Listener comments!

  9:06pm
Joe B:

Go Todd-o-phonic! back for more!
  9:20pm
Andrew Waterloo:

Bonjour!
  9:21pm
efd:

I would like to lodge a formal complaint regarding the title of this show.
  9:25pm
Andrew Waterloo:

wasn't this the Even Davis "Funk" Show?
  9:27pm
AWS from MP:

Todd-o-phonic - chameleon dj extraordinaire - lighting up another shitty night in NJ
  9:29pm
Andrew Waterloo:

yah, shit weather in my neighbourhood too
  9:43pm
efd:

You're playing my song!
  9:44pm
efd:

Also I missed the very beginning, but on behalf of my cousin Bev Bevan "Funk" Davies thank you for playing The Move.
  9:46pm
Fiveash:

I was half listening and then I heard "Calvin Schiraldi". Now you have my full attention...
  10:03pm
zotz:

That's a name to conjure with..
  10:08pm
dpcd:

Todd, you are so right. But most of our fellow consumers are vapid, to the point where that movie will seem important in 2012 USA. At least distracting us from serious issues, as movies are meant to do.
  10:10pm
zotz:

Thanks, I almost went to see it tonight out of sheer choice fatigue...
  10:12pm
Andrew Waterloo:

The first time I heard of that movie was a young film reviewer calling it the worst of the year
  10:13pm
Andrew Waterloo:

A friend wanting me to go see The Hobbit in the old theatre downtown. said something about an old timey feel.
  10:27pm
dpcd:

The Who can be forgiven more than a few screwups, man. If only Moon were alive today... the Stones still have their drummer. Both bands were good in the benefit show but you are right, the Raspberries more better.
  10:34pm
ken in denver:

The Todd-o-phonic Christmas continues!
  10:35pm
Richard from Venezuela:

Good evening Todd and all the listeners.
  10:43pm
Joe B:

Hey Ken, think I forgot to say hi on the board yesterday, thanks for tuning in BOTH days!
  10:49pm
Scott B.:

Man I thought the Stones were dreadful in the Sandy benefit show. The Who managed to deliver a solid set, however. I just tuned in earlier caught The Dimensions side I didn't know it, gotta go own it now!
  10:54pm
SteveL:

Just back from an Xmas journey. I know what I'm catching up on tomorrow.
  11:03pm
Scott B.:

but what about the alternate Wisconsin Dimensions? were they any good?
  11:06pm
Scott B.:

I saw John Cale do a lecture at MOMA 2 years ago talking about his multimedia installation about Wales he did in Australia or NZ; trouble is, he never brought it to the USA so it was very frustrating. Looked interesting but how can we judge it if we can't experience it?
  11:09pm
ken in denver:

You can call me Ray, or you can call me Jay, but you doesn't have to call me Mr. Cale.
  11:10pm
Scott B.:

hmm there was also a Seattle band The Dimensions 65-68, says they opened for Paul Revere and the Raiders and Sonny and Cher. far out.
  11:12pm
Scott B.:

The Cale sounds promising, but it gets my vote for worst album title of 2012. more like Frustrating Hijinks in the MOMA theatre.
  11:15pm
tony:

Yeah, what about Kisses on the Bottom? That Sic Alps had a little bit 'o' Zep going on.
  11:17pm
Scott B.:

yeah you're right Kisses on der Bottom gives it a run for its money. The Sweet feckin rock!
  11:23pm
Scott B.:

anyone buy the Roxy box set? I got the digital version. Audio is meh meh not great.
  11:24pm
Scott B.:

where did everybody go? Cardinal Fang....CARDINAL FANG!
  11:25pm
Barkevious Shabazz:

I'd listen to Mother of Pearl thru a soup can and string.
  11:32pm
Sigurdur:

hi,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, from ICELAND
  11:43pm
Scott B.:

  11:53pm
