All right Matt!
Wed. 11/21/12 12:14am Matt from Springfield:

Appreciate those who cover Beatles obscurities like this one.
Wed. 11/21/12 12:15am Matt from Springfield:

Written by George, recorded by George at EMI Bombay with the musicians recording the Wonderwall soundtrack. Released 1968, B-side of "Lady Madonna".

Thanks for commenting folks! Make me feel alive out there!
Wed. 11/21/12 12:30am Matt from Springfield:

Alive and ROCKIN!
Watch Children, a good psychey-delic nugget I'm new to.
  Wed. 11/21/12 12:33am Terre T:

Tell me u were really playin a cassette on that Watch Children cut brosef!?
  Wed. 11/21/12 12:47am brycepunk:

Solid Gold Hell substitute -- you are doing well. Big shoes to fill. I trust you.
Wed. 11/21/12 12:50am BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

I don't know which studio Amanda Nazario does her show from, but she did an all cassette show a few weeks back. As far as I know no tapes were devoured. The only picky equipment I'm aware of is a CD player that tends to skip if someone attempts to play a CDR and turntable #2 in one of the studios like to create left- or right-channel only mixes.

And of course there's the squeaky chair!
Wed. 11/21/12 12:52am BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

I need to get that Lovestruck 7-inch!

Giuda released a few records as Taxi that are top-notch too.
Wed. 11/21/12 12:56am Matt from Springfield:

Web-only shows used to be in Studio B, but from what Amanda's announced, it seems they've moved to Studio C this year. Mike Sin's prob in A right now.

And to summarize: avoid Turntable 2 in ANY studio! They're all possessed! :)
Wed. 11/21/12 12:57am Matt from Springfield:

Is THIS the origin of the "99th Floor Elevators"?
Wed. 11/21/12 12:59am Matt from Springfield:

Paul Revere & The Raiders "Just Like Me" -- WHO ripped off whose riff first?!
Wed. 11/21/12 12:59am BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

@Matt: You're off by 86 floors. :P
Wed. 11/21/12 1:04am Matt from Springfield:

True, it was probably taken from the 13th, but wondered if the 99th floor lyric had anything to do with. "Twenty Floor Rock", "99th floor of the block", so many refs to floor levels in rock!
  Wed. 11/21/12 1:12am Terre T:

@Matt from Springfield -great observation! Don't forget "Heaven on the 7th Floor"! And thx for always being there MFromS & BGZero!
Wed. 11/21/12 1:14am BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

That Lovestruck single is proving to be elusive. But I did find out about a new Ty Segall/Velvet Underground split flexi and pounced on that!
Wed. 11/21/12 1:15am BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

Hello, Terre T! I hope your week is off to a tremendous start!
Wed. 11/21/12 1:19am Matt from Springfield:

Thanks Terre T! Always glad to be always here!

Wed. 11/21/12 1:47am BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

Ended up emailing LoveStruck to see if they have any of those singles left. :sigh:
Wed. 11/21/12 1:48am Matt from Springfield:

Loving the whole mini Singles block, great sound!
  Wed. 11/21/12 1:51am John Wy:

"Wild As Soul" came out in 1985. They released an album in 1986 and another 7-inch in 1987.
  Wed. 11/21/12 2:02am Chop Scott:

Excellent show Mike--Cheers!
  Wed. 11/21/12 2:05am KP:

Lot of Hoosiers on this train.
Wed. 11/21/12 2:07am Matt from Springfield:

Every Mother's Son--WFMU has been a great resource for playing their lesser known songs. It seems EVERY non-hit of theirs is pretty good!
  Wed. 11/21/12 2:07am KP:

Wow that sounded like the Monkees. Raging Gretsches.
Avatar    Wed. 11/21/12 2:10am Mike Sin:

T. Bowie!
Wed. 11/21/12 2:21am Matt from Springfield:

@BGZ: In the late 60s I believe it was "Tyrannosaurus Bowie"! :)

Go old folk-rock Gerry!
  Wed. 11/21/12 2:24am KP:

Tim Hardin is so real.
  Wed. 11/21/12 2:30am Joe B:

This single was on my record fair list
Wed. 11/21/12 2:36am BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

When I was up there in June I was staying with a friend that lives at 2nd & Coles. I was coming out of the Grove PATH station and Iris Records was setting their boot up. Found a couple of things. Found more at their store over on Brunswick St. Great recommendation from Therese!
  Wed. 11/21/12 2:38am KP:

Grove! Have to check it out, tnx.
  Wed. 11/21/12 2:39am KP:

BGZ, is the store far from Grove?
Wed. 11/21/12 2:43am BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

It's about a ten minute walk. There's a street market around the Grove station on the second or third weekend of the month. I don't know if it's year-round. But Grove has quite a bit of vinyl and some CDs. The vinyl is divided by genre but not alphabetized. Lots of records for two or three bucks each.
  Wed. 11/21/12 2:46am tmurf:

Awwwww! Actually this was a big childhood fave as a kid. You rock, Mike Sin! Fill in more.
  Wed. 11/21/12 2:47am KP:

Thanks BGZ, and Mike. Happy Thanksgiving all!
Wed. 11/21/12 2:49am BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):
