When my family moved to Arizona when I was a little kid I remember my dad, brother, and uncles stopping the truck and chasing around rattle snakes they saw crossing the road. And then they got out pistols and shot at the snakes. And they skinned them and made stuff out of the skins. I watched in fascination as I sat in the truck.

Besides dreaming of a snake infestation at a family gathering last night...We were hiking in an area with numerous warnings about the deadliness of Cottonmouths and my friends jumped over one crossing our path. I stopped to look at it and it stopped to look at me. I had to resist reaching out to it.

When I lived in Beer Bong USA Midwest College Town, there were these trustafarians across the street who would randomly start blasting Bob Marley or Dr Dre at 3 am Tuesday morning. I had revenge fantasies of rigging up super huge amps outside their windows and blasting Wolf Eyes at full volume at 7 am.
Avatar 10:13am

So far, my only real encounters with snakes involved these wittle garden snakes that used to thrive in my garden. Even so, they were rare to come across. No big biters or anything. My life lacks excitement.

A magician was performing at a cousins wedding years ago at our local VFW. Yes, the wedding and the reception were in the VFW. He had a little wooden snake that was stiff. And when he gave it to some kids it went limp every time and they giggled. He asked the kids gathered around how a snake smells. Most kids know from early on in science class that snaked smell with their tongues so they shouted "with its tongue!" then he asked them how a snake tastes. No response as they were dumfounded. He said "Like chicken!" and snake does taste like chicken I have eaten it before.
