suppose). Doesn't really take you anywhere though.
Avatar 5:10am Bill Mac:

Didn't he produce T-Rex's stuff too?
Avatar 5:11am Bill Mac:

I know whatcha mean, Stanley. That's what I get for putting faith in some old guard music critic - worth a check I guess.
Avatar 5:11am Brian in UK:

Chuck Berry was responsible for Marc Bolans output.
Avatar 5:11am Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

@Marmalade, @looms, @Steve, @M, and other IE friends...switch ye comments back into "fancy mode." The auto update might be working in IE now!
Avatar 5:15am Looms:

The only Killing Joke gig I've attended (Pandemonium tour, when Jaz Coleman was still jumping like crazy) was so loud that we had to get outside at times. Not a memorable moment to me, though their metal fan audience went really wild.
Avatar 5:16am Looms:

Avatar 5:16am Bill Mac:

@Looms Wow and you're a Swans fan. Might need to reconsider that one.
  5:17am Marmalade Kitty:

Avatar 5:28am Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

Oh, hooray.
Avatar 5:28am Brian in UK:

Kenzo rules. Let's hear it for the man.
Avatar 5:28am Looms:

Bill, I enjoyed KJ when Paul Ferguson was on drums, that's why I might have been a bit bored.
Swans play loud too but not the same way - lots of "ups & downs" if you see what I mean. KJ tracks were just flat and useless packs of decibels during this show.
  5:28am Marmalade Kitty:

Thanks Kenzo
  5:29am Tomek:

PL tunes on WFMU. La la la la la!
Avatar 5:30am Looms:

la la la la la la laaa too!
Avatar 5:32am Andy in Berlin:

@Jay Colin used to live here in Berlin. Haven't heard anything from/about him in many many years though.
Avatar 5:34am Bill Mac:

@Looms:I absolutely get that. There's a wall of sound there but a dynamic quality to the Swans
Avatar 5:35am Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

Is anyone using Safari, or a mobile browser?
Avatar 5:35am Brian in UK:

@Andy I used to listen to his show on Radio multikulti. Sad to say it closed down. He ran Kartini records out of Berlin too.

Oh yeah, my Irish Dad used to tell me to keep mum about my Uke heritage...
Avatar 5:48am Brian in UK:

Great mix today, Bill. Better get a wriggle on. So little to do so much time.
Have a cool Easter folks.
  5:49am Tomek:

I hope one day there will be some kind of European "nationality" too.

  5:53am Tomek:

Do you think Kim is listening WFMU on his iMac?
Avatar 5:54am Bill Mac:

I'd like that! I could play some Disney soundtrack music for him.
Avatar 5:54am Brian in UK:

Tomek do not talk about football. World Cup, we never got over winning it in 1966.
I made some zurek soup the other week I liked it but the rest of the family were not very keen.
